The tufting on the wool and viscose rug is falling out. I began inquiring about a resolution in July of 2022. The showroom referred my issue to the factory. When the factory didn't answer them they told me my rug was 3 years old, out of warranty. Convenient they waited til the warranty expired and then responded. I am only looking for repair or replacement of the area rug. I sent a final letter on November 20, 2022 certified, return receipt requested asking for some type of mediation and I have received no reply. Think twice before buying anything from them.

I live in a humidity controlled home. Instead of making good on the $250 slat cost refund, since I had bought an adjustable frame and didn't want the slats replaced for fear of breaking again, they would rather have me write a bad review. Poor quality, poor customer service. They do not stand behind their products. Manager's comments are "I can't do this"; "I can't do that". Don't let them fool you! Do not buy from Bassett!

I have now called at least 5 times and they promised me someone will show up and repair the recliner. Each time they say someone is coming they are a NO-SHOW. Their communications is terrible and the do not honor their commitments. As of today September 17, 2026 they have NOT REPAIRED the recliner. Save yourself the stress and stay away from this company.
