To Goodwill Customer Relations & Management, I am writing to…read moreformally report an upsetting experience at your (A1A Palm Beach Gardens) location on Sunday, Sept 27 involving a staff member identified as Joe. As a regular customer and vintage enthusiast, I frequent Goodwill often and have always appreciated supporting your mission. However, the behavior I experienced this past Sunday was entirely unacceptable and inconsistent with Goodwill's core values of community respect and service. The store's listed closing time was 8:00 PM. I arrived at 7:45 PM, fully aware of the time and intending to make a quick 5-minute visit to look for specific items in what is a relatively small store layout. Joe wasnt happy when he saw me coming. Shortly after arriving, Joe began yelling at my party to leave because it was "almost 8 PM." Rather than issuing a standard, professional courtesy announcement regarding closing time, he spoke to us with extreme hostility and raised his voice. When I directly expressed my shock at how he was addressing paying customers, his aggressive tone did not change. Furthermore, when mentioned that this poor treatment would be reflected in a customer review, he dismissed the concern entirely, stating that he "didn't care" and that we could write whatever we wanted. While I fully understand and respect that staff need to prepare for closing, there is a clear distinction between giving a standard closing announcement and verbally screaming at customers who are shopping during posted operating hours. Treating patrons with blatant disrespect damages customer loyalty and reflects poorly on your organization. I am requesting that leadership review this incident, address Joe's conduct with appropriate retraining on customer service standards, and follow up with me regarding how this matter is being handled. This was a very good thrift store…read more They have a lot of clothes. But they are very well organized by categories. And in addition, the clothes within each category are separated out by sizes. And the clothes are very neatly displayed. They have some toys and children's clothing. They have a bit of furniture. They have some electronics. A small amount of books -- both hard uber s d paperback as well as children's books. And a respectable display of china/bric a brac/housewares. My husband found several shirts he liked. I spent most of my time in the house wares section and found a few vintage items. We were able to take advantage of a few of the daily discounts. They vary each day depending on category and/or price tag color. And are posted on a board as you enter the store. So glad we stopped here when we were driving by. And If we are in this area, we will definitely visit.

I discovered this store while exploring the monthly Rust Market, a vintage flea market held on the third Saturday of every month. In conjunction with the market, Attic Fanatics was having a sidewalk sale. Inside there were several rooms packed with interesting items including toys, collectibles, housewares, clothing, jewelry, holiday decorations, and decor. I loved the vintage Florida souvenirs and flamingos, glassware, and casserole dishes. They had a set of vintage Pyrex bowls in the turquoise color I adore but out of my price range at $275. They also have a room of books. The people working were very friendly. This was a fun store to explore and take a trip down memory lane.

The racks were labeled clearly with various designers or collections, such as Chanel Edit, Special Occasion, etc. The clothes curated there for that location were more fitting to Palm Beach, as I saw more warmer weather styles, vibrant colors, and fun prints. The location has a couple of displays of luxury handbags, some watches and jewelry, and a few accessories and shoes, along with the racks of clothing. Prices do vary based on condition, designer, and time the piece has been available. The staff were kind to check or share that you can scan the tags for any of the pieces for more information with their app and you can see if there are discounts available for items. In addition to selling consignment items, they will take items for consignment in the shop. I saw some clients stopping in to drop off items to be consigned and listed. I did try some pieces on, but didn't purchase as I was not 100% in love with the items once I tried them on or looked them over. Overall, this is a fun location to stop into. The staff here were more friendly and approachable, which helped to make the experience a pleasant one.

This store seemed smaller than other stores I have visited and they only had one rack of Halloween items. It was not anything like the stores on the west coast of Florida that can rival Spirit Halloween with their array of costumes. I think someone in this store has been watching Getting Organized with the Home Edit on Netflix because the clothes were organized in the rainbow color scheme that Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin champion. Everything was organized nicely but there wasn't anything for me today. Prices also seemed kind of high compared to other thrift stores in the area. It was a miss for me but I might have just visited on an off day.
