This is a very similar thrift store to Savers / Value Village although there aren't any in Palm Beach County or pretty much anywhere else in Florida that I know of. They have a fantastic selection of clothes, furniture and mattresses. There are some books and movies. Nice employees here! I bought a lot of clothes for decent prices as well as a book that I want to read for a cheaper price. I recommend this store to thrifters! read more

I have been shopping there for a couple of years. I bought a pair of sneakers that were marked as my size. I must add that they make trying on shoes extremely difficult, as the ones behind the case are not marked so you can see the size, there is no where to sit, and they stand hovering over you when you attempt to try them on. I said ok to a pair that were in my size. Bad move. I tried them on outside, and they didn't fit. Walked in under 10 minutes later, and they refused to offer store credit. Perhaps they should put less emphasis on believing everyone that comes in is trying to steal or deceive them, and more thought to customer service. Never will go there again! read more

Went here with a friend a few days ago! Prices are high so don't think you will actually come out of this store with any deals !! I found denim jean shorts price $4.00 in mens section which I believe were actually women's so I didn't buy them! They have sales with tag colors being half off but those colors are few and far between! Place is big and kinda fun to at least browse ! I came out of there buying nothing ! My friend bought a couple light blankets for $5.00 each and a few Knick knacks ! Would I go here again ?maybe ! This is the most unusual thrift store I have been to, and I thrift for a hobby, so I have been to them all. For one thing, whoever does the pricing in this place has no clue as to value and overprices many items. One item in particular that I have seen many times retail for about $19.00 was priced for $39.00 and of course has never sold. Even at half price many items here are above retail prices and much more expensive than other thrift stores. I don't think they grasp the idea that this is a thrift store and not a high-end boutique. Then there is their bizarre practice of putting items in glass cases where you have to ask to see them and we are not talking expensive items. If you do want an item from the case, it goes immediately behind the register until you check out. They even did this with a $4.00 item. Sometimes things you see in the cases are later removed and put out on the shelves so it's a mystery why they were in the case to begin with. On my last visit I brought a friend who made a purchase, and when the cashier (the one with the braids) was waiting for the coin change she forgot she put the paper money in the drawer. My friend and I both saw her take the cash, but she was adamant that we had not paid. It was an inexpensive purchase and my friend ever the gentleman who hates conflicts paid double just to avoid the conflict but either she did it on purpose or has her head in the clouds. This left a bad taste in my mouth about this store. Another thing is they have a "rewards" program which no other thrift store does. I suppose that is a good thing for customers but does not justify the high prices on some items. The only good thing I can say about this store is that they do get some unusual items that you don't readily find at other thrift stores but expect to pay top dollar for them. My experience shopping at Goodlife Thrift was bizarre, from security greeting you at the entrance to the beyond weird policies. read more

What an odd store. Employees seem to vaguely wander around. I was waiting to try on clothes and the lady in charge deliberately overlooked me and let Hispanic people in before me. This happened on two different occasions. They seem , maybe unconsciously, racist to non Latin people. Maybe my imagination. I've donated 2-3 hundred dollars worth of stuff there this year because it is so close to my house. Next time I'm taking stuff to Goodwill. read more

That new supervisor Lenore, runs a tight ship, I saw her in action and thought no wonder the store looks really good now. i was in line and saw how she manages these kids and it works. all i care about is not standing in line for hours just to pay and she gets the job done. This is a wonderful place, the workers help you out and explain the colors on sale. They are very helpful, looks like a new staff with many new faces , fresh faces not complaining spirits, like before. These people like being there and helping out customers. The store is nice and everything is easy to find. I went last week and the furniture area looks like a department store lol, really nice. The cashier who helped me was Ethan, a young and kind kid. He explained how every week the color changes for what's known as sale. I'll be back next week to see what is on sale and just to say hi to the new staff. Why did an employee just walk out directly in front of me, stop, and pulls out longest cigarette to smoke? They are still standing under the sign? Even with that strange behavior I can't say this place is less than average. If you o looking for something specific you probably won't find it. But if you have time to stroll you might find a hidden prize. Like others had stated this place is never crowded. Plenty of elbow room to go through racks of clothing or check out furniture. Recently have been on a DIY shoe upgrade addiction. Luckily ever so often I find a cheap pair with good structure that's just waiting to be dyed painted, and/or studded. Everything seems decent except the plush stuffed animals. Not sure how anyone could bring those things into their car let alone their home. My friend lost her keys when the store was about to close and the employee wouldn't let her go back to the table she was at to look for them. Because of that, she and her friend and their kids were stranded. Awful employee service without an ounce of compassion. Supervisor would not let another employee lift a hand to help out. She had to get a ride for everyone and come back the next day to get the keys exactly where she told the woman at the store they would be. Missed work and her kids were late for their Halloween parade at school. read more

