This is my go to Home Depot as it's very close to my house. The store is well stocked with everything I need. The employees are always asking people if they need help and they all have a lot of knowledge about where to find things in the store. The only reason I took off a star is that sometimes they have reps in the store that try and sell you on a water softener consultation. As someone who frequents the store it's inconvenient and I have to go out of my way to avoid being stopped by them. read more

Came to this location to grab a cabinet pull. When we arrived the parking lot was packed, so we had to park a bit away, which wasn't a horrible thing, since it was a nice day and didn't mind walking. When we arrived inside we were greeted by an employee. All the aisles are clearly labeled and clean. While we walked past the registers employees were ready and waiting to help. This is mostly intended for the rent department, I rented a van two days prior to a job after I contracted the people had everything ready literally the night before when was time to pick up the van Home Depot send me a email canceling my confirm van reservation. In other words they swept the rug under my feet. I had to go scrambling for the van on the very next day thank God I found one with enterprise... it set me back about four hours. It was very unprofessional from Home Depot very inconsiderable that was not acceptable at all. It's not to be trusted if you need a rental van trailer anything from Home Depot don't do it way better options out there Home Depot is not reliable. They don't care about you your commitments. We have bought thousands in appliances from Home Depot and in the past had no complaints but this store and the organization was a complete failure in multiple ways. The manager even agreed and restated when they screw up the do it royaly. I would not expect more than honnest people and honnest quality and it was tough to see on this lateset buy. We bought three refrigerators and washer dryer, dishwasher, in last months. In the last deliverey which was bumped by HD twice and each time it was a fiasco. FInnaly going to the store and calling everyone that was accoutable to the meeting in applainces (Note store manager refused to show up). The dryer was apparently the issue due to it being gas. In short we was told by several indivduals that our gas line would need a gas company to install and that was an additinal 150- 200 dollars. We also tried to make sure the deliverly and hook up went smooth bu buy several parts that in the end was wasted effort. TImco is the deliver and own bu HD. The team I had was great and it took less than ten minutes. I leave the sales team at this HD to get more training and knowledge and make it less stressful. read more

I tried to use a gift card today. They refused to honor it. I gave them the original receipt, the gift card, my ID, and my credit card used on original purchase. The back of the card CLEARLY stated good at any Home Depot in the US, was less than 1 year old, and had no expiration dates. We took the issue to the customer service office. The store manager still refused to honor it. I've been doing business with Home Depot for 43 years through 5 homes and spents at least 200k with them over the last nearly 4-1/2 decades. That all ends TODAY. The store manager should have immediately either accepted the gift card, or issued a new one. I left my purchases that I planned on making today in the store. They can put it all back. This is beyond aggregious. read more

Today...2/19/23...the store will get 4 because Kevin was sooo helpful. We bout a Meyer's tree and had the most exciting lesson on growing citrus ever! Folx! Do not mix citrus trees cuz the cross-pollination will happen and your fruit will be ruined. Did not know that! What!? Different citrus trees have to be far far away from each other. Who would've think it? ‍ Anywho...Kevin was awesome and we have a Meyer lemon tree and expect to have in a year. Yeah, it takes a while. And this is the best tree to purchase ($91) for juicing, cocktails, but for sprinkling over fish, get the dwarf tree ($60). IJS Thanks Kevin! This is our "go to " Home Depot now. So conveniently located within 2 miles of our home. Over the last few months we've had really great experiences with many departments, paint, hardware, window treatments and appliances. The last time I was in this Home Depot one of the customer care associates showed me a new feature. If you download the Home Depot app on your phone, you can take a picture of the part you're looking for and it will identify it with the correct aisle you can find it in. I thought this was a great feature that I was unaware of. Just Incase you have the part and don't know what the exact name or description is of it. This location is conveniently located off 9B south in the newly built Durbin Pavilion. The Home Depot is very clean, well organized and completely stocked with all the essential items you need for your home projects. The staff is efficient and customer oriented. Returns are easy and fast as long as you have your receipt and are within the time. Specified on that receipt. So glad we have this store in our backyard, lol. Although I'm not too happy about what is to come as far as the new "Town Center," this Home Depot is a welcome addition. I find myself here quite a bit and the place is well staffed with helpful personnel. Hopefully it stays that way as I'm sure we've all experienced the do-it-yourself stores that are staffed like Food Lion at midnight. Grand Opening of this Home Depot today (3/7/19). It resides in the first phase of the Pavilion at Durbin Creek in the St Johns county area.   This store is nothing different from any other Home Depots you are accustomed to seeing. It just happens this is a new store, so it has that new store smell, like breaking open that new car air freshener to place on your rear view mirror. Nice, clean floors. Aisle signs are nice and large, clearly readable.   What I like most about this Home Depot is it is nearby, which spells trouble for me. My son had a blast at the kids workshop. So far we had built an easel and a bird house, the apron is a nice touch too. My son loves coming to home depot, and he's always asking to go these days. I went on the grand opening day and I love that they had so many kids stations with popcorn and snow cones. There were so many employees standing around greeting us as we browse through the store. It was pretty nice and welcoming. I came back a few more times to pick up stuff for my front and back yard. I love their flower selections, I could pretty much find any types of plants or flowers here. I can't wait to see the final product. read more

