Does NOT stand by their work. Do yourself a favor and contact the other Johnson company in town…read more Sonya refused to have Mike come back to review and repair what they did and by that I mean what they didn't actuality fix and made worse... she made excuses for lazy, shotty workmanship and told me to call someone else. The issue was a clogged condensation drain pipe which Mike decided wasn't worth checking when he was here. He said it "looked" fine so he didn't think it was the problem and didn't want to mess with it. IT WAS THE PROBLEM!!! After doing more research this morning, even AI said that that is one of the main things that should be checked if the customer complains of mold/mildew smell. So, that overpriced service was a total waste of time and money! Please make sure you are calling the right Johnson company. I didn't realize I had the wrong one on my last service request and now I suspect this company is coming up on good reviews off another company's good service just because of the name. Sad!

I broke down on the I10 while traveling back home from AZ. I was towed to this shop. They were…read morequick to get me back in the road, but unfortunately too quick. They were kind and willing to work on my car first thing in the morning. My spark plug was impacted some how. So he fixed the spark plug. 20 miles down the road I had the same sputtering issue. I somehow made it to O'reileys in Indio. I bought a new spark plug and tools to do myself. When I went to go take the boot off of the spark plug, I realize the screw had been completely stripped. Only reason I know that it was their mechanic, is I had just done the spark plugs myself 3 months ago. Now the boot will not tighten down. Because of the mechanic carelessly and quickly "fixing" the spark plug, he stripped a main part. I will now have to replace the entire top part of the engine to have that part fixed. As I am grateful for them getting me back on the road. I really wish they would have taken their time. Very unfortunate.

I've had a weird electrical problem with my car for over 6 months now. It simply wouldn't turn over. I took it to Pep Boys and they couldn't find anything wrong. I took it to the Honda dealership where I purchased the car, the mechanics there couldn't find anything wrong. It got to the point that I had to use a $170 jumpbox every time I had to start my car. Several hundred dollars later I finally thought to take it back to Dennis and get his opinion. Within 3 minutes Dennis Taylor found the the problem -- dirty terminal -- even though the terminals looked spotless. 5 minutes scrubbing it clean and getting everything screwed back together and I was off, good as new. He charged me nothing even though he easily could have. He said it just makes him happy to see someone "finally win one." He was just happy to see a persistent problem finally get resolved for someone. This is rare service from a mechanic. I couldn't recommend Dennis Taylor Automotive more.
