I paid the deposit and they scheduled with me to come back on a Saturday to finish the repair. They never showed up so I called to see when they were coming. That is when they told me that the part was obsolete and that there was nothing they could do. I told them that they wasted my Saturday waiting for them to come to my house and that I wanted a refund of my deposit. They sais that would refund my money. i never got the refund even though I called many times. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!

I had to make several calls over two week period could not get a straight answer. We are now one month later and they simply do not return my calls. It is my fault. I should've asked to see their licensing. The gentleman that arrived appeared to have no idea what he's doing yet We paid him as we were in a rush to get the repair done. I suspect he has no licenses. This is a unqualified business that pays to be first on a google search. Scam do not use this company.

Called for the knob that had broken and dryer taking too long to dry a load of laundry as well it sounded like the belts may have been loose on the drum. The guy called me on the phone while he was in my home to tell me that he replaced the knob and vacuum out the dryer. Told my mom when he left that if it takes too long to call a different company out to clean the dryer vent. After I got home about 5 Days later the knob came off again but this time the prong for the knob was gone from sight. After giving these ah..es $253.47 I was hoping just a mistake on a green technician. No it wasn't a mistake, these people have a scam going with social media with posting fraudulent posts!! Not our problem if we're paying for delivery. Delivery day comes & he's a no show all day. We called them to find out where he was & they gave us his number. Said that we needed to contact him. Not our job. We paid for delivery, they should contact him. I called him at 5pm because they wouldn't in order to find out where he was. I told him that we had clothes to wash, that they were going to mold because they're wet, & he laughed at me. He doesn't show until 7:30pm. We had to go meet him at the gate because he didn't have base access. We were not told this until he arrived. He was nice enough upon delivery. The dryer was broken & would not even start. I contacted Elizabeth the next morning & she said that it ran when it left the store, that they test all of their equipment. She stated that it was a problem on our end. It wasn't. It was a broken dryer. After speaking to my husband, she finally agreed to send another out to trade ours out. They didn't show up until 7:30pm the next night to trade them out. Because of everything that happened, Elizabeth reluctantly offered to extend the in-store warranty by 30 days. Ok, but we have no way to return the equipment to the store if there is a problem. She refused to refund any money. The washer began squeaking on spin cycle within 3 days. Instead of contacting them, which obviously was a dead end, we YouTubed it. From our research, it appeared to be a problem with the belt (all of this should have been replaced before they sold it). We bought a special oil to spray on it. We sprayed under the washer, where the belt is located, & it stopped squeaking. We see a new washer belt in our future. This is not a business looking out in the best interests of their customers. Obviously, they are looking to make a quick buck. Buyer beware - you have been warned by others & myself - not to do business with these people.

I'd really recommend using his company for your appliance repair. It's always been cheaper for us to repair than replace, and I like to think more sustainable. Most things he has been able to fix same day. When our dryer broke, he did have to order a part. After giving us a quote, I was unsure if we were going to fix or replace. Then I looked up FL Air Flow Heating & Air and called them. An employee answered, followed up by text for my information and had someone at my house 4 hrs later. The team were polite, quickly applied pressure to push out the clog, and were gone in a matter of 15min or so. Price seemed fair for emergency service. I still haven't heard back from Jenkins, so I think I found my new provider.

