Ché, she is an excellent teacher to the new entry level employees. Kim, my product and hair advisor (inside joke about the hair). Ms. Carol multitasker in rerurns department. The newly entry level employees who waited on me with the best concierge treatment.: Autumn, Quanyea, and Dasgana. I was able to match my 47 years old moulding to their stocked mouldings. The store location is Randallstown Maryland store number 6495. It took two days to reserve rental pick up truck. The schedule pick up time was 11 AM. I was there at 10:50AM. Home Depot demands identity check using CLEAR the same company that used at the airport. I went through the process on my cell phone and it said through clear that my identity was verified successfully. at this time, Cassandra advised me that he could not verify my identity with clear. I asked what did they saying is the issue Cassandra's response I don't know my ass well can you find out? No I said can't you call them no. I didn't ask to speak to the manager of the store who she came over who are later identified as Yates as the store manager and she just looked at me and said we can do nobody. We can call ain't nothing we could do! At this point, they are two charges on my credit card for $150 pending for the same one pick up that they wasn't gonna give it to me! Google clear contacted them because Home Depot has a relationship with him as a partner and have literature to state so but don't have a phone number for makes no sense. Once I spoke to CLEAR they told me that my email address was entered incorrectly by Home Depot representatives without the M on the.com! The manager also said that they could make a call that they didn't have a number there's nothing they could do! Once I spoke to Claire, the representative says they should've called and it could call as well. I saw the reviews and was scared to even stop in here on a quick trip. But I decided to ignore them and give it a try. The parking lot is very busy with the other businesses in the area so make sure you drive careful. I went in just to get a few storage containers. There was no line so I was able to get in and out quickly. I honestly don't have any complaints overall it was a good shopping trip. I did not see too many sales associates around, but I did not require any assistance. I found the items I was looking for easily I was in and out in under five minutes. The store look like it could use a good cleaning but it's Home Depot so most people aren't concerned with that aspect. Overall an average shopping trip. read more

First and last HD tool rental for me. I rented a sod cutter and gave it a thorough rinse before returning - I took it seriously. They insisted on adding a $75 cleaning fee. It is a tool that digs up sod and dirt - did you expect me to wax it? Walked straight over to customer service and we went back together to see and they had already cleaned it - so it took 5 minutes max. The absolutely crappy reviews are well deserved...this store is single-handedly bringing down the Home Depot Corp! I blame management, fire everyone and get some new blood in here. The workers are uninspired and lackluster in the performance of their duties. It seems that too many (not Eric) of those who work here seem lazy OR have an indifferent attitude for whatever reason. Today while looking for some Christmas decorations I was approached by a very friendly young lady (Kaleisha) she asked how my day was and if I needed any help finding something, at first I declined thinking maybe I was just looking in the wrong place but Kaleisha came over and asked what I was looking for, I described the item for her and she quickly pulled the item up , she went on to search for the item but there were none on the floor , she asked if I had more shopping to do and I told her no , she then offered to take my number and call me when the item was located . Within 45 minutes she called stating she located the item ! I want to thank her and let her know that appreciate her effort ! Kaleisha is truly an asset to this store! read more

The tool rental section has serious problems it seems from other reviews and I can see why. I had my son pick up a drain auger machine and it was disgusting. It leaked sewage gunk in his car when he loaded it. When he returned it after washing it out cleaner than he received it, they charged him a 50 dollar cleaning fee. Another time I rented a concrete saw and got a hefty surprise blade usage fee that was not listed on the website. I will be giving my money to an actual tool rental business from now on. Stopped by to pick up some bird seed. Every package and pail of birdseed was covered in bird droppings! Many birds seem to be making the display their permanent home. There was literally no package of seed that I could safely touch since they were all covered with droppings. The whole area was very messy and I can imagine what this area looks like at night when I am sure it has attracted its share of mice and rats. Very unsanitary conditions and frankly an appalling sight. A health hazard! Store manager, please fix this situation! read more

