I even asked a question about my order and received feedback quite quickly. The pick up process was do it yourself with your order number and than finding your plants. Easy to do and their are workers at the front to help or ask questions. Plus the quality of plants were fantastic and I am happy with my order!

The bushes are gone, but the space is crying for new items to display there, although I have now planted a few smaller items. Those wild rose bushes are impossible to find in the stores! Lowes has them planted in the parking lot, but none in the store. The staff doesn't even know what I'm asking for! At least I could show them... ... Which is more than I could say for Richmond Nursery. :-( There are no wild rose bushes in the nursery or nearby. They had a lot of other stuff which was ok, but not what I want. Mind you, the nursery is quite big, and the staff was helpful trying to find something that might be suitable. For me, the rose bushes they had on offer were nice, but were about $30.00 each, which is more than I want to pay when I'd need 4 or 5 to fill the space. So, I'm still looking...

My Wife bought a ZZ plant on the recommendation from an employee at Make it Green Garden Center as I was looking for a tropical plant for my Son's in-home office that would be low maintenance. After getting home She did some further research online and discovered that the ZZ Plant is toxic to Animals and Humans and since my Son has a Dog and a 6 Month old child there was no way we were going to give him a Plant that could be potential harmful ( or even deadly). The very next morning She brought the plant back to Make it Green Garden Center (with the receipt) and explained that she discovered that the plant was toxic and could be potentially deadly to our Son's Dog or Even worse it could harm our 6 month old Grand daughter . She further went on to explain that She did not want a refund but just wanted to exchange it for something else that would not be toxic to dogs or humans She was absolutely appalled when she was told they would not exchange the plant as their return policy states no returns on Annual Plants, she explained to the owner that it was NOT an Annual Plant but rather a Tropical Plant... the Owner's reply was "they are the same thing so no returns allowed" Annuals and Tropicals are NOT THE SAME THING, not by a long shot... Annuals die each year and Tropicals live forever... So when she explained this to him his reply changed to "well you bought it on sale so no return on sale items" Once again she was floored at Just how Very poor this Guys customer service was... she went on to say "Yes she did buy it on sale, however she was not told that the plant was toxic to dogs and people, and all she wanted was to exchange it" I am still in shock at his reply which was... "You Should Have Asked If It Was Toxic" Whaaaaatttttt Is this Guy for real?.... the friggin arrogance! Any way the bottom line is they did not allow her to exchnge it so she ended up leaving the plant on their counter and walked out with nothing. We will NEVER, EVER set foot in their garden center again and I advise others to do yourselves a favor and spend your money elsewhere where customers are treated with respect. This company is interested in nothing more than your money... Period! But the irony here is that this plant was only worth $6.00, however they have lost several hundreds of dollars of our business as my wife is a gardener and we spend a great deal of money every Spring on Plants and supplies, none of which "Make it Green Garden Center" will ever see again. So in the end THEY ARE THE LOSERS in this deal!

I was looking for a last minute bouquet for my mom and this was closest to Kanata, right at the corner of Hazeldean and Castlefrank. The florist asked us for our budget and I requested my usual $30. However, I didn't get what I usually got for that price. The bouquet was loaded and the color combo was phenomenal! Her arrangement was precise, pristine and flowers were great quality. The florist explained everything she was doing and asked if we liked it or wanted anything changed. Service is phenomenal and amazing value!

we purchased clean sand for our above ground pool and was very disappointed when we found several…read morelarge to small rocks in it. we pulled them out but now since the water is now in the pool some rocks are protruding, we found four more and some very sharp. we have to remove the water and pull back the liner to remove the rocks. I'm very disappointed, this will cost us a few hundred dollars since we have to purchase more water. after complain to the company all they said was it's not their fault it's where they buy their sand. Thanks for taking responsibility for this!!!!

I have 6, floor to ceiling windows to cover and this place was a lifesaver for curtain rod needs as well as curtain selections. Including the black out ones I like and the faux linen ones. There is always fun, seasonal items and parking is always plentiful. I really like the location. I don't buy clothes here but there are a few cute things to look at. You are forced to actually, as the store leads you through the clothing to get to anything else. But, shopping for bargains is a thing of the past and upon moving back from the US, I was sticker shocked.
