Breaking the grill down to fit into car.
    Tammy M.

Best Home Depot ever !!!! We came here from Cary because they were less than helpful at the Cary Home Depot. We were looking for a gas grill (in a box). The sales clerks went out of their way to look in their inventory for us !! (And we weren't even wearing masks) . We finally decided on one but it was already assembled and we weren't sure it would fit into our car. The sales guy from grills went and got a screwdriver while my husband went to get the car. There was another person working outside who was helping to load items. Between the 3 of them they were able to disassemble the grill enough to fit into our car. Such great service !!! I want to come over to Garner and shop all the time now !!! Thank You Hope Depot !!!

I just visited the garden center and found just what I needed three specific herbs: Dill, thyme, and basil. Felt safe shopping here I the outside garden center of the store. Not crowded on a sunny Friday afternoon. Well stocked garden center, organized with healthy plants! Touch free checkout.

The caulking Paul put to "fix" the gaps caused by the frame work not be squared.

The ice cream is New Zealand style soft serve, which is jam packed with fruit. I tried the blueberry basil which was absolutely delicious. They also offer other more traditional style ice cream like cookies and cream. The nice little touch they add is putting biscoff cookie or other cookie with every scoop. The cute store is worth a peruse to look at cook books, plants, and other perfect giftables! And save some time to look at the farm animals. There's a herd of friendly alpacas, a coop of chickens (and a free roaming rooster) and even some goats. The animals are so cute and friendly! I will say the parking lots get kind of full, but there's definitely a good amount of spots. You might just need to be a little patient.

The ice cream is made to order and there is a variety of beverages to purchase. There are also locally made popsicles. I wish there were more food options. They have snacks but if you are hungry I would recommend grabbing a bite somewhere before heading here.

I was buying a plastic pot and asked if she would do the same for a 4" jade plant I had in the car. When I went to pay, I was shocked that the bill came to $25. The repottings were $8 each! I've never heard of a plant store that wouldn't be willing to add a tablespoon of soil to their own plant, and usually if you're buying a pot, most places will put a plant in it for you. At a minimum, they should let you know the fees upfront instead of a breezy, misleading "I'm happy to switch out the soil if you'd like." I offered to buy a $17 bag of potting soil if they would comp the repotting fees, but they were adamant about the $16 needed to cover "materials and labor". In the end, the manager comped the tablespoon of soil added to the 2" plant (again: this plant was from their own shop). The shop assistant then removed the new soil from the jade plant, leaving the stems loosely dumped in the pot I bought from them. As a plant lover, I can't imagine doing this to a plant just to reclaim a cup of potting soil! Such a weird and unpleasant experience. [Hearing this story, nearby Copperline Plant Company repotted the jade for free, without my asking and even before I had purchased anything from them. Their policy is that anything that takes under five minutes to repot is free. Logan's Garden Shop said they'd be happy to repot a plant into a pot I'd bought from them. This has always been my experience, and I'm happy to see that it's still the norm at most places.] I did get a cute snake plant here on an earlier visit. The shop is laid out nicely for a fun browsing experience, and plants are healthy. Just know their repotting fees are steep!

Instead of speaking with me directly, he relayed messages through the employee working the self-checkout. When I specifically requested to speak with him face-to-face, his attitude was dismissive and arrogant. He openly stated that he did not care about anything I had to say or show him on the Lowe's app or website, and that he only cared about what was on his Zebra device. I was attempting to purchase an item that was clearly marked on sale. When scanning the item using the Lowe's app in In-Store Mode with the correct location selected, the price showed $99.00. However, when scanned at self-checkout, the same item rang up as $237.00. Chad refused to listen to any explanation, would not review the app or website, and showed zero interest in resolving the discrepancy. Wouldn't look at my scanning of the items with his store selected using in store mode. His demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the interaction. I tried to show Chad the information about the Lowe's app and in store mode posted on your website that I attached here. Nope, didn't care to even look at it. It states that customers can use the app, as an instant, IN-STORE PRICE CHECKER, whenever you need it while shopping. Chad continuously talked down to me as if I were stupid, saying that they don't price match. How is it price matching if I used YOUR "in-store mode" to get a price check for that specific location?! Chad's behavior made Lowe's customer service look absolutely terrible and has honestly made me reconsider shopping at Lowe's altogether. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location for your hardware, tool, or home project needs--especially if you have to interact with Chad.
