After requesting an estimate thru Yelp, we were immediately contacted by Desert Pride's owner and then our Project Manager, Ruben Aceves. Ruben called to discuss our project and then came out to our home within a day. He was extremely polite and accommodating, yet unassumingly confident. He listened, asked some questions, made some very insightful recommendations, took some pictures and sent us a solid estimate as promised. Once we retained them, Ruben was our phenomenal daily point of contact. He worked with us closely to understand and meet our every wish. He came to the house every day and texted throughout the day to let us know who was coming, when and what to expect. Ruben was so knowledgeable and laid back that he gave us advice on things we were considering doing outside their scope of work. (i.e. new front doors thru Home Depot and some flooring thru a friend of a friend.) The project turned out more beautifully than we imagined. Everything was completed on time and there were no surprises on pricing or timeliness. Even when we changed our minds on some of the details, Ruben didn't flinch or hit us up with a change order. I can't promise that everyone will get such amazing treatment, because we're just one customer, but I'll never consider anyone other than Desert Pride for any future needs.

In addition I had new tile and mantle on my fireplace in the family room. My HVAC went out in the very beginning of renovation . Cold, cold days in January with no heat!! Steve was able to get me a super good price for the whole system. I decided to have vinyl fencing put up in my yard, again a very fair price. His estimate came after two other bids. Management was fair, honest and sincerely cared about our project (Rather small in the scheme of things!). We had ~1300 SQ FT of Concrete; New Aluminum Metal Roof with 1.75" Rigid Foam Insulation, on both our Manufactured Home and the roofs of our Carport and Patio Room too; Patio Room was enclosed with Solar Screening, ceiling fans added, and a 9' wide Roller Screen Panel; Carport was extended in length, and the West side was Solar Screened. (Both Carport and Patio Room were basically rebuilt.) I'll note that this was in the hot months of 2024. And so far we're seeing a 20-30% reduction of AC run time, per the Smart Thermostat, due to the roof and solar screening. I, we, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Westerner. Decades of experience was evident. Value? Many times in life, the rock bottom price for an item or project - turns out not to be a good investment. We feel we made a solid investment in our Foothills home, and that over the decades ahead, the higher quality of materials and cost of the skillset to do the job right - will pay dividends via smiles of usage.