WARNING -- Home Depot sub-contracts many different companies for appliance delivery . paid for stove delivery, installation, hook up and haul away. They dropped the new stove and LEFT ME WITH THE STOVE SITTING IN THE LIVING ROOM ! called back: "THIS IS A TWO STEP PROCESS SIR" really?! had I only known.... I called Home Depot to ask a few questions about tool rental. When I was transferred to that department a women with an African accent informed me that you can't make a reservation just come on the day you want to rent what you need, which I was fine with. Then I asked her about rentals for multiple days and before I can finish my question she cut me off and started talking about 4 hour rental. I again tried asking about multiple days and she went right back to 4 hours. On my third attempt she finally addressed renting for a week. She was rude and not helpful at all. Wow, where to start. Bought dryer from Liberty Rd store on the 3rd of Sept. They delivered it on the 12th & cut the electric cord taking it out the box. They didn't come back & pick it up until the 15th. So now they suppose to deliver it today & hook it up. Well, they said that they were delivering today & gone come out on the 3rd of Oct to install. Absolute garbage customer service. I went to this location because the Home Depot website said it had an electric pressure washer available for rent. I made it to the store and they pulled out the pressure washer but did not have the proper hose that fit the washer. After the employee spent some time fumbling and asking his colleague whether they had a hose, they concluded that they did not. Without any alternative, I had to rent the gas-powered pressure washer (at full price, of course) which they *did* have a proper hose for. The gas tank was almost empty but the employee promised he would top me off while I finished and paid up front. He disappeared into the back room and did not emerge. I wait around until he came back out and asked me what I wanted. I reminded him that I needed enough gas. I got home and started everything up and it was only then that I realized that the employees had not bothered to give me the pressure nozzles that go on the tip of the gun. Without it, the machine is useless. Being that this was my first time pressure washing and (stupidly) trusting these employees to know what they were doing, I had left the store not knowing this. So... it was another 15-minute drive, one-way to get the nozzles. Then, the machine (which the employee assured me had been topped off) ran out of gas halfway through my job. So it was off to the gas station to get enough gas to keep the machine going. Judging by how little gas the washer consumed *after* I ACTUALLY topped it off, I can safely say that it was never really topped off to begin with. Finally, I finished the job and went to return it the next day in the afternoon. I get to the door and ring it over and over but there's no one in the entire rental section. A companion of mine has to go around and ask someone who works in another department to let me in through the tool rental door. That person pages for someone to come down to the rental kiosk to check the equipment back in. I spend ANOTHER 10-15 minutes waiting stupidly until someone (not in uniform) comes to the rental place and checks me out. No apology, no discount, no nothing. This Home Depot is garbage from beginning to end. No one knows what they're doing or what equipment they have or don't have. Employees don't know or care what tools should go with a rental and, evidently, don't even man the rental kiosk for minutes on end. Stay away from this dump. read more

Has to be the worst Home Depot in the chain. Only go in there if you know exactly what you want and where it is located because there is no customer service what so ever! And if you are lucky enough to get someone to assist you after walking the isles to find an associate, they act like they are doing you a favor. Not my first time in this store but definitely my last. Even when they page someone to the department no one shows up. The only reason I torture myself going in there is because of convenience of location. From now on I will go to the new Lowes in Owings mills. Waited to get a key made for 5+ minutes while three employees stood around and talked to each other. Acknowledged by glancing at me several times but not one offering to help. I finally had to go search for someone that was willing to find someone to help. Another employee screamed very unprofessional from across the store to another for help with something else. I went to buy paint... was standing at the paint counter for 20 minutes even after someone was paged to come help. I tried to lock out of the door because it was locked and my hands were full.. the employee stands and looks at me and tells me it's unlocked.. it is but only opens 5 inches... idk what they got going on but it's shitty read more

I have never been to this location before. I to this location in search for mirror bi field closet doors. Looking for help in this section of the store there was a young lady who started she could help. I asked if they had custom doors because of the measurements of my doors. She then stated no they don't do custom doors. I knew she was lying because I got all my doors custom and installed by the home depot. I then asked her to check there computer so that I special order my doors. She then showed me a style I did not asked for them told me that was the only style they had. She was very rude and nasty. She was in educated about the product and the department she was in. I would respect her more if she said that she didn't know the answer to my questions. This was a horrible experience with this location and they need to do better with hiring and training there associates . read more

