Horrible experience!! Called and was told that both the lamp and area rug we wanted were available. Online it showed that there were 4 lamps available. Arrived to store 30 minutes later. There was 1 lamp in an opened box (that was kind of beaten up). Finally found an associate, she said the store showed 2 in stock but she didn't know where we could find the 1nd one. Then went back to carpets. Again, showed in stock online. We searched and searched. An associate walked by us and did not return. Went up to check out, waited in line, showed the cashier the bar code and bin number and she went on the radio and called someone to meet us there. (Not sure why she couldn't look it up but...) We walked back to carpets and waited and waited. 10 minutes no one ever came and so we left. Told the cashier that no one came and she was irritated. Everyone complains that businesses are closing. Here is a good example. I was ready to spend a lot of money and NO ONE would help. We will most likely not go back. read more

Customer service at this store is horrendous. The manager gave us such an attitude when we asked for help and the other staff are no better. Some of the products are great, but not worth putting up with the eye rolling and negative attitudes from staff. read more

The store is clean and a huge selection, it is great in that aspect. We went to purchase the item that we had selected, about $37.00 after taxes. We tried to pay with a $110 bill, the young cashier did not have enough change in the drawer, she asked the other 2 cashier if they could break it, no. She called for the manager (Angela), a few minutes later another cashier called for her. Our cashier called again for her, finally after waiting for about 10 minutes, she finally showed up. By this time we were done, we had tried to take the $100 bill back and give her different denominations, she could not do that, we tried to just return it then, she could not do that either. The manager, Angela, came up front with an attitude. No apologies from anybody, just excuses. I stepped up and said that we were done and did not want the item anymore and to just give us our money back. Angela, gave more attitude, I called her some very foul, we got our money and left. Never will we go back to this store. If she cannot handle the store with more professionalism and less attitude and excuses, then the company should replace her. read more

I had no idea that this place even existed. When I got a surprise gift card, I was intrigued and went in to see what it has to offer. It's a fun store and has a lot of things for your home. There is furniture, lots of home decor, and plenty of items to buy out of here. I could have easily spent over an hour or so in here and it's for the next visit. They are already rocking it with the seasonal items with the upcoming holidays. The costs are reasonable and you can even find items on clearance throughout the store. It's very clean and organized. If you can't find something, ask a staff member that may be able to help. The cashier was nice and quick during the service. I'm glad I got that gift card or I would have never found out about this place. read more

Not much to say about At Home. I find this location interesting. It's somewhat hidden behind a busy street with many retail stores. The store is visible when driving on route 95 passing Northlake Blvd, but good luck finding it. The store is fairly large with everything one can imagine. They have all kinds of houseware products such as outdoor furniture, holiday products, kitchen, bathroom, and so on. All at reasonable prices. Fun place to shop for all the things you need (and don't know you need) for your home. The store itself is very large and easy to navigate compared to some home stores that seem crowded with merchandise, boxes, etc. Items are well organized and store appears clean. Prices seem average to somewhat expensive for home goods. The young folks in our group enjoyed looking at the Halloween displays which were already out in July! At Home offers a wide selection of items for the inside and outside of your house from patio furniture, sheets, arm chairs, lamps, garden 'decor,' tents, dinnerware, and kitchenware to name a few. Our cashier was very pleasant and asked if we wanted to join At Home's reward program, which we did. May or may not return as At Home is a little far away for us. This place is massive and has an extensive selection of home decor as well as small furniture, outdoor furniture, wall art and even gifts! If time isn't on your side, wait until it is because you'll want to venture through the entire store. There are various clearance isles and sections throughout an already well organized layout. Additionally, there are holiday specific sections too depending on what holidays are up and coming. Currently, there is a lot of Easter merchandise for sale. The wall art aisles go for days and for all my fellow organizational types... baskets galore! This place is my jam. Not to mention, it's extremely affordable and there's a rewards program too. We just moved into a new home and need STUFF! Not really necessities, just STUFF! A google search for home goods led me here and I was excited to check it out. Went in on a weekday and I pretty much had the store to myself. They have a fairly large parking lot, so I assume that they do get busy. Speaking of parking lot, to get there you pretty much drive through a private neighborhood. It was a bit confusing. When I parked I saw a lady putting on her sneakers before going in. That should've been a sign! The place is huge! Sort of like the Costco of home goods. They have tons of STUFF. Not necessarily quality stuff, but some cute stuff nonetheless. I had no trouble finding things to buy. Not many employees though. I saw one stocking & stuff, and one cashier. Both were friendly and helpful though. All in all, I will add it to my list of places to go to when I need stuff for my home. read more

