this store has some of the rudest and unfriendly people working ( volunteering) there. their prices are outrageous and expensive, charging 8 dollars for a shirt from walmart and shien is ridiculous. This used to be my FAVORITE place in all of Florida to thrift at. Somewhere along the lines their pricing has gotten SO out of hand. I no longer enjoy shopping here. $100 for a faded Lilly Pulitzer dress that you can just go to the store and buy for new with the tag on it. Or even Poshmark. It's just not a fun experience anymore when it's mall prices at a thrift Store. This is DONATED merchandise, I understand the money goes to charity, but must you be so greedy? Price it reasonably, and people will buy more! And you wont have this stuff just sitting there!! read more

Getting NEW MANAGEMENT ! I had a very bad experience with their self proclaimed "ONE AND ONLY MANAGER AND THERE ARE NO OTHER MANAGERS ANY DAY OF THE WEEK BUT ME " at the Donald Ross location. Very unprofessional individual. Unreasonable, would not check on who was claiming to be a " MANAGER " on Friday Oct 24 along with the lady at the cash register that called her up AS A MANAGER to help one of your other volunteers to open 2 locked cases at the front end . I made the request to VARIFY that I purchased 2 items on Friday out of 2 of the LICKED CASES . One of which was a $ 90 Silver LOOKING Necklace w/ a Simple Cross. I cleaned the necklace and wore Friday night til late Saturday Oct 25 after my neck became VERY IRRITATED with blisters from it. That had never happened to me in 69 years. I googled the piece and found the makers website and it had the piece New available on their website. I was shocked to find it was Normal Price listed at $ 10.99 on sale for $ 11 . I could not bring it back till Tuesday morning since the shop was closed till then. I can not wear the piece due to the reaction I had and still had till Wednesday. If it did not give me the irritation I would have KEPT IT , even if it was $11 they are a CHARITY & I paid $150 cash for All I bought. It was Perfect , I really liked it and I do not buy or wear any jewelry other than my mother's gold cross chain and I wanted a silver or white gold one for the last 20+ yrs. Back to the Manager on Tuesday, she took the necklace and the 8 pages I had printed up from the " LOVISA " website with Detailed photos of the chain and additional info to her office. Has gone 20 mins ? Came out and said they do not do refunds and that was not their necklace , that is not our plastic bag ( I put it in a plastic bag from home ) This is what our price tags do not look like ( which when purchased the tag was falling off and cashier tossed it and told me to put the necklace in my purse so it would not get misplaced) also went on how high the price of Silver is recently. All I was sad king her to do was check with the 3 woman that worked Friday mid day . I did not expect to get a CASH REFUND but maybe a STORE CREDIT. But she was having none of it , not even VERIFYING MY STORY WITH THOSE WORKERS. I left the necklace at the check out desk and yelled KEEP IT & I am NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. read more

What I witnessed by one of the volunteers at the cash register yesterday (1/2/26)!! One young lady was checking out and the cashier asked 'would you like to round up?' And she politely declined. Can you imagine what the cashier/volunteer said next? She tried to pressure the customer into donating by saying WHAT? ARE YOU SURE AFTER THE DEAL YOU JUST GOT? She was literally pressuring the customer into donating her change with all the other shoppers hearing this exchange. I had to let the cashier know that pressuring customers is not OK and she actually argued with me that WELL WE'RE GIVING 30% OFF TODAY AND WHY NOT DONATE? I reminded her the thrift store was a charity and that she should be more charitable in her attitude that we were all there to support the charity by shopping in the first place. I don't know who she thought she was, but I left so angry. Not only is the thrift store over priced as it is, 30% off is a great savings and perhaps not everyone has extra money to donate every time they shop!!!! I really hope Corporate will remind the volunteers to show some grace and remind them of customer etiquette, but this was completely wrong behavior. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. A shirt for $89. I went to use the restroom and she started ringing everything without even clarifying with me. When i checked the receipt one women's top was $89. Absurd. For second hand clothing thats highway robbery, not even a luxury brand of any sort either. I called to clarify & figure a solution. Both ladies were rude. The manager (Patty) didn't allow for any refund, not even an exchange or store credit; she was extremely condescending on the phone too, saying thank you for my complaint and oh gosh no I cant refund you. Terrible management. I work in luxury sales as a manager; the attitude on the phone I was given was ludicrous. I will never come back to this location. Such a shame. read more

We had gone next door to get gelato at Matty's and saw some outside racks that we just couldn't resist checking out. I love browsing in thrift, resale, and antique shops. It's "in my blood" having grown up with family who loved flea markets, yard sales, and stores like this. This store (benefiting hospice) was immaculate. The three connected rooms were packed with furniture, clothing, housewares, art work, lamps, jewelry... you name it. Some items looked almost new. Unlike many junky thrift stores, this store had some very high quality pieces. Especially in their furniture. It's the kind of place where you will see a lot of appealing items. And you won't know where to look first. I watched in fascination as some tony palm beach gals ruffled through the clothes, purses and shoes, looking for designer names. This was a frequent stop for them. We didn't buy anything here -- although I almost got a gift for a friend. They were very helpful unlocking the cases to see a few items close up. Unfortunately, the very well priced silver piece that I had my eye on, had a monogram on it that just wouldn't work. This is the kind of store if you like re-sale shops that you'd want to stop in and check out. Especially if you're in the area -- and next time we are nearby, we certainly will do just that. read more

This thrift store supports Hospice of Palm Beach County. Proceeds go to Trustbridge, a non profit that was formed in 2008. It offers different therapy programs and end of life care. They help a patient cover what Medicaid and insurance won't. They also have a resale shop in West Palm Beach and one in Boca Raton which I visited and also liked. I was surprised at how large this store was. There were three rooms filled with furniture, art, lamps, collectibles, clothing, books, movies, small appliances, and accessories. I even saw Tiffany jewelry complete with that iconic blue bag. Everything was in very nice condition and I felt that prices were reasonable. I believe I heard a lady say they offer an additional senior discount on Fridays. If you have a favorite thrift store it really pays to ask about additional discount days because many stores have them. The thrift stores operated by Hospice are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 5. They accept donations up until 3 on those days. There was so much to look at here. I ended up getting a couple of inexpensive puzzles for my camp kids. Hopefully the pieces are all there. We are going for old school fun this summer. I honestly don't understand the low stars for this shop. It is definitely worth a visit and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

I'm a thrift lover and I venture out on all sorts of thrift places. I would love to give this establishment a higher rating but the prices were a little too hefty on everything. They have a couple deals here and there but I never seem to come home with anything from here. I remember asking for a price on this wallet that had stains on it, and it ended up being $14 for the wallet. $14?! That's a little too much, when it's not even brand new. I just didn't really feel welcomed in this store as well. Maybe just a bad experience, or I may just be too particular on how I buy things at thrift stores. But all I can say from this establishment as a piece of advice is to lessen their prices. read more
