An employee was weird & racist here. I own a delivery service, so sometimes I pick up orders for customers. So my interaction with Reze goes as follows. I'm the only customer & I wait in the customer service line for 7 minutes while he's looking at something in a "phone" or scanner. My first thought is to just leave after not being acknowledged, but my customer doesn't deserve that so after walking out the store, I walk back in & with I ask Reze "Is the order ready or not so I can cancel it?" He asks me the order number & I give it to him, then he asks the name. The customer has an Eastern European name, so I attempt to pronounce it, then I spell it for him. But no, that's not good enough for him, he wants me to pronounce it. I tell him I've already given him the order number & spelled the last name & I don't know the person, so I don't know how to pronounce the last name. He goes out of his way 2x to show me he knows how to pronounce the Eastern European last name . Congratulations, I bet that helped you get your job at Home Depot. I'm not an announcer, knowing how to pronounce Eastern European names does nothing for my business & doesn't help it grow. Reze then asks me "Are you good?" I tell him i've been waiting here 7 minutes & that's when his superior has to step in and tells him "just get the order" I'm glad the supervisor was there to tell him to get back to work because the micro aggressions were totally unnecessary. Great experience at the Home Depot in Pasadena. The staff was attentive and very helpful. Anytime they saw you walking around looking for something, they would stop and ask if you needed assistance. Busy tonight, where did all these people come from. Walking in it seemed as if the Store was staffed because everyone was at the front entrance register. But as I walked down each isle looking for help I realized that they were either short staffed or taking a break. I looked down at least 8 isles for a paint scrapper and when I did find someone they sent me down the wrong isle (huh?) Well I found it on my own like everything else I purchased. My mom and I visited the Home Depot in Pasadena, Tx on 6/18/23. We were helped by a nice lady a few days back in selecting the items we were going to purchase in the near future and she took the liberty of printing out the specs to give to our contractors. We misplaced the print outs she gave us so we came back to the store in hopes of printing out the specs again. We were met by a grumpy man named Fred who works in the countertop department. He was reluctant to help us as he needed the model number to look up the appliances, we said we didn't have the model number however we just came a few days ago and we remember the brand and model of the appliances we needed. He seemed annoyed and was rude to my mother when she asked questions. He was passive aggressive in the way he spoke to her. For example, she asked if the hood for our stove top was for an island and he didn't answer the question but pointed at the screen. We don't know if it's bc we're woman or bc we're mexican, but we left feeling bothered by the conversation. read more

This is my go to store. I go to Home Depot about once every two or three weeks. Tools, paint, wood, plumbing, garden, or even light bulbs. I've not had a problem finding it all in this store . The workers are always nice and knowledgeable or able to find out where something is. read more

I always like to start with the positive, the cashier Maria that checked me out in the garden Dept was sweet and super pleasant. The store was really busy and she was still positive and friendly on this Sunday afternoon......from there not so much. I bought several bags of mulch and garden soil so I paid inside and the drove around to have it loaded, from the second I walked out and told this young man I would be right in with the truck to have it loaded he was unpleasant. I pulled up and gave him the receipt and he went to work, at one point he had me move to the other side to get the garden soil and during that time he yelled at someone inside, "I need some freaking help out here" so at this point I think to myself that this probably explains his attitude, maybe he is just having a bad day. I had already planned on tipping him since he was doing all the manual labor for me and when he was done he walks over and says he needs to see the receipt to initial it, so I give it to him, he does his thing and THEN I hand him the money and he looks at it and takes it and walks away. Rant #1 So in the midst of all this Corona BS my washer decides to not wash properly. So with the shortened hours of operation I spend a couple days looking at new W&D at Lowes &Home Depot. I finally decide on a GE set, was gonna get it at lowes because they were the most helpful and not gonna lie they give an additional 5 % off. Every little bit helps. Right?. But unfortunately they say 3-4 weeks. Not gonna work. So I go across the street to the Depot they say the same set can be delivered on Friday or Saturday of that week. Great!!!. Right. So The sales lady rings it up. I present a 10% off coupon I got in mail. Oh I am sorry we cannot stack discounts what do you mean this was sent to me. Well we are already offering 10% off. Okay fine. So she tells me make sure when they deliver that there is no damage. Small scratches non visible take pics and contact us we will assess and probably give small discount gashes or other major stuff refuse delivery. Oh and wash as much as you can to make sure you are happy with it. Okay great!. It gets delivered we hook it up wash a couple loads not thrilled but maybe need to get used to it , it is a top load HE have not had one in a while. So two weeks in not thrilled some stuff not getting clean. Go to Home Depot to see about exchanging. SORRY NO REFUNDS NO EXCHANGES ON MAJORS. I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS. If you look for a bad service word in the dictionary is going to appear the picture of this store,there's no body to help you lo load you truck and if it is someone will take forever to help you, if you ask to someone to bring down something with the fork lift will take forever to do all the security protocol and take like 5 people just to do 5 minutes job, also I forgot to mention that time ago I went to this store to purchase 65 sheets of plywood and I ask for help and I waited like 45 minutes and nothing happened, so I went to get a little carry cart and I loaded my self in 10 minutes, people who knows how heavy is the sheets of plywood will understand me clearly, so if you need help loading something heavy or trying to found something this is no the store for you or good luck if someone helps you read more