I came to this Home Depot because two others said their pipe cutting machine wasn't working. I called ahead and they told me someone was there and all is good! Well I had to wait about 10 min. But when Rudy showed up from the paint dept. he did an incredible job. I also found out he can work in almost every dept in Home Depot! It is a shame more people don't learn from him. I am not exaggerating when I tell you he got called to help every other minute because he is so helpful!!! Many others only learn to do one thing and one thing only. He is truly an asset to them. 2 days before Thanksgiving the evening crew at Home Depot assisted me with purchasing a refrigerator after hours and then they delivered it to my home because the cash registers were shut down and we could not rent a truck. This is the worst customer service experience that I have ever received!!! So horrible that I wrote this review, filed a complaint with the BBB and corporate office, and canceled an order of $5,000and most importantly they have lost a long time shopper to a company that prides themselves with their customer service to LOWES. This is all because of their lack of respect, honesty and integrity. I had rented a tool from their rental department one night to work on a small project to be done after work. The project shouldn't take any longer than a few hours. My goal was to pick up the equipment from HD and have it returned within 4 hours. When I went to use the equipment it was not working properly, the handle was broken and there was a piece of medal that kept falling off every couple of minutes. I tried for about 1 1/2 hours to work with the defective equipment but realized it was not doing the job it should be doing. So I went back to HD to swap out the equipment and since the store was about to close in 15 minutes. There was not enough time for me to drive home, work on my project and have it returned within 15 minutes. I asked the guy at the register if I can return the equipment the following day before closing hours since I am unable to work on my project tonight and that I can't start the project until 6:00pm the following day. The guy stated no problem and that he will even honor my 4 hour rental price of $50 because they have provided me with faulty equipment. I went to return the equipment the following day and they accidentally charged my credit card $100. As I explained to the manager what happened the previous night and what was promised to me. She still wanted to charge me the full amount. She stated that the person who worked the previous night was not authorized to do that and that I have no choice but to pay the full price!!! I tried reasoning with her for 10 minutes but after realizing this isn't going anywhere. I asked to speak to the General Manager. She stated that he will not waste his time on me and that I should leave her store to shop somewhere else!! So this my experience shopping at Home Depot. Ok so I went to Home Depot today TWICE. The first time I walked in I went straight to the back, there were only 2 employees in the entire back area. One young lady was sitting at a table and I asked her was there a way to ring for assistance in a particular department, so pointed to the aisle with the door bells, smacked her lips and turned her head. Really??? She understood what I was referring to she was being ignorant. Another employee witnessed this and came over to help. He walked me over to the section I needed. I than proceeded to check out and there were no cashiers at any register. I couldn't believe it. Only the self checks were available for use. A guy name David saw me looking around and came to help. He wasn't even a cashier he was a tool tech. He was friendly and pleasant. I paid for my items and left. Upon my second visit the same day because I needed more of what I had bought, I walked into the entrance and there were to employees talking the first lady looked directly at me and than turned her head the young man spoke. At this point I'm pissed. I went and picked up what I needed paid and left. They finally had one cashier by now. The problem is during both of my visits only 2 employees spoke to me. The customer services is unacceptable. I will never go back to this home depot. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of shopping there today while Bismark was the Manager in charge. My husband warned me to avoid this particular shop and pick up the needed supplies at either of the Reisterstown Road stores, but I was on Liberty Road today and figured it couldn't be THAT bad. Boy was I ever wrong. I have shopped Home Depots in California, New York, Virginia and Maryland; I've shopped Lowes, Hechingers, Ace Hardware, and even the specialty shops over the past 20-years helping in my husband's business, so I am accustomed to bad customer service, but Bismark takes unprofessional behavior and poor customer service to an all-new low. I feel sorry for his employees. Customers have a choice, and I chose to spend my money at another store. If today was any indication, Bismark is a poor example, a poor leader, and his employees bear the shame when they have to make excuses for him. Home Depot should cut its losses and either close that store or hire a manager that will respect the customers and employees. read more

I was in this store on Saturday afternoon around 2:00pm. As I walked in with a bag in my hand, the lady at the Customer Service counter asked if I had a return. I said that I did not, that I had a plumbing fixture that I needed a part for. She told me who to see in plumbing that could help me. I approached the employee and asked him where I could find what I was looking for. He stopped what he was doing and took me to the bin where the pipe I needed was located. He took it out of the bin and checked to make sure it would fit my fixture. When he couldn't get the threads to catch, he asked me to follow him. He cleaned up the threads on my fixture and tried connecting the two parts again...this time with success. I was impressed with his willingness to help me and his knowledge. When I went to pay I got a phone call from home asking me to pick up shims as well. I asked what shims were and where to find them. The checkout lady heard me and when I hung up she told me that shims were in aisle 22 and that I could leave my other things at the counter while I went to pick up the shims. I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly everyone I encountered at this store was on Saturday and actually have been everytime I've been in the store, which is very convenient for me since I live closeby! read more