We stopped into this Home Depot this past week to price a few things for a home we are building and at first I was very impressed with the service, but then it kind of went downhill when they found out it would be around 5 or 6 months before we purchased anything. We were looking at new washers, dryers, refrigerators, doors, flooring, etc and in the section with the fridges and washer and dryers we had 3 people come up and help us; the first two were nice and let us browser. But the 3rd person to come up and help us was nice and was trying to sell us everything in the store when I had to stop him to let him know we were building a home and it would be later that we purchased; he didn't say a word, he just turned around and found another customer to help. Just really blew me off; I really didn't like that. Now I'm probably going to take our business to Lowe's. read more

I feel like I am at Home Depot multiple times a week, especially this time of year as I love to Garden. I buy most of my plants from nurseries or this Home Depot. I have not had very good luck with plants at big chain stores but this Home Depot actually has quality, lasting plants that yield great production! Planters at a nursery can be so expensive so I actually get all of my planters from Home Depot and they have always been great for what I need. I love the variety of size and style planters, pretty much anything you wanna plant you can find the perfect planter here. The only struggle I have had with the plant section has been with the seeds. They have an okay selection but my biggest issue has been getting seeds, planting them and then a few months later turns out the seeds were not for what they were advertised. Some times it is small differences like I bought bush beans and got vine beans. Sometimes it is a bigger difference like totally different vegetables. The planting soil is okay, it not bad quality but the soil I find at a local nursery is better. I would recommend Home Depot's Black Cow as it is normally in great condition and often less expensive then I have found at other places. All in all I would recommend checking out this Home Depot for your gardening needs but maybe skip the seeds unless your feeling risky! read more

You have to read my previous reviews for context. Home Depot at Durbin is creeping back up in the rankings. They do a bunch of things really well and on balance I am really happy with the store. One thing I noticed earlier this year, which maybe they have corrected, but they offered a lot of palm trees that are not cold hardy in this area. For example - coconut palm. No way, no how are you getting a coconut palm to survive long term up here. They need to pay attention to the plants they are selling. But again, they are really strong in most areas so 4 stars for now. read more

I ordered on the website for furniture. At first it said they had selection in store and I could pick up immediately. After I paid and placed the order they said they have to order new stock. So I had to wait an additional week for a well needed item. When I came to the curbside pickup it took 30 minutes...I even called and they said they were "working on it". No I should've walked in and got the 200 pound item myself. It's not the guy that helps me fault. He was working hard! His name was Kirk (he deserves a raise for all the hard work he was doing.) I always enjoy a trip to Home Depot and this one saving me a drive to Southside has been great. Although, I will miss few of the people I got to know there. Employees here are friendly, not as much at checkout. Employees on the floor always seem to be stocking or moving stuff around where it used to feel like there were more waiting to help in other stores. I don't know. I'm being generous with 3 stars. I usually don't have to ask for help at Home Depot, and the few times I have, people were actually helpful. Here's my gripe for today's visit.... if you're gonna work in an industry that requires a level of customer service, do just that- provide some customer service. I had a can of paint in which wouldn't scan (sku not entered) and all I needed was "can you give me a few minutes to figure this out?" Instead of the obvious huffing and puffing "I'm the only one here and I have to help this other lady and this always happens from the paint department.." blah blah blah. I get it, stuff happens, I'm sure most of your day is inundated with correcting errors at the self check-out (which seems like the only option at this Home Depot now) but, shit! Can you not make the customer feel like it's my fault the can of spray paint didn't exist in the Home Depot system? Don't work in a customer service job if you can't provide it. BTW, I also got handed off to someone else to fix the problem. Now I don't even feel like painting. read more

Management is absolutely horrible. Associates scrambling to perform the silly job supervisors call running a store. In over their heads. You read all these reviews and think it's individuals who mess up, when in reality it's the managers. When it's one associate who repeatedly makes the mistake then that's fine, but when it's the entire store???? No that's when you have to look to the top. The employee then starts telling me he has worked for Home Depot for some time and this is one of the first Home Depot he has seen that doesn't even carry and child safety locks at all.
