Asked 3 workers and all pointed me in different aisles. Which at this point I had been walking around in circles. Larry, even though he was in lumber, took the time out and walked me to the right aisle to get a Husky lamp. He needed to get ladder and pull my item down which took him away from his duties. He then walked me to where the headlamps are and patiently helped me search for headlamps on the ladder as well. He never let me feel rushed or was a bother. Thank you Harry! read more

While the products are what's expected, the curbside service is unreliable at best. Over the past 5 years I've used the curbside service 3 times. Yes, I follow the directions on the app. Only once out of those 3 times did I'd receive my items outside. The two others, I had to go in to customer service and get them. Today was one of those times. Waited 10 minutes. No one. Another customer was waiting as well, so only two cars. I normally go in, but today I had my elderly mother, so curbside was more practical, but nevertheless I had to go in to get my one thing. Worst Home Depot ever. Save yourself time and stress, go to Lowe's or anywhere else. Ordered a fridge from here in November, they delivered to the wrong Home Depot who knows where so they ordered another one. Throughout these months, I had to call 4x to get an answer end of February. Finally supposed to arrive now almost April but they have the wrong address day of delivery after I confirmed with them the address 2 weeks prior, still incorrect. They won't deliver same day due to their mistake so we have to reschedule for another day after I took a day off waiting for delivery. The worst part is there is NO communication or follow up to let me know my order was sent somewhere else. I had to call multiple times. No one called me day of delivery to confirm delivery time or address. Real idiots running the show. I have always depended on Home Depot on the mainland but this one is horrible. When you want something such as a tool or a camera on anything locked up it takes forever to get an associate over to give it to u and there's plenty walking around. I waited almost 30 mins and went up and asked twice for an associate and I was told 1 is on the way. read more

Hands down the best service at a home depot we've ever had time and again. We live on the mainland but own a property in Maui and have been fixing it up these past few months. Every time we go into Home Depot the employees are super helpful from the gentleman who helped us find the right saw to rent last month to just now when Ruben in lumber went above and beyond to help us find the right product get it cut and provide a discount when we picked a damaged piece. Even escorted us to the front of the store. What an amazing place to shop while we're stressed out with renovations. So grateful for the aloha spirit here. read more

This review is long overdue. Customer service is always fantastic when I shop here. A little while back, I was trying to find a particular tool for my mister and the young man that helped me provided excellent customer service. I held off and went to Lowe's to check on that same tool but had a horrible experience. I was happy to drive back to Home Depot and make my purchase there along with many other items at Home Depot. Ill do my shopping at Home Depot or Ace from now on and if Lowe's has the same item cheaper, Home Depot will price match. Awesome. Check them out. read more

The self checkout at Home Depot is hilariously infuriating. It's self check out right? So why do you have to tell the seven employees that sprint at you as you're walking up to check out that you have the plague in order for them to leave you alone and let you check out your own stuff? Isn't that the point of self check out, to ring yourself up because you don't wanna deal with anyone? and then, if you ask them to beg the stuff for you, they look at you like you just punted a kitten. Went in on a Tuesday to "THE HOME DEPIT and saw the same salesperson who is a great guy (not mad at him at all). We say we are looking for a freezer. The salesperson finds one in stock and goes back to tag it for us. Comes back and we finalize the purchase with all the bells and whistles. (A microwave was purchased as well). DELIVERY was set for Thursday just two days away. Bought and paid for by me, no glitches in the system all was great. On DELIVERY day the salesperson calls and said he can't find the freezer. We told the salesperson the delivery company called and were on the way. The freezer never makes it to us. "SOMEONE ON THE MORNING OF DELIVERY CANCELLED MY PURCHASE AND LET SOMEONE WALK OUT WITH MY FREEZER." Well has to be a member of management that STOLE MY FREEZER AND SOLD IT (or who knows maybe the person was willing to pay more to the pocket of management). If I can give ZERO stars I would. I did a remodel on my place so I opened an account and gave my email. Now I keep getting emails from Home Depot that WONT let me UNSUBSCRIBE. Not only that but they sold my email so I get a bunch of other emails from other companies. How do I know? They are the same at the bottom of the email. It says UNSUBSCRIBE but when you click on it, it just takes you to their website. With each an every email I get from Home Depot and other sites they sold my email to, it makes me hate Home Depot all the more. You are crap! read more