First time here and was pretty excited to see what the hype was all about. In comparison to other home stores it's not the very best, but definitely not the worse. The quality of some of the items is a little questionable but overall they do have some cute stuff. It's HUGE so be prepared to walk down every aisle. Feed your husband before you drag them there! This home decor store opened about a month ago in the old Gander Mountain store and it has everything you could need! I went on a Monday morning so it was very empty inside and in their parking lot. They carry garden furniture, pot, rugs, wall decor, kitchenware, bedding, misc decor, and so much more! You could spend hours shopping in this huge store. They had just what I was looking for and several options for everything, will definitely come back here if I'm looking for any home decor items The only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars is because we only received an email receipt and didn't notice until we got home that we were charged for an extra rug that we didn't buy and we didn't get the buy one get one 50% off planters. I went here for the 1st time yesterday. I did not even know this place existed so I was excited to go! It's located behind a shopping center really close to a neighborhood, kind of strange. The exterior is very nice. It's a huge, clean building & parking lot. Going inside I was still excited as there's deals on display right when you walk in! I walked around this ENTIRE store. I did buy a few things but I don't think I would go back & here's why - 1. This store reminded me of a huge 5 Below but more expensive. 2. The things you find in here can be found at Home Goods & other major home decor stores in the area & for a better price. 3. There was a lot of vacant isles. A lot of extra store that had nothing stocked. 4. There were no employees asking if you need anything, I only saw 2 employees restocking items in the whole store. 5. There were A LOT of broken merchandise 6. The lines to check out were insane, they had 2 cashiers working in a busy Sunday. Overall, my experience wasn't horrible, you can more then likely find what you are looking for in this store & their rug & basket selection is HUGE !! However, I feel like things were overpriced. It gave me 5 Below vibes, like I mentioned earlier, & it was not 5 below lol. Horrible service and quality of merchandise. I purchased outdoor candles and they Melted. I called the store and had to leave a message. Needless to say no one called me back. I went to the store with my receipt and my recently purchased candles and friendly "Donna" quickly told me that they needed to be unused and in its original packaging. Seriously? She argued that I should read the policy, the policy she didn't make she just works there. Are outdoor candles supposed to melt? If I had bought regular candles they would still be burning. Sad to see a new store which such rude and argumentative employees, imagine she is supposed to be the manager. Oh and when I told her they just lost a customer she ended with "so be it". This place is a less inspiring equivalent to IKEA. My pet peeve is stores who attach sticky price tags to the outside visible part of an item which CANNOT BE REMOVED rendering a reasonably priced item useless and frustrating. The goods are probably equal to Home Goods but prices are higher and selection is generic. There was absolutely nothing I saw that wouldn't be same quality and lower price on Amazon INCLUDING FURNITURE! selection of decor as well as christmas decor is great. however, the lines are absolutely insane. they only have about 5 registers. the line was probably about 50 people long and moved at snail speed. we left our cart full because we didn't have time to keep waiting. they need to hire seasonal help and give all employees a handheld device to allow people to pay with card while their standing in line. this is ridiculous. i would rather shop at hobby lobby and homegoods. read more

I will never shop at AtHome gardens location ever again! I kindly asked whom I believed to be the manager, Tania, if they sold Hanukkah gift bags. Apparently my question disgusted her as her response was " ha NOPE" while she continued to walk away rolling her eyes and shaking her head. It's a real shame how one employee can truly hurt the reputation of a company. I then politely left my full cart up at the front of the store and left. I brought my business to Home Goods instead. I convinced my husband to drive up to this store one night after dinner as I wanted to get some ideas for redecorating our home and we had not been there yet. We wound up in the back of the store and wanted a laundry basket on the top shelf as there were none in regular stock where you could get them. After looking for quite awhile for an employee- there was no-one around, my husband called the main number of the store and asked if it was the store on Northlake, a very rude woman told him "No, they were on Sand Lake where Gander used to be"- (which is just off the main Road of Northlake.) The woman who answered the phone was annoyed to start and then he told her he was actually in the store and needed help back in the laundry area as we needed something from the very top shelf. She said she would get someone to help us- after 10 minutes of waiting and walking up and down the aisles to find someone, my husband went over to where their step ladders were and used one to get up to the top shelf. He was NOT happy about the attitude nor the lack of help! The worst part of the experience was when he asked for a manager up at the registers- the woman that came up was the rude woman that answered the phone and she admitted it quite snidely! She also told him it was a "Self-Service Store"! What the h--- does that mean- you can't get someone to help you -how is an older person suppose to get something off a top shelf?? As my husband was telling her what happened, her phone rang and she answered it and walked away as he was still talking to her! How rude can you be??? And you are a manager???
