Miserable store with employees that have no idea what they're doing. Will steal your money. 1. Few years ago they were incapable of properly replacing stairs, used mismatched pieces and refused to offer refund or credit. 2. Recently ordered a new washer and after 2 attempts they failed to install it. A) First attempt they realized the washer was damaged. B) second time the installers claimed they were unable to remove the hose and said we had to call a "real plumber" - what a joke. Washer was returned. I'm just a little disappointed with my most recent shopping trip at this location. I went to return a piece of trim which that portion went fine. However, I went to get another piece of trim and which the app confirmed they had at least 12 pieces in stock. They had zero. I get inventory can be wrong. However, when my wife went up to go talk to two employees to inquire if they might have had some in a different location the employees saw her coming turned their backs and walked in a different direction. I left and went to another location and had a Lowe's been more convenient I would have gone there instead. I get that our current culture is moving away from face to face interactions but if you work at a retail store you are bound to have to talk to someone. Second horrible experience with a home improvement project, but I'm somewhat to blame as I just should have looked elsewhere instead of putting up with sheer ineptitude. Getting someone to answer the phone is like asking someone for their vital organs. It shouldn't be this hard. I called 6 times, 3 of which I was hung up on - see attached picture of my call log. No one showed up for my measurement appointment today. I had to call 6 times to get the direct line for the company in Michigan which facilitates the measurement appointments. I finally got someone who cared enough to be empathetic and apologize on behalf of Home Depot. Can't you just hire some extra people to answer the phone in the departments you plan to spend thousands of dollars? Why is customer service a thing of the past? Its a Home Depot, so an integral part of the local retail firmament. The folks more or less leave you alone and you go get the stuff you need. Not a particularly well or poorly sticked example of the chain, but they have the things. The outdoor store has a sufficient supply of plants and pavers and mulch. Staff at checkout is friendly, and always help you get your military discount on if that is your thing. If it wasn't here someone would have to build it. In the 3+ years I've been coming here there are two things that are very consistent. 1. The saw that cuts wood so it can fit in your car or truck is never working. Maybe once in 3 years it was working. It was either always out of service or the saw guy called out again. Can Home Depot maybe afford a back up saw? Maybe train more people? 2. The one aisle you need to go down is very likely going to be fenced off. You would think you would see workers doing something, but nobody is even in sight. Last night one of your sales staff brought back my confidence in shopping at Home Depot ..if there is a recognition program please recognize "FERRELL" I decided to take on a small project with no knowledge of how to DIY.. After getting frustrated with others not helping me .. I walked down the aisle and he was there "can I help you ?" Not only did he help me ... he didn't say ..go to aisle 19 ... he led me there and then proceeded to ask me about my project ... he actually spent time with me explaining how to do it and what materials I would need... Etc etc .. He was delightful, polite and concerned about this 80 year old lady taking on this challenge but he politely said .. "I think based on what I see you can do it !!" Great confidence booster . . Thank you and thank him!!! Please make sure he knows how much I appreciated the help !!! I frequent the Home Depot in Jupiter Fl. I went today Thursday June 25th and the Home Depot Employee that was serving us did not wear a mask. and stood 3 feet away. We moved back & he moved forward. Another had a mask over his mouth, but down below his nose. Another was speaking to a customer only 3 feet away with his mask around his neck. I know that here in Palm Beach County masks are now mandatory as of today. Being a high risk myself, my son is very high risk with an autoimmune disease and my mother is 95 years old, whom I help take care of. I doubt if I will be visiting this store in the near future unless I know that I am not subjected by employees or customers who refuse to take precautions. read more

Went to this store on Sunday, Labor Day Weekend. The store was clean and well prepared for prevention of virus spread. Besides picking up light bulbs, which were well laid out, I had come to solve a small unusual problem. As I was about to give up on resolving the problem, a store employee named Glen came up and asked if I needed help. I told him of my issue and he knew exactly what could be done and escorted me to the aisle for the item needed and then back to show how to work the fix. This was not a standard fix and required creative thinking. The checkout person was efficient and friendly. I could not ask for better customer service. My dryer has been broken (1) time each month since August (doesn't include prior service calls through the year(s) since purchase). Very poor service. Recently in the market to spend $5,000 dollars in home carpeting . The two employees in the flooring department were sitting at their desks. One was engaged with a customer , the other sat at her desk on the phone talking . We waited patiently there for 15 minutes and finally one employee asks us " Fo you need help?" The employee did not know her products and was quite rude. I advise anyone looking for any home services , you won't get customer service or helpful info at this location. I complained to the manager; he said he can't force workers to wears masks because local laws say it's voluntary. Really? Does he let them wear flip-flops on the job? Sanitizing here is an issue. Used self checkout and asked employee if station gets sanitized and she said maybe between every third customer. Honestly I saw no indication that that was even happening. She had nothing on her or around her to indicate that sanitation was a priority. Even a container of hand sanitizer at the individual station would have been helpful. read more

A man i believe was named domanic (hard to tell he mumble so much) hung on me three times today 3/20 when I called to inquire about the status of an order. The man also frequently cut me off to talk to other people around him. I spent 15 minutes on the phone with him the first time before i asked to speak with someone else which resulted in me being hung up on. I called back and got the same guy so i asked to speak with someone else and was hung up on a second time. I called back a third time only for him to hear my voice and hang on me instantly. Finally, I got a different guy named matt who transferred me to a manager who didn't seem to care i was just hung up on three times. He did however answer my question but I'm furious I was hung up on so many times and management did nothing to address it. read more

Shoppers beware!! Home Depot will allow people to vandalize your car and not take any liability, or help you whatsoever! I bought a 2020 Tacoma and had it for 5 days, and upon leaving Home Depot someone scratched the tailgate of my truck. I was very upset and didn't know what to do so I went inside and requested a store manager, who seemed like he wanted to assist me and filed a claim. I asked if I should file a police report and they told me that I did not need to and he already had sent my claim off. Few days later I got a call basically saying it's not Home Depot's problem and a police matter. I spend roughly $18,000 a year at Home Depot's all throughout South Florida only to be treated as if I'm a nobody. I will take care of the vandalism myself, as Home Depot says: I can do it but, the only difference here is that they definitely dont want to help. I'm very disappointed in the service I was given, and their response to the incident. I will be paying off my Home Depot credit card in full over the next few weeks and will take my business elsewhere. Somewhere that isn't willing to throw away 10 years or more of good business over an act of vandalism that occured on a customers vehicle in their parking lot. What a disappointment. If you dont have a front and rear dash cam or dont care about your vehicle being vandalized then feel free to shop at this store, they will treat you like a dollar sign and do nothing to help you. This store is no exception: the sales help are always so friendly and helpful. Ask for the location of something and they will walk you to the spot. The paint department people suck at their jobs. A bunch of people that couldn't get into college. They spilled paint all over themselves are not knowledgeable about any of the paints. I had to argue with them to do a simple color match. I walked up and the tall idiot William says we're all out of everything and kept saying it over and over all serious and then proceeded to mix my sample in the wrong kind of paint and then wanted to argue that he didn't do it wrong. This Home Depot like most Home Depots is a hit or miss. Someday's 10 people will ask you if you need help and somedays there is not a soul in sight. Most of the time these people don't know much about what you need to know. This store is better than some, but there are a few people that work there that just should not work with people. We have had quite a few run ins with staff members being very rude, walk off and never come back, or just give us really bad information. It helps to remember these workers are getting paid minimum wage and are not professionals. I just wish they would train the employees better especially in how to treat customers! read more