This store has been around for over fifteen years and has started to show its age on the outside. The parking lot needs some work and daily cleaning. In the interior, the Company has invested money in upgrading their checkout lines and cashiering stations to keep up with the times. While I can't always find everything I need for home repairs and improvements, they carry reasonably priced items for gardening, bathroom repairs, and other household needs. They are usually open on national holidays when I have the time to work on my to do list, like the 4th of July. Today, I found wall mount LG air conditioners on sale at good prices. Last summer, we replaced our refrigerator when it was on sale. read more

We are just starting to look at tile ideas and kitchen cabinets for a new house. Might as well start here. So they have some floor ideas by the rolls of rugs. And you might think, that's all. We did. But when we looked at the kitchen cabinet set ups There were ten times more floor samples. So we did get our ideas started. And we looked at refers, the samples are 80 per cent Stainless. I was hoping for more. It takes a lot of wiping to keep Stainless nice. Too many finger prints. I like the results. We re not settled on that part yet. No one spoke to us or asked if we had questions. We looked for about an hour, opening doors and moving samples around. Just my observation, we weren't there to decide, just look. Awful customer service. Stores open at 6am. Waiting at the Customer Service counter behind another customer to return items. An employee walks by, says he'll get 'someone' to help us people waiting in line. The gentleman in front ends up leaving, he has to get to work. A female employee SAUNTERS over 10 minutes later. No "thank you for waiting" etc. Nothing. HD employee looks at us. We look at her. HD employee sticks out her hand. We hand over the items we are returning. HD employee completes return transaction, hands us the receipt. This is a typical interaction we've had with Home Depot Customer Service in the morning hours when they first open their doors. We can say it does get better in the afternoon. Once the morning employees leave it appears. Unfortunate for us, as we like to get things done in the morning. read more

I'm glad there are Home Depot stores all over the Hawaiian islands. They have stores on - Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Hilo, & Kona! I can't tell you how many times when I needed something (last minute), and Home Depot was always around so I could get what I needed to finish up a job! The Home Depot on Maui is just next door to Walmart, the parking lot is not as big as the other Home Depot's I've been to, but at least I was able to find parking quickly. Sickening, my wife purchased an American Standard Sunday since her mom's tank cracked on her present toilet. I took the toilet out from the back of our SUV on Sunday night. We had a handyman coming at Monday at 10 to my Mother-in-laws condo. Upon removing the toilet it was determined, by everyone, to have been used and repackaged. Used, to the extent that there were "poop stains on the bowl". How disgusting!!!! Howzit Maui, To all who take the gime to read these compliments or complaints...here is my experience. As a Maui boy and part of this Maui community, I am bummed to know the Home Depot simply doesn't have enough staff to answer their phones. I've spent "my time" trying to call and order something, but none of the departments or "next available agent" phone line ever gets picked up. Maybe due to coronies, they can't employ many people in Maui anymore, but that shouldn't be a reason why they don't answer their phones for their community consumers. I've professionally complained for a couple year's now, and looks like they still can't get their phones answered. This tells me that the CEO and head manager of home depot doesn't take their communities complaints seriously, cuz if they did, we wouldn't be "raiting" them on the low side of customer service on a "Yelp review" ....and for anyone, like myself to take the time to complain on here, it must be a big deal....cuz I got choke other things I could be doing...but I needed help, they didn't answer their phone, and I will post a "screenshot" of how much time I lost out of my life, waiting for them to answer. She was snappy and rude with me when i asked her about my order like i should not be asking about my sink i ordered . Then went and walked away to get a drink from the cooler and complain to co worker . Then after waiting ... she came back and ignored me . When I came around the desk to help her on the computer I realized she was looking and checking her Facebook instead of helping me. After basically doing the work myself on the computer at the pro desk she called somebody and found out my order was gonna be delivered by what she said to be THX I repeated THX to her multiple times as I couldn't find any delivery company name THX. Turns out the real name of the company is Dhx. When I figured it out and explain to her the name of the company they might be DHX she got very aggressive and confrontational. Went in there to inquire about a utility trailer around 6 pm. Customer service was trying to get a manager out on the floor to help us but manager wasn't willing to talk with us in person. Customer service gave us the phone and we had to ask questions regarding the trailer over the phone which wasnt any help because all he said was to look on the home depot website. 2 stars for bad service!!!! read more

Having lived here on Maui since before any Big Box stores we can really appreciate the ease and convenience of having this type of shopping available. You can usually find most everything you're looking for, and there is a lot of selection. I like that you can bring in your small dog on a leash and nobody minds. There's plenty of parking and you can get your exercise shopping here if you have a long list. read more

Unfortunately there was not one in stock, but she found out that they were on order were supposed to be in store days ago. She will call us when they come in.
