Owner Tracy DeRamus had been operating resale furniture store Circa Who since 2004. She came up with the name for the store because when she was buying furniture for her own home she would see an item she liked and a dealer would tell her that's circa a year and a designer name to which she would reply circa who? The store was purchased from Tracy by new owners Juan Goiricelaya, Scott Mast, and Vlad and Marinella Miskovic,. Tracy is still working with the store to provide vintage furniture with an emphasis on Palm Beach style. I recently got the chance to visit when the store was the first stop on the VIP tasting portion of the Historic Old Northwood Annual Candlelight Holiday Home Tour. I was able to sip wine and nibble on cookies while checking out the extensive selection of eclectic furniture. The furniture is 20th century, mid century modern, and Hollywood Regency. One of my favorite items was an old fashioned bicycle light fixture in brass. In addition to the furnishings and accessories they also sell clothing, purses, and jewelry in the back of the store. If you are in the area stop and check out their unique inventory which changes on a daily basis. Items can also be viewed on their website and shipped anywhere in the country. They will even help you track down specific items at your request.

This is more estate sale stuff of furniture decor and more than a discount thrift store…read more... They describe themselves as "upscale". Everything in this small store is marked and neatly displayed. There's room between most of the items. Price wise it's not bad with some items reasonable and others on the side of a higher priced goodwill -- but better quality. All items seem clean and in good shape. We didn't find anything we liked well enough to buy today, but that's not saying you won't.

According to their Facebook page they have been in business since 2013. They are estate buyers so their merchandise is always changing depending on what they are purchasing . I have tried estate sales before but it feels like trespassing, going through someone's house that you know just died and picking through their stuff as their photos stare at you from the walls. Of course not everyone has died. Some people just want to sell a household of stuff in bulk before a move. In any case I'd much rather purchase estate items which are usually of a nicer quality than thrift, at a clean store like this. Also you are not having to drive around to multiple addresses. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Although they didn't have a huge amount of items, what they do have warrants a look if you are in the area.

A curated experience that truly delights--but bring your wallet!…read moreWalking into Hive Home, Gift & Garden feels less like entering a store and more like stepping into the pages of a high-end design magazine. Everything--from the artfully arranged furniture to the perfectly styled decor--has been curated with such care and elegance, it's hard not to be inspired. Hive isn't just one store, it's a collective of beautifully designed spaces including Hive for Her, Him & Kids, and the deliciously tempting Hive Bakery & Café (which is right next door!). Whether you're shopping for luxurious home furnishings, chic apparel, or just enjoying a pastry and coffee, the entire experience feels elevated and intentional. The story behind Hive is just as impressive as the space itself. Founded by interior designer Sara McCann in 2013, the brand has grown into a cornerstone of the Norton Dining and Design District in West Palm Beach. It's more than just a store--it's a celebration of Palm Beach style, creativity, and community. That said, elegance comes at a price. While I absolutely loved browsing (and maybe daydreaming a little), the price points were definitely a stretch for my everyday budget. Still, it's a wonderful place to get inspired and maybe treat yourself to something special. If you're in the area, even just walking through is a treat--and don't skip the café next door for a sweet bite afterward!

If they ever made a reality show competition out of furniture building then this store would win. I guarantee you haven't seen the stuff they sell here anywhere else. Dizzy Rock is a custom furniture store located on Federal Hwy in south Boynton Beach. According to their website "What distinguishes our brand Is our eccentric, eclectic, unique and fully customizable new way to express yourself or your brand with your furniture, home or business. Not only do we make furniture pretty but we make it last." At Dizzy Rock they can fabricate anything you can dream up. They create custom headboards, rehab furniture, and can even print whatever fabric you desire. The only limit is your imagination and budget. There is so much to look at in this store where everything is eye catching. How about a train locomotive that is a bar, a coffin bookshelf, a life size giraffe, steam punk cuckoo clock, or a graffiti painting monkey. Each piece is whimsical and discussion worthy. Of course this much creativity doesn't come cheap. Nothing is marked with a price but I overhead the monkey graffiti art piece was $4,000. They do have some small affordable gift items at the register. I admire anyone with this much creativity and artistic talent. This store is a one of a kind joy ride.
