But finally I did my service Pro was a gentleman named Ntanzi and he was above and beyond and honest with me. He was patient at my inability to pick from such a wide variety. I had a blast at this store! This was my first time visiting a Floor & Decor, and the Riviera Beach location did not disappoint. I have never been to this particular area; tucked behind 95 in an industrial zone, we passed an adult bookstore and an rv lot in a poorly lit, very dark area, and I felt a little nervous- but trusty google maps directed us correctly to the very large parking lot and huge warehouse/store. As my husband and I entered the building, I realized that this huge store would allow us lots of time to peruse and browse, as we faced many rows of materials. We asked a helpful store associate where we could find what we were looking for: vinyl flooring. We found our section easily and stared at a beautiful large display of different samples of the kind of flooring we wanted: waterproof. An employee walked by and we stopped him so that we could find out more info. He told us that the display we were looking at was very old, with none of those pieces in stock at all. He advised us to look for the boxes behind each display to know what amount of flooring was currently in stock. This info was invaluable and narrowed our search down tremendously. Even with these limitations, Floor & Decor still had a ton of options. It was fairly easy to narrow down our choices based on availability and price, denoted with easy to read signs. There were lots of affordable options and several on clearance or on sale. I could not tell the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive, so I was just going by looks alone. In less than 30 minutes, we had looked at every sample, picked out our top 5, taken pictures, and sent everything to our contractor, who purchased our top choice directly from this store in a matter of days. As we were leaving, we took a detour to another aisle, and immediately became engrossed in all the beautiful tile displays. Seeing marble, granite, stone, and other materials up close was surreal and rather beautiful. At the front of the store, we found lot of already-built demo pieces, with beautiful little vignettes of stylish decor and floor and backsplash and everything all tied together. I was wowed by some of the designs and contrasts of materials. I am so used to seeing the same backsplashes and tiles that I really had no idea so many options existed. I would return to this store in a heartbeat the next time I need flooring, which hopefully is not for a very long time! Not a bad date night either LOL. read more

Berto and the floor sales people were super helpful but wow the guys and gal working at the pro desk don't ever want to help, and are rude and condescending. The worst part is that apparently some of them are even managers! You can definitely tell this company is broken at the top. They sold me 2 bags of thinset that couldn't even make it from the store to my house, and after I was able to haul them back they refused to return them, proudly and unapologetically. They actually blamed me. I would never do business with this company again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased nearly $10,000 worth of tile and laminate, for delivery that was "in stock". They called me a few days later and told me my 1200 Sq Ft of tile was no longer in stock and I would have to wait three weeks for delivery, a few days before my delivery date I thought it was odd that I had heard nothing so I called and then they told me they would not receive the tile until August 8th (another 3 weeks out) and then they could set up delivery. I told them to split my order and deliver the bathroom tile and laminate so I could get started. Floor & Decor said that I would be called an hour before delivery on the delivery date. I told them the house was vacant and I needed the hour to get to the property, they said no problem. I heard nothing until a voice mail was left while I was on another call. The voice mail was from the "All Pro Services" delivery driver who said he was at the gate and was leaving in 10 minutes. By the time I called back he had left. They then lied and said that the delivery driver called me an hour before, I said listen to the voice mail, it was my only call. The driver said "hey I'm at the gate and can't get in. Call me back" When I complained to Floor & Decor the manager said they could not redeliver and would need to reschedule to the following day. They have no clue the havoc they cause with coordinating builders, orders and delivery. I should have cancelled the whole order when they told me the first time that everything was in stock and then said two days later that the tile was on back-order. They delayed my project nearly a month. It is amateur hour over there and the 3rd party delivery service should be called "All Amateur Delivery Services" not "All Pro". Basically expect a disaster if you do business with these guys. read more

