I did not expect him to install my charger on the wall, but he did. I asked about 20 different electricians to install my EV charger and they were all charging me 1500+. Paul, he only charged me $650. I think that is very reasonable, especially in this economy and the hard times people are facing. Also, he was nice enough that, when he showed me the first picture, there was miscommunication and the wrong plug was installed. My charger needed to be hard wired and a plug was installed instead. He only charged me a couple bucks more to change it out and I have no complaints. Thank you for your hard work and I hope your business continues to grow.

I called several times before I could reach someone. The lady on the phone apologized and stated that the field person (Larry) was busy on a call and could not reach out. Since then I have called and left a message requesting a call back. They are not answering their phones or returning calls. This type of service is completely unprofessional.

He installed new vanity lighting and another light in the master bathroom, house surge protector in the electrical panel, new GF-I w/cover on the patio, and he got my long-unused outdoor lighting system up and running again (changing out all the lights w/LEDs, running some new wire in one place, reconnecting a few fixtures in others and programming the timers). On top of all his good work is that the cost was very reasonable. You can't go wrong with Kevin!

We had our solar panels installed by SolarMax and our overall experience has been very positive…read more  From first contact to ongoing customer support, SolarMax has exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to have Ruben G. as our Account Manager.  Ruben was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable -- carefully listening to my questions and concerns and also sharing knowledge so I could better understand the phases of installation. Throughout the entire process - from design to permits, documentation to electrical requirements, we communicated with the various SolarMax team members to make sure we understood what the next steps would be. Every team member was courteous and competent, all of them did their part to complete our solar panel and battery project. We are happy with the service and expertise SolarMax has provided us and would recommend them to friends who are considering solar energy.  To Ruben - our renewed thanks!  We appreciate you for your work. To the entire SolarMax team - thank you for making this happen!

I don't like that I have to come to Yelp to get Solarmax to handle my concerns. It's really…read moreunfortunate. So I have 10 panels that arent' working, and a monitoring system that isn't working. I've been going back and forth with them for well over five weeks to get it resolved. They've said the company that manufactured my panels (apparently an in-house brand that is no longer operating) is out of business, so they've been "trying to secure panels with the proper wattage" for over a month. No update as of today. It's really frustrating that I have these problems, a warranty to cover it, and it's not being taken care of in a timely fashion. Between a pool, an EV and five humans in my house, those 10 panels do a lot of the work, and now I'm just eating the cost. I have expressed that I'm frustrated (especially because they never call me--I have to follow-up weekly to get them to talk to me), but it just seems like they care to do anything about it. It's just a "we're still waiting". Make some calls, secure the pipeline for the panels, and replace my panels, please. Next step if we cannot move forward in the coming week will be the better business bureau.