In any case you get more of a discount store feel than that of a traditional thrift store. This place is huge with tons of clothes, shoes, accessories, books, furniture, sports equipment, home goods, electronics, and art. Prices seemed a bit high but they have a tag system where you can score an extra discount. On the day I visited purple tags were an additional 50 percent off, Yellow tags 25 percent off and pink tags 25 percent off. Furniture was 15 percent off. Unfortunately I didn't score any great tag sales but I did buy a bag of Happy Meal toys for $2 to throw in the class treasure box. It was my first time in the store today and it was absolutely huge, there are so many options to choose from. I spent nearly eight hours deciding on what I wanted to take home. The prices were affordable and they even offered extra percent off the final sale price so that was a plus one of the supers Leonor gave me a lot of her time because I was having trouble with the fitting rooms and trying on different outfits for school so I value her greatly and I also managed to get some antiques and furniture for my dorm. I am so excited to start my new college journey because of the quality of service I received. My dad came to the store to buy a new mattress for his new townhouse and he said Jackie R. Gave him a really good deal so my family will definitely be back regularly to get more. Thank you to the rest of the employees for such a great experience. . The manager is horrible. She is disrespectful and discriminates against people with disabilities. I am both a cancer survivor and an ostomate. Like many disabilities mine requires me to carry medical supplies wherever I go. The manager refused to let me bring them in. I tried to give the store another chance and the same manager had a problem this time with my autistic 3 year old child. She decided that she needed to make loud rude comments about Mt child because he was having a meltdown. This store advertises about their support for the American Cancer Society but treats customers with disabilities with zero compassion or kindness. I am extremely disappointed in this store and their negative inhumane actions towards customers with disabilities. read more

Very large thrift store with lots of pre-owned items to choose from if thrifting is your thing. As other reviewers have mentioned, the prices here seem to be a bit high for second hand merchandise. I lucked out as all 3 of the goodies I picked up had orange tags which were the 'color of the day.' Color of the day tags gives you 50% off of your finds. Clothes are well organized by color, size, and gender. The shoe displays are arranged very nicely. The furniture is somewhat dingy looking and not worth looking at in my opinion. Check out was quick and uncomplicated. I'll be back to look for vintage Pyrex and Blue Cornflower CorningWare for my personal use. read more

This p.lace is the Absolute best thrift shop around and trust me I've been to many. You don't have to pay a fee to be a member and new merchandise is put out on the floor daily. I've told so many people about this place including my son who would never go to a thrift shop. Sometlimes they even have the original price tags on garments . Not only are there tons of clothes for men women and children there is also furniture toys housewares small appliances and many other things. There's plenty of parking. There's a rewards program for free and once they have your email they will send you the colors that are on special and any other specials they may have. Oh my...a thrifter's PARADISE! This place is huge, items are very well organized and there are plenty of bargains to be had. In my first trip I found some several furniture buys including an adorable midcentury chest of drawers and side table ($179) and a lovely modern leather sofa ($229) in pristine condition. In the clothing section I found several pairs of high end shoes and tops for work and some cute dresses for my granddaughter. Meanwhile my friend scoured the books section for some great coffee table books and scored several high end cabinet drawers for her new kitchen. Parking was easy and prices were great! Tried to buy a pair of maternity pants, tried them on, and the tag came off, mind you, they are barely attached to the pants. I get to the register, admit it came off, but the tag matched the color of the plastic thing. She won't sell me the pants. I said I would wait while they look back on the camera to ensure I didn't switch tags... also it was the only item that WASNT ON SALE! It was full price. She wouldn't sell them. I was half tempted to out back all my items and leave. I understand if it looks shady, or if it was a sale item, but there has to be some give to that rule.... I am in college and like to thrift a lot of my clothes to save on money, i also love style and have my eye out for the occasional pair of vintage wranglers or a cute tiny purse. This store has lots of mens pants, and womens clothing. I found a vintage pair of Levis and Wranglers, along with a small Kanken backpack, each under $10. I also found a bundle of christmas lights for $3 that was enough to decorate my whole dorm- still so happy about that. The last time I went I found a super cute painters suit! Some items can be a little pricey, a pair of black cowboy boots were going for $50, but other than that I find a lot of fun things here! read more