That shows his regard for community and relationships. They installed a UV light in the ac unit which prevents the return of mold. Very professional, courteous & cleaned up before leaving. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC services. I own an aging but otherwise reliable Dryer. Its door, on-off switch (made from plastic) finally fell apart. Following this, jiggling the timer control and main on/off switch to make it run eventually no longer worked. I visited Atlantic Coast with the machine's model, series, and serial numbers to inquire re a possible house visit and a repair. Bill politely listened to the symptoms, went inside the shop for a moment, and returned with a twin-part electronic component connected by six inch wires. He said he was confident this replacement was all the dryer needed. When I mentioned my familiarity with appliances ends where plugs are inserted into wall sockets, he quickly explained the simplicity in changing out this switch. Following his directions, it was, and the dryer responded immediately. With luck, it will run another nine years. We were expecting the need to purchase a new dryer. Instead, thanks to Bill, it was a twenty-six dollar repair. As this was an excellent opportunity for an unscrupulous technician to make a home visit, take advantage of a situation, and enhance their fees, I can only encourage every Beach resident to consider, when an appliance becomes unserviceable, that it's time to phone Atlantic Coast Appliance ..... and ask for Bill!! My first encounter with Bill came on a holiday weekend when my refridgerator started leaking water all over my hardwood floor. He showed up in less than an hour and fixed the problem with parts he already had, and the fee was very reasonable. So, when my dish washer started pouring water out yesterday I gave Bill a call. After asking a few questions he told me that I would be better off just buying a new one and recommended several brands based on my needs. I am very impressed with Bill's honesty as well as his knowledge and service. He could easily have charged me to come over and fix my washer but instead gave me good advice at no charge. Allen came out, listened to what the fridge was doing and immediately knew it was the "cold switch". He said he would have to order the part and it would be in within two days. Not a problem as it was still technically running. The next day Greg called to let me know the part was in and set up a time slot for that day. Allen came back and made the repair. He was such a nice gentleman, professional and friendly. Listened to the trouble shooting I had done and didn't doubt me because I was a woman. As for value, there is an $80 service call charge, however it's deducted from the cost of the repair. That's good value in my opinion. AUGUST 2023 UPDATE:…read more 6 YEARS ago I had such a terrible experience I wrote a scathing but honest review (below) Last week, my dishwasher broke. A neighbor recommended Atlantic Coast. Seeing now their dramatically improved ratings, I thought it was fair to extend a do-over and then hopefully report back with a positive update. I called and scheduled a repair appointment. Instead, I got a call saying I've been forever blacklisted and they would not come. I respect this is their right, of course, as spiteful as it may be. So, here's my update and, again, YOU decide if you want to deal with a vindictive business which is more determined to hold a grudge than accept an opportunity to prove a past experience was out-of-the-ordinary, that maybe they've resolved any underlying problems from six years ago, and maybe there's no longer a good reason YOU really should choose somebody else. ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM JANUARY 2017 This place MAY have once had a stellar reputation but my experience with new owner Bill keeps me from ever calling again. Bottom line: I needed a replacement part that retails for $25. I watched the Atlantic Coast tech (Eric) take about 10 minutes to install it. Then, I was told the charges would be about $230...$60 for the $25 part (available on Amazon for $11), the rest for labor. Ultimately, the owner offered to settle by dropping the cost of the part from $60 to $32.25 (full retail + their policy to mark up 25% for making the call to order it--with my credit card) and "only" $129 for the few minutes of labor (Atlantic Coasts' minimum labor charge)...and if I was going to disclose this experience on YELP or elsewhere, he threatened to call off the whole settlement and told me "Florida courts are very friendly to businesses, you know." Their website promises "100% satisfaction guaranteed to each customer" but Bill says that means "only to normal people," which, I suppose, are those who don't stand up to such a blatant ripoff. I won't even get into the part where I prepaid $29 for a light bulb for my microwave only to be told by the same technician that it would cost an additional $200 or $300 to disassemble the appliance to put it in. Is this the kind of business you want to deal with when your appliance goes on the fritz? Now Bill now has my money (so I can avoid wasting time in those Florida courts he insists are so unfriendly to consumers) and you? You have been informed of what you can expect at Atlantic Coast Appliance Repair.

Tyson sent out his assistance the next day, Alfredo was on exactly on time and professional, he went right to work and kept a clean work area while fixing the problem. Within 1 hour he fixed it, and for under $200! So 3 nights ago while cooking dinner I realized my oven wasn't heating up, the stove top and broiler worked fine so I called Tyson to schedule appointment, next day he arrived exactly on time, assessed the issue and ordered the part locally, he arrived bright and early next day with the element and replaced it and tidied up his work area and was finished in under 1 hour. Great job, extremely reasonable price for fantastic service! He's very knowledgeable and professional. Worth his weight in gold! Since they only accept cash or check, we had little leverage to get a refund. Essentially, this is a very "old school" man working with a younger technician who actually does the work. George S. can be gruff, grumpy, forgetful and can't be bothered with this new-fangled "customer service" stuff. We will no longer work with vendors who do not accept debit or credit cards. Finally repaired by a different company.
