I was gone for about a little over an hour & Kriston said they were just there. They put a new relief valve in & Charged me just under $400. I called to see If they got pricing for a new one, not yet. Week later I asked again the day before thanksgiving after I took the glass door off the pilot area to start the pilot light myself, as the striker didn't work. Kriston put her father on the phone & said I should have never did that because it was an enclosed system & I defiantly need a new one, & would get back on Monday with pricing. called a week later, no answer back. A week after that no answer. I found Lusk Plumbing & explained what happened. They said if anything that me removing the glass door would make it work better. I needed the new water heater anyway as it was corroded & wouldn't drain. Lusk plumbing gave me pricing over the phone & came out & did an excellent job putting a new one in the next day. However in the end, he didn't figure out why our pipes kept backing up. After having our pipes jetted and snaked twice everything backed again for the third time. We called on a Saturday, 3 weeks after having all the pipes cleared, and the house being vacant for those 3 weeks, everything had backed up again the day we arrived. Initially one of the owners (Amber) refused to send a technician unless we paid a $300 emergency fee to fix a problem they were already paid to fix. After some back and forth and me asking if they believe my family and I should go without showers, bathrooms or a sink for the weekend, she relented and sent the technician to our house. He snaked and jetted everything, it worked for a short period, then the next day it was backed up again. I resorted to my drywall contractor who quickly looked under the house to discover the 3 cleanouts that the plumber said didn't exist and immediately identified the problem. I don't typically like writing negative reviews but I paid for a professional service to fix a problem that never got fixed. The owner I spoke to (Amber) was not happy to deal with me and initially had no problem leaving us without proper plumbing for an entire weekend after her company serviced our home. Although the plumber was very nice and temporarily cleared the clogs he didn't know what more to do, even after looking underneath the house. Several people have told me that this company had lost a number of quality employees over the years due to disagreements with management. Whether that's true or not I can't attest to but after reviewing the other reviews on here it looks like most customers were very happy over a year ago. As of today I am not, and hope that Advanced Plumbing can return to the positive reputation they once had. I have since had the house re-piped and everything is working flawlessly. Yes, the drywall contractor re-piped everything in 2 days without issue because he took the time to look and figure out the root of the problem. I would've awarded the re-pipe job to Advanced Plumbing had they been more customer focused and technically proficient but that wasn't the case.