I hate when you're looking for a sales associate & find a desk with 5 people behind it. One person on the phone and the other 4 doing their best to pretend they don't see you. At the very least, acknowledge someone is standing there and that you'll be with them as soon as you finish _____. That being said, they have a nice selection and good prices. Once you find someone to help you, especially is you sit down with a Design Consultant, I hope you'll be as pleased as I was. Dawn Kushner was our person and she was knowledgeable, she understood what I was looking for and she knew how to put it all together. I'm thrilled with our choices. The worst place ever. Lets start with Diane at costumer pick up services, she must hate her job. Beyond shocked at the attitude and not even looking at you when picking up the material. If she was my employee, she would have 0 chance. We are a design company, and we send our clients there (they don't want to go due to the failed customer service all around) tons of people walking around with no help. This place is going down hill. On June 11th I spent 2000. In this store. It took me almost 3 hours to get out of there. The guy at the service desk was no help with any questions and could not get off his chair to help. But today I went in to return 180 dollars worth of tile. We purchased a beautiful vanity for the master bath but had to wait to complete the remodel before installing it. Upon installation, we found a production flaw in the ceramic sink, causing it to leak. We visited our Riviera Beach store for help and a resolution. The store manager was fantastic! She contacted customer care immediately for us to work out a solution. She offered us several ideas and remedies. Yes, we had a terrible customer service experience that merited a bad review once it happened...but what happened after that facilitated a change in review. The store manager called me on my cell phone to get details of what happened, and to make it right. She met us at the store 15 minutes before closing, listened carefully to the entire situation, solved the problems we had, offered a genuine apology, and made it right. It was A+ Management, and we were very happy to see it resolved. It's unfortunate that any business can become the victim of a bad employee; however a quality manager like the one we worked with tonight can save the day. read more

To be more specific....as Sarah has asked.....finding a sales associate to actually help is very challenging. There are a lot of employees wandering around the store chatting with each other....No one reaches out unless you address them personally and ask for help. Most don't actually have any knowledge of you do manage to find someone. The check out area is a fiasco! They seldom have more than one station open. The wait to check out is always ridiculously long . No one seems to actually know what's going on .....lots of pick up area confusion . The Riviera Beach store has terrible customer service. Most of their employees don't want to help or can't figure out what they are doing. They had me drive all the way to Pompano only to find that much of the product was broken and when I got to the job, they did not even load the right amount. Today I had to show them the tile I needed was skewed improperly and coming up as another tile. The two girls were making up excuses so they would not have to actually do some work to get me what I need. I finally walked out. The exception is Daphne. She was very helpful and a delight to deal with. Another employee that was very helpful is a guy I believe his name is Valentine. He helped us out just by overhearing us talking and he directed us to what we needed. I hope I never have to go back to that store again. The company won't honor the sign and picture in their store that clearly shows the $800 tile cutter with a stand and wheels. The Boynton Store confirmed that the stand came with the cutter and sent me to Riviera Beach to pick it up. I drove all of the way there. Sat in the parking lot for 40 minutes waiting for it to be brought out. When it did arrive, it didn't have the stand. The manager said it should have one and said he would give it to us. Then 30 mins later came out and said no. So they lost an $800 sale over the difference of $100, and lost a long term customer, and got this review. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I went in to the Boynton location and was confused and didn't know what I needed for my commercial business from the tile to the grout to the backsplash for my office and Boynton didn't have the amount of pieces I needed in any of the choices I liked so I went to Riviera where I was helped by Zee I can say within 30 minutes I got everything I needed she helped pick the best tile, the matching backsplash as well as the grout and got me approved for a $7000 credit card with Floor and Decor which I was not even aware that they offered. Second, the employees do not want to work they can see you looking and they will not come up to you and ask to see if you need help or can they get someone else to help you! Now we have been looking for a specific floor tile to which the store in Pompano FL told me that the WPB (173) store will have it by the end of September so when I got to the store they told me YES....charge more then the Pompano store then said "it arrived but that it still hasn't been unloaded from the truck." I explained the I had to go to Tampa for a job and that I will return on Monday to pick it up and they assured me that not to worry that they will have it ready.. LIES,LIES,LIES!!!!! These people don't have a clue to where is their right from their left. We recently purchased glass tiles at Floor & Decor. We picked out the color we wanted. The sales staff directed me to where the tiles were in the store and told me to bring the tiles to the check out. We are not contractors or installers. We hired an installer to remove the old backsplash and install the new tiles. I verified that the 6 boxes of tiles all had the same sku number. We paid for the tiles and took them home and kept them safe until the installer came two weeks later. He also checked to make sure they all had the same sku number. Afterward we noticed that there were different shaded of grey tiles all with the same sku number. It never even occurred to me that the same sku was in the inventory with different manufacture dates and as it turned out, different shades of gray. The person who checked me out NEVER bothered to check this or alert me to the fact that there could be an issue of different die lots in the same sku. My wife called customer service about 4 times and spoke with people who were putting the blame on us and claiming that we or our installer should have laid out the tiles and verified that they were all the same shade before putting them up. We think that the sales people should have picked the order, not us, and should have checked at the register that they were from the same lot and brought this potential problem to our attention. They should replace the tiles and pay to have the wrong tiles removed and reinstall matching tiles at their expense. I would have accepted a credit for the amount of the purchase, just to compensate me for having a substandard installation that resulted from their inept sales staff. They are now totally ignoring the issue and not returning our calls. We will not purchase from this store in the future. Bruce and Phyllis B. read more
