Stopped in to inquire about replacement parts for my current cordless stick vacuum. Staff were happy to help and as I was looking for the model number on my phone Jonathan (store manager) asked a few great questions that upon honest reflection I knew I wouldn't be happy just repairing my current unit. Needed a part replaced on my Dyson DC14 upright and they made me order the part from Amazon because it was discontinued and they couldn't get it through their distributor. Part came and they replaced it within a day. No problems. And they offered free advice on keeping the Dyson running because I don't want to buy a new vacuum since my home is remodeled to mostly tile now. Very affordable and good experience. read more

I called the store to inquire about a new part for my vacuum and they were super helpful and friendly! Going into the store to get a part cleaned Jonathan was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Sometimes coming into appliances stores, car stores etc gives me anxiety as a woman being talked down to or talked into buying stuff I don't need or want but my experience was entirely the opposite. I just want to acknowledge Johathan Hamilton, for his kindness today when my wife and I stopped by with our Miele vacuum cleaner, that she had sucked a sock into and we spent a day trying to figure out how to get it out. We are most impressed with the personal service we have received at the Oreck Center in Mandarin, FL. The sales people go out of their way to be helpful, and are always willing to give advice on cleaning methods.....in our case white kitchen tile with white grout....a tricky situation. On one occasion, we arrived at the store to pick up a repair, after closing time. I've owned an Oreck XL for 10+ years and loved it. It is lightweight and easy to use. It finally broke so I made the trip back to Oreck to upgrade. I was excited to buy a new machine because I figured the technology and performance would only improve in the 10 years since I bought my first one. Sadly, I was wrong. The Oreck company was sold in 2003 and is now in bankruptcy. Boo. It felt like they've been left "in the dust" by the competition. I bought the Oreck Gold and took it home knowing I had 30 days to return it. It was hard to push and didn't seem to work as well as my ten year old Oreck. Back to the store and traded it for the Magnesium RS. I loved this machine; it was light and very easy to maneuver. After shelling out $400, I thought I had found the perfect machine. I had several friends that raved about their Dyson machine. I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and spent $380 for the newest Dyson, DC50 Animal. The Dyson machine weighs only 11.2 lbs. A vacuumed my entire home with my beloved Oreck then vacuumed immediately with the Dyson. Stunning. I could not believe what the Oreck didn't pick up. I never thought I'd do it, but I returned the Oreck Magnesium and am now a happy Dyson owner. I was the biggest Oreck fan until I tried the Dyson Lightweight. I'll be sad if Oreck doesn't improve their technology. They once made great machines. read more

This store claims to fix several brands of vacumn cleaners, however I believe they have you come in with your vacumn so they can up sell you on an Oreck. I witnessed them do it to the customer in front of me and then when I handed them the dyson dc17 roller belt and asked if they had a replacement in stock. The salesman smirked and said yes but it will cost you $130 because you have to replace the whole clutch bracket. Luckily I had done research prior to going to the store and knew the cost of the band is approx $3.50 and you can easily install the band even YouTube has a video it takes maybe 30 seconds. Clearly he thought he had someone he could manipulate and make some commission. read more