We went in and spent about 15 minutes looking at items, and when we went to go cash out the cashier was very rude, and she said she could not make the sale because none of the items had price tags on them. WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. I purchased a used bed frame that already had damage for my 9 year old son for almost $200 because manager said it's the best she can do. Pick it up and it seems whoever dissembled the bed after I had already paid for it has lost all the hardware to put the bed together and lost the baseball themed knobs! It's going on 2 weeks now and all I have is a bed frame stacked in the corner of the house because it can't be put together without the hardware. Have reached out to management on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS and they brush it off and say "nope still haven't found the parts we lost". And better yet I was in the middle of talking to a "manager" and got hung up on. So I will be paying the so called "good life" thrift a visit very soon and let them know that they really are the opposite of what a good life should be. Way to give zero cares about your customers! I highly suggest no one shops at this overpriced disrespectful thrift store because you will be disappointed. And if there's any issues just know they won't give one damn!! read more

I used to come shop here very often, until the last experience I had here. My friends and I went into the dressing rooms, along with an elderly woman who we didn't know, she was just in line as well. In the middle of me trying my items on, the same worker who just unlocked the doors for us to get in started pretty much harassing us. She was standing outside literally yelling repeatedly saying things along the lines of, "come on girls you're taking forever!" "hellllllooooooo let's goooooo!!!" Never in my LIFE have I felt so uncomfortable and we had literally just gotten into the rooms! beware!!! spent over $1300 here yesterday. we lost everything in a house fire. spoke to the manager and explained we needed everything from living room to 3 bedrooms and dining room table and chairs etc. we were on a limited budget bc we did not have renters insurance. her name is jackie. she had zero empathy for our situation. i can only assume she had zero empathy for any situation bc she'd literally sigh and roll her eyes when customers spoke to her. she is by far the worst manager i've ever seen. she barked orders at the employees the entire time we were there. as we were talking, mid-sentence she'd start yelling at her employees and then turn to us to roll her eyes and chastise them! it was truly unbelievable. she was rude to employees and customers alike. i've never seen anything like it!! because of her- i will never return!! btw- we only bought a living room and dining room set. along with a few end tables and lamps. it was out of sheer desperation. we would've purchased more but couldn't stand another minute w that woman!!! read more

I don't think I'll be coming back to this thrift. The employees assume everyone is stealing so when you go to the dressing room you are not allowed to bring all your items in and they check to make sure you aren't ripping the tags off. One of the employees told me I couldn't bring all the clothes in to the dressing room and she would watch them for me. When I got out I noticed the employee let someone TAKE THINGS FROM MY CART. This was extremely upsetting because I was excited to bring home my new finds and I thought it was rude that the employee let someone else go through my cart. It's also very rude to treat all the customers like they are stealing. read more

Loved this store as it has a wide variety of clothing, shoes and household items. The they have different color tags every week which offer 30 to 50% off their already low prices! Plus I found out while checking out that they offer 25% off to seniors 55 and older on Wednesday (unfortunately I was a day early). I was also told that the proceeds to to a cancer charity, although I don't remember which one the clerk told me! I got a whole new wardrobe for around $20. I was a happy camper! read more