We went in because my husband was called in to get a refund on our account. He was being assisted by a lady named Ronnie she was very rude not just verbally but body language. She spoke to my husband as he was an idiot stating that her system didn't show any refund. My husband ask her for a manager three times and she kept pointing to her screen moving her hand and stating see her it doesn't specify what the refund is for you just need to come and speak to the person that called you. He then told her I received a call and the note was there that he would be in for the credit. When he ask again for a manager she stated he's going to see what I see on the screen. At this point I reached my limit and told her to call her supervisor she was ask three times to do it and we shouldn't have to come back to speak to another person. She picked up the phone called and as soon as the manager came she pointed to the screen and stated to her manager I told them already there's no refund. Her manager stated to her it's right here you click and go to the next screen. He was polite and told us to have a great night. She on the other hand process refund with her attitude and didn't apologize. When I address she needed to learn customer service and should apologize to my husband for making him wait for no reason she rolled her eyes and acted like she didn't hear me. Poor customer service!! This is the absolute worst Home Depot in the Houston & Galveston Texas area. I purchased a refrigerator from them in March 2020 for my new home and it was damaged, they didn't send a replacement until April 14, 2020. It was also banged up and the delivery men were the same ones who delivered the first refrigerator & they were rude and did not want to remove any of the inside packing material or the outside plastic wrap. When I asked them to please remove the packing material, it seemed to make them angry and they rolled their eyes and began yanking it out of the inside and then yanking the plastic off on the outside. The plastic on the outside still remains on the sides and corners and creases & anywhere there is a place where two places join together. I cannot get it out or off. It looks terrible. Also, this Samsung refrigerator literally drips water down into the insulation of the doors & panels & drips so much water that it creates mounds of ice in the bottom freezer. This Samsung refrigerator also makes a very loud rattling noise and Samsung warranty wants to send a company called VIDEO REPAIR to service it and they do not specialize in repairing refrigerators. Also, they are rated poorly on Yelp and BBB. I will never buy another appliance from the Pasadena Home Depot. Maybe dirt, that is about it. So, this rating reflects poorly on Pasadena Tx Home Depot, Samsung Corp and Video Repair. I will post ratings for Samsung and Video Repair soon. read more

My wife ordered a husky toolbox for me for Father's Day. It was priced right at around 450 dollars. She went today to go pick it up from Home Depot and bring it home since she said that they would load it for her. My wife is about 7 months pregnant and it's 100 degrees outside. She calls me asking how to secure the truck bed cover on my truck and mentions that she is trying to get the straps secured on the tool box in the back of the parking lot. I asked her why she was having to do it and she said that the associate that loaded the box into the truck said he didn't know how to do it and proceeded to tell her to "just drive carefully". This tool box was positioned setting upright and tall in the bed. I immediately called Home Depot and spoke to a manager and told her what the circumstances were. She immediately took the sales associate outside and they strapped it in and credited us $100 off the purchase (thank you). My wife gets home with the tool box and I find that the tool box is damaged. Crushed on top and side corners of both pieces as well as the first drawer is completely broken off the tracks. I called again and was told to bring it back. Upon arriving at customer service, I was recognized by a sales associate as "the guy who's pregnant wife bought the tool box". The sales associate then proceeds to tell me that he had mentioned to his manager that the tool box was broken before it was loaded into my truck, and was told by the manager to deliver it anyway in that condition. Another manager was called up and I explained to him that at $450 dollars I expect an undamaged product and that the sales associate was overruled when he was looking out for me reporting the damaged product. The manager then proceeds to tell me that "the sales associate that told me what happened has been talked to about making those statements", and "that's not how we do business". Absolutely not the way it should've been handled. The sales associate was doing his customer service duty and got in trouble. I hope the manager that authorized the delivery of the damaged product gets dealt with. Ultimately they replaced it with an undamaged product. Thank you to those who tried to make it right. Shame to those who tried to short hand me and my wife. read more

