I had to write this. Trying to do business with these people is frustrating. I've spent…read moreliterally, tens of thousands of dollars since 2009-10 through 2025, but it's frustrating dealing with these sales people. Marissa in particular. How does she keep her job? I've purchased all my kitchen appliances and 2 Bidet toilets over the years. They have a great showroom and I wanted to give them MORE business just this week but Marissa never, NEVER calls back. I'm done, I'll spend my money elsewhere. The owner obviously makes tons of money to not want my business.

I ordered my appliance package through salesperson Don. Was offered, in writing, the option of…read morereceiving a monetary refund or an extended warranty if I went with a current promotion. I chose the extended warranty as I had spent a great sum on the Wolf/Subzero package that included a total of 7 appliances. The extended warranty offer was the deciding factor as to why I purchased this particular package. The appliances came in staggered, with some taking well over a YEAR to arrive. Of course they blamed in on the manufacturer and Covid. Upon arrival and install, the installation "professionals" at First Coast Supply damaged my brand new custom cabinets. I had to have them repainted. Then, when it came time to ensure that I had indeed received my extended warranty, I learned that I did not have the extended warranty as agreed due to not "selecting" this and filling out some form. This was the first I heard of it and I certainly never received the form. First Coast supply had over a year to inform me of this and never did. First Coast Supply has essentially placed the blame on me and is refusing to do anything about the situation. Their response is "we cannot do anything about it." Some much for customer service. This is the second full kitchen appliance package I have purchased from First Coast Supply. I would highly recommend avoiding this business for any of your needs. They are happy to take your money and then when they make a mistake, they blame it on the customer and refuse to make it right. Don't make the same mistake that I did.

American Freight Furniture & Mattress - Not the best picture, but the sofa, coffee table, and side tables were from this store.

So I was desperately looking for a dining room set and settled on getting one from American…read moreFreight. They were nearby, offered same day delivery, and they're affordable. Why not give them a shot? I saw one I liked online and went over to the warehouse to check it out. The place is huge and hot. Up the ramp and immediately to the right is the clearance area so I strolled in to see what they had. Most of it were damaged furniture marked down but still good enough to use. Unfortunately they didn't have anything I wanted. So I made a beeline to the dining room furniture and saw the set I wanted. A friendly salesman came by and asked if I've been helped. I told him no but I knew exactly what I wanted. I showed him the table and we went to the front to checkout. Him stated that the floor model was the last one they had and would I have a problem with that. No assembly? Shoot, easy for me. He told me the guys would disassemble it if they need to get it inside. Cool beans. He told me it would be a few hours before they could deliver it, so go run my errands (I guess I looked like I had stuff to do?) and they would call me. I thanked them and I did run my errands. A few hours later the delivery guys did call me and told me they were on their way. They arrived when they said they would, carried my dining room set up the stairs and in my apartment. If you're in a pinch for furniture, you should definitely check these guys out.

Great value on furniture. There isn't a huge selection, and it's mostly sofas, coffee tables, rugs,…read moreand bedroom. But that's a lot to get you started. Nice folks, as well. Ringing everything up did take quite a long time, for reasons that seemed to do with their system. I think they arrange delivery, but we were able to haul the stuff off ourselves.

I purchased a home in Jacksonville last fall and the house was built in 2007. All of the…read moreappliances were new with the house apparently. Dishwasher decided to start singing some new songs before it literally burnt out. over the range Microwave heats when it wants to and the refrigerator is turned up high just to keep things cold and it makes ice, just won't dispense it. With all of that I thought I might just go ahead and replace everything, including the stove, that works, but sometimes I would question the heat of the oven. After some research I find American Freight. I started an application to see what I would be approved for and got an answer, but wasn't able to finish the application. May have been some accessibility issue, which I should mention at this point that I am legally blind and use a screen reader on my computer. I called the store to see if they could help and I got Cynthia on the phone who suggested I come in, which I thought would be a good idea because screen readers turn text into speech, photos is another thing. I get to the store and ask for her and have to say I am glad I did. After finding I would have to do the application again and the finance company doesn't take an application over the phone I would have to do it in the store. With that, Cynthia, with permission from her manager, became my screen reader on the store computer. She made sure that I knew what I was getting and steered me away from the really beat up appliances. While checking out I had to compliment her on taking the time and being patient with all I had to go through. Most people don't want to take the time with you when you're blind. Then comes delivery day. All went good except when they hooked up the refrigerator and was opening the door, the glass that covers the two drawers got caught on the door and shattered. Very apologetic and they cleaned it up. They took pictures and made note on the delivery. They said I was the last stop and that I will hear from the manager when they get back to the store. Two hours later no contact from the store, so I called. I got Cynthia who said she will let Matt know that I called. The next day I called back and told the whole story to a Patrick. He starts telling me that I need to take pictures and email it to them. I told him that the delivery guys already did that and I was suppose to hear from Matt. He's off today, Patrick says. Well, what's going to be done about this? This should have been taken care of yesterday. If this isn't important to you guys then I'll send the dam order back and go to Lowes. Then the conversation went south when he starts with his not being appreciative of my cursing at him. It's not like I said, look here Mother F...er. So when he starts raising his voice at me I told him I didn't appreciate that, I also didn't appreciate my issue being ignored. As a matter of fact let's start the process and return the order. He hung up on me. I called back and got someone different, forgot to ask the name, but he wasn't Patrick. I asked do I have to email pictures to get my shelf replaced on my refrigerator. He wasn't sure what I was talking about and asked to put me on Hold. After quite a few minutes later I hung up and called back. I got Manny who did find the shelf in the office and asked if I could come and get it. It would be two Uber trips, so I said no, it was suppose to come with the refrigerator delivered and I expect the replacement to be delivered. He said the manager would have to approve that. The next day I called and asked if I was speaking to Matt. No, it's Kevin, Matt is off today, what can I do for you. In short he took ownership of the issue and offered to have the shelf delivered the next day. I was not going to be able to receive it then so the next delivery day in my area was a few days later. This is a long and detailed story and could have been made a lot shorter if I knew the shelf was picked and going to be delivered. They only get one point knocked off for Patrick's ranting over me saying dam order and eventually hanging up on me. I use to work in a AT&T call center a few years ago and if I ever hung up on a customer tthey could fire you immediately. Working for AT&T and my own businesses I always want the customer to have a great experience. If I had an employee keeping that from happening they wouldn't work for me for long. At the end of a sale when I worked for AT&T I used this statement. At AT&T we strive to give our customers a 5 star experience. If there was anything during this call that you feel I don't deserve a 5 star rating I wish you would let me know now that I can make it right. They would usually say, No, you were great. Then I would continue. That's great to hear. Management would also like to hear that so if you should happen to get a survey it would be appreciated if you would reflect that in your rating.
