The worker then said, "Sorry, we cant make any samples unless you come into the store." I then said, "Can you check to see if I have an account?" It turned out that I did have an account with Regal. The worker then replied, "Well, your account hasn't been used in awhile. We can only pre-mix samples for people we know." I guess I'll just buy from someone who wants to make sales to customers they don't know personally.

We needed two quarts - maybe, maybe more. Cost about $23/quart (????). He explained to her that if we got a gallon, it's about half the cost of 4 individual quarts. He started mixing the one quart, then my wife called and asked if 2 was enough because if we had to come back for more, could end up costing double. I told her to get the gallon. The worker informed her that since he had already made a quart - we couldn't get the gallon, that we'd have to pay for the quarts we needed, at the per-quart price (double-double, no contractor paint, pay by quart). I got on the phone - asked him if he'd pour the quart into a gallon container, and then mix up the rest to make a gallon. He said - "can't do that." I asked why. He didn't have an answer. I got irritated and said that I felt like i was being screwed, and by pouring the paint into a gallon can, all he was "out" was the cost of an empty quart can. What's the problem? he hung up on me. Little things like this can be figured out - if one wants to - or cares. Or all stores can adopt the - sorry - ha ha, got you - attitude, like most do. UPDATE: Worker gave wife a $12 discount. That helped. But I guess, I had to criticize him to get it......who wants to deal with that?

The color I need is somewhat white color visually since the property is already 4 years old. The paint chip I brought to the store may be somewhat looking like dirty white due to weather or hot temperatures. The lady who is also the store manager by the way seems to be very helpful at first and tried to look into my home builder paint records. She took the paint chip and said it's dirty to determine the exact color but she said she found 3 of 4 colors my property exterior paint the builder used. She just arbitrary determine my paint chip is not white but light blue. Since I trusted her as a paint specialist as the paint knowledge I went with her recommended paint color. I was so wrong not trust my own instinct but following the paint store manager recommendation. I founded few days later that the paint the sherwin Williams store manager lady recommended is complete wrong color and it's actually same as the other color on the exterior wall. We went back to the store to ask her why she sold us the wrong paint. She was very rude and never say apology about her wrongful recommendation on the paint color judgements to customers. What a shame to Sherwin-Williams paint brand! When I purchased the correct color paint, She even intentionally jack up the paint price to $35.69 from the correct price of $33.49. She only correct it back to correct price after I pointed out to her the store shelf price label. She then said that you only save 2$. I said that is the principle to conduct a good and honorable business. She should be shamed about herself and brought bad reputation to Sherwin-Williams paint.

There is also a set of booklets to give you color combination ideas to work with. Unlike the Big Depot... which just has color-chips out on display which are the 'trendy' or 'popular'... our good friend Moore has a HUGH collection of colors, all properly organized by hue and intensity. Much easier to find a complement, or analog. This is a NO-PRESSURE environment, and they will mix everything to order right on the spot. Need delivery? They can handle that too? Need advise on how long to wait after wet stucco work? They have the answer and the right products to use, so your paint does not peel off after a weekend of hard work. This is the first and last place to go for paint.

Poor costumer service and sick plants have changed my mind about Giverny Gardens…read more I moved here about 2 years ago and have used this nursery for all my soil and potting needs. I don't often buy full-grown plants, but decided to treat myself to a cute English ivy. I brought it home, kept it isolated while it adapted to my place, and within two days the plant was teeming with spider mites. I threw it out and figured it happens sometimes, but went back to Giverny about a month later to buy the same plant along with some other goods. Again, I kept it quarantined from my other plants and, again, spider mites erupted within days. Before tossing the plant, I called Giverny to explain this English ivy issue and asked if I could get a refund or store credit. The woman on the phone was curt and rude, telling me that my home was the source of the problem and she would not issue a refund or credit of any kind. I reemphasized to her that both times I brought home a plant from her store, I kept it isolated from my indoor plants. Heck, the last time I dealt with this infection was years before I moved to Florida! But she said it wasn't possible it was Giverny's fault, blamed my home AGAIN, and that she wouldn't remedy anything. It's just dumb considering I've spent probably $500+ at this store over 2 years and she went on the offensive over a $10 plant. It's a headache dealing with spider mites, and it was ridiculous she wouldn't oblige me for a disease her store sent home with my plant. Nurseries get infections--I've been gardening for 11+ years and seen some gnarly places. As beautiful as the plants at Giverny look, I doubt I'm the first person to buy an infected plant from them. Hopefully the woman I spoke with reads this settles down and learns how to communicate with wronged customers--especially loyal ones. I've been shopping at Amelia's Smartyplants since and highly recommend.
