I told Jesse what was going on and he pointed and said, "the glue is over there" .... I had to give a black stare like WHERE?! There's a million things over there. I took my laptop to Data Doctors a few months ago because my AC Adapter was not working, my…read morecomputer would boot up with cord but the plug would not stay in, and it wasn't charging my laptop. Data Doctors took my computer and repaired the AC Adapter and ordered me a new battery, and charged me $307 including battery. Should mention that when I picked up my laptop at Data Doctor, I plugged it to make sure it would start up, the guy warned me to be careful with the Adapter... probably because it was not properly repaired to begin with. After two months the AC Adapter came out of my computer, I took my laptop back in for them to repair the AC Adapter and after having the laptop for a few days without any word. I call and they said they would not warranty the work because they claim the laptop was damaged by dropping it. Honestly my laptop had a minor dent on the bottom corner which happened a long time ago, but this was never the problem. The AC Adapter was not installed properly... or after two months I would not have had this problem. I ended up sending my Laptop into Dell and they fixed it as out warranty repair, my laptop is 5 years old. This process with Dell was very smooth and trustworthy. Dell repairs included the following repairs... repaired or replaced included AC Adapter/ cord replaced, keyboard replaced, Palm rest replaced, cables replaced, Main Logic Board repaired. After all this they ran a comprehensive hardware test to ensure proper functionality, which included a long list of testing ran but nothing noted. How much was the cost from Dell... $200 plus 30$ costs for shipping. Now my AC Adapter is secure so I'm confident it won't fall out again, If you want a trustworthy place it would not be Data Doctor, personally I feel this place is a scam to get you to purchase there memberships, which I opted out of.

He wrote our comprehensive estimate for pull-outs in all our kitchen cabinets as well as for our master bathroom vanities and our lower stop-n-drop cabinet. Scheduling was immediate; Steve, our installer did a fantastic job, including a challenging task of repairing the damaged metal track on one of our existing deep utility drawers, which we really needed and appreciated. Subsequently, we added another 9 feet of cabinetry in our kitchen, and of course we again hired Shelf Theory to not only add pull-outs to the new cabinets but also to convert all the existing doors and drawers to soft-close. We wanted to convert 1/2 of the new lower pantry-size cabinet to a "Utility" for storing our step ladder, and we knew that Chris would know just what to do. In fact, I insisted that Chris himself would handle this request, and he did not disappoint. Along with his trusty assistant, Craig, they expertly accomplished the modification as well as the complete conversion to soft-close in record time. We were amazed at how quickly they accomplished this work and how meticulously they were in precisely adjusting the tension for each soft-close. We could not be happier with the quality, value and superb workmanship we received from Chris and his team at Shelf Theory. And thank you very much for the Veteran discount, Chris. He spent so much time trying to find me a good deal (and we know that in business, time is money). I was so surprised at the price he was going to charge me that I insisted on maying 33% more (people that go above and beyond deserve to be fairly compensated). I know enough about the computer hardware business (having done it a bit in the 90s) that I can tell he has the highest ethical standards. For those that don't understand troubleshooting and technology, unethical folks could talk circles around clients to take advantage of them. Mark is 100% the opposite of this and is how we want everyone who does work for us to treat us - with integrity and at reasonable prices. Hopefully, in our work this is how we all treat our own clients and employers. If we want to see more good honest workmanship in the world, we need to recognize it when we see it and share it with others... as I am doing here.

Our first visit was on a Saturday morning and we went in to just take a look as we had no plans to remodel for another 18-24 months. We talked to Alec who answered all of our questions about how things work and schedule an appointment to come out and take measurements. We met with Alec once and Amy a few times fine tuning our design and choices. They were both professional and easy to work with. Although they offer a demo service, we needed to have some modifications done to our walls, which they do not offer, so we used our own demo guy. But we coordinated with Amy for her to come back out and do a final measure once the structural work was complete. We also changed the flooring so I had 3 contractors to schedule. Our cabinets came in on time and I was kept informed of delivery times and when to expect the installers and who would be coming. Everyone was on time and did a great job.