Wish I could rate zero stars. I was sold a pallet of 380 used cedar pickets (nail holes, foot prints, etc.). I initially salvaged 80 pickets (20%) and sent the rest back. Well I say sent, I of course had to spend my time and gas to return the bad pickets. I had tried calling the manager to claim that I thought it would be right when a customer spends $2000 on materials and almost half of it in cost is bad that the store should deliver good material and pick up the poor material. I guess that was too much to ask but in the end I figured oh well, I'll just have to get over it. So I returned the pickets and the customer service rep seemed stunned that I had to return that many pickets. I recognized the manager due to their name tag behind the sales rep who I had previously spoken with twice that day on the phone about the situation and they looked at me and walked off. Anyways, so I go and "I" unload all 300 pickets out of my truck, I go handpick 300 pickets so that I could ensure that I could finish the job ASAP, and then "I" load all of the pickets back into my truck by hand. At this point I wasn't happy in the slightest and had decided that officially all of my business would be going to Lowe's and if there was anything Lowe's didnt have that I needed then I would find it elsewhere. Once I arrived home I realized that the original 80 pickets I had kept were sub par compared to the 300 I had just grabbed so I went through those and decided that I should take 55 of those back. I just tried to do so but failed. I get there and figured I would go ahead and pick out the 55 pickets i wanted and then complete the exchange. I go through what I know is a bad rack of pickets and ask an employee if I could get a fresh pallet. They laughed "you have to go through what's there before I can do that." I replied "I'm sorry I was just looking through them for the past 5 minutes and only found 5 that weren't broken. I need 55." Being that there were only about 55 there to begin with I thought that would hand an effect but it didn't. I go ask another employee and they gladly say, "yes sir, let me drop this pallet of concrete and I'll go get a fresh pallet." I thought "great, I'll get out of here in 15-20 minutes and get home to put these up before dark." I sat there for over an hour! The forklift went outside, I watched the employees hangout while the one I had just talked to unloaded the concrete as fast as they could. Once that was unloaded I heard the garage door open for the forklift to come back in, it shut and then no one was to be found. I saw three other customers sitting down on their carts waiting for help. I decided to go to the front to complete my return while I waited on the pallet to be brought out. Those lines were so backed up I left. In total I spent 3 hours for nothing. I am now sitting in my driveway at home typing this with the bad pickets still in the bed of my truck. I leave to go out of town this week and the fence is still not completed. If the fence is not finished then I'll have to board my dogs which will be money out of my pocket. This is outright ridiculous and if or whenthis transaction is completed I will never step foot back in Home Depot. Sorry I almost forgot. I needed a few more materials during the job so I went to Lowe's. I got the lumber I needed there but decided to get the concrete at Home Depot since I already knew the consistency of that brand. I grabbed 21 bags of concrete. An employee was 2 bays down and was seated down playing on their phone while I loaded all 21 bags on a cart, and then I loaded all 21 bags in my truck. I bought just a small amount of lumber at Lowe's and the cashier asked me multiple times if I wanted help loading it in my truck. Clearly better service at Lowe's. I really didn't mind loading the concrete but it's the principle of the matter. read more

Home Depot's service after the sale has a lot to be desired. After making a counter top purchase from the Home Depot in Pasadena TX, I was left to fend for myself. I had to contact the store for the name and number of the third party installer, when I called the installer I was informed that I would have to contact the third party slab distributor to make an appt to view the slabs. After selecting the slabs we were told that they would be delivered within 2 days. After 6 business days and not hearing from the installer, I called them again and was told they would check on my order and call me back by COB with an update. No call back!! I call back 2 days later and they inform me that they received the slabs a couple days back and that they will contact me again for my installment date. Basically, I should have bypassed the big box store and taken my business to someone who would do all of the calling around and inform the customer of the install date. read more

Three major complaints about my 45 minute visit to this location. I decided to get 3 quarts of paint mixed while my husband gathered some supplies. There was a family and one man in front of me, and TWO women working. Let's say that this location has hired sub par employees who have zero customer service skills! I waited 23 minutes before I was even acknowledged and after I was acknowledged the lady couldn't spell anything I was asking her to look up so I had to spell it all out for her. She then decided to help another man who just walked up before printing out the labels for my mixes! She then went off to help the other woman remove some paint on her hands with paint thinner! All this time I'm standing there in awe of the disrespect. I told the woman I changed my mind about the finish before she even went to get the quarts and she rolled her eyes because she had to print out more labels... I then look at the time... I had been there 36 minutes already and had an appt to be at. I told her I ran out of time and to forget it and she had the nerve to say "well you changed the finish on me and I have to print more out!" I told her that's after me already waiting for over 20 minutes don't blame me lady! On top of that my husband told my son to hold his POOP till we got home because the bathrooms were a BIOHAZARD! i came into the store to return a duster that i had purchased, from the silverlake store. the young lady returned it to a store credit, which i didnt pay for it with a store credit, but i did not mind since i needed more stuff from there anyways. i found a drill that i liked but didnt buy it because i couldnt get help finding the attachments for it. i then picked up 6 door stoppers for my new house. i went to self checkout to pay for them with an egift card, and instantly the cashier says she cant take it. i mean i got this egift card from redeeming my Citibank Thank You points, and its for home depot. how can home depot not accept their own egift cards. it makes no sense!!! she called a supervisor over, i showed her my phone, and she said the same thing. i told her that the home depot in pearland takes them, with no issues. shes still refused to take it, before i could ask for another manager, she called "loss prevention." so now i am a crook, scammer, or theif?? i just wanted my door stops. eventually loss prevention told her that egift cards are okay to use. she turns to me and says is it a egift card?, in a very rude tone. i said "yes" and she said "show me" .... so at this point im thinking that she thinks i am lying to her, i showed her on my phone. then she said to the cashier that it was acceptable. how did this lady move up in position with an attitude like that? i didnt even get an apology for their own confusion. next time ill just redeem for a Lowes egift card then. read more
