The truth is, I haven't bought lawn equipment in decades. I haven't mowed a lawn in decades. So I took my clueless self into Home Depot in Jax Beach this past weekend and met Chad. He was beyond helpful -- let me ask about 5,027 questions without ever making me feel stupid, annoying, or like I was wasting his time. Today I went back, still overwhelmed, and even apologized for being so clueless and wishy-washy. Chad didn't miss a beat. He said: "You should be. Make sure you ask questions, do your homework." He never once made me feel dumb or like I was a bother. Instead, he put together a package that was actually cheaper than the bundle I thought I needed, and reassured me that if I need help later, someone there will show me how to use everything. So, shout out to Home Depot. And shout out to Chad. and hopefully I remembered his name, right! If you happen to see this "old lady" struggling to mow her lawn... just wave, smile, and keep driving. Since they only accept cash or check, we had little leverage to get a refund. Essentially, this is a very "old school" man working with a younger technician who actually does the work. George S. can be gruff, grumpy, forgetful and can't be bothered with this new-fangled "customer service" stuff. We will no longer work with vendors who do not accept debit or credit cards. Step 1 - Choose your scent. We picked oils from a choice of over 90+ varieties. For my candle, I picked Black Sea, Deep Sea, and Exotic Oud. For the reed diffuser, I picked White Tea and Yuzu. Mah Wife chose Cypress, Hotel Lux, and Sea Breeze. For her essential oils dropper, she went with Verbena and White Tea. Step 2 - Choose your vessel. As mentioned we both chose a candle, a reed diffuser, and oil dropper. We combined our chosen scents into 1 oz or 2 oz portions and poured them into their appropriate vessels. Step 3 - Wait. The candles take a couple of hours to harden and set, so we did some shopping and came back to pick them up. The oil dropper and diffuser you can take immediately. Step 4 - Enjoy! We love these scents and because we made them, those scents are not available anywhere else and are completely unique. They keep the store clean enough, and the appliances- I was told goes through a rigorous cleaning and testing process before it goes on their floor for sales. We ended up buying a really good LG washer-dryer set for a reasonable cost. They accept various methods of payment. We used Venmo, instead of cash, as we wanted to have some form of written transaction. We had scheduled our delivery for the second floor of the house, and were agreeable to pay whatever additional cost needed to take it to our second floor laundry room. They do not own the delivery service and just contract it out. Their company policies also, doesn't take accountability for any damage caused during installation. They have a 30 day warranty to repair any issues with your appliances. The reason for my 3 stars is issues with scheduling and delivery. But, the owner and Josh were very helpful and quick with resolving our issues. We ended up not taking the delivery because of those issues but our money was promptly returned in full. Recommend buying appliances from them if it works for you, but make sure you figure out everything with delivery and schedule.
