The replacement machine arrived safely and on time. The installation crew was polite and conscientious. They quickly removed the old machine as I had purchased recycling service. The BIG problem occurred when installers refused to install the new machine on the LG drawer pedestal( that was under the failed machine). They claimed it was against company policy. That means that the nearly 200 lb washing machine would have to sit on the floor. This placement made it nearly impossible for us to use with our back problems. Also there was no way we could even pick the heavy machine up and place it on the pedestal ourselves. My wife was prepared to have them box it up and return it to Lowes. After a bit of a cool-down, we decided that though Lowes installation policy was incompetent, we would accept the delivery and hire someone private to help us mount the washer on its pedestal. WARNING: If you must use Lowes installation services, consider grilling the installation department on all aspects of a what is performed with installation service prior to purchase or look at other vendors carrying the same product.

Hudson's service separates it from Lowe's and Home Depot. I am always greeted by someone asking if they can help as soon as I enter the store. They then help me with a smile, not like it's a chore. They generally have everything I need to do household chores within my skill level. In fact, I've never looked for anything there that I felt a good hardware store should have that they didn't have. The prices are reasonable compared to other places for the products I buy. And the icing on the cake is that I park right at the door, and within a few steps I'm in the section I need -- no half mile treks. read more

I've spent tens of thousands of dollars with them, but this community just lost a firefighter to Covid-19 today, and when I entered the store, none of the employees and few of the other people shopping were wearing masks. Seems that Clayton is willing to hang on to it's Klan legacy rather than the Christian fantasy they cling to so fervently. Needless to say, I'll continue my projects using Lowe's. Most anything you need from nails and paint, to gardening supplies and horse feed, they have it. Want a new lawn mower blade or a great shade tree? They have it. Great service!!! The last fix-it project, a broken outside faucet, I got great advice on how to fix it and exactly what parts to buy. You have to go out of your way walking in here to not get helped. Any higher price I pay here over Lowe's is more than made up for in unwasted gas and time wandering around trying to find someone. read more

Chris H came out to my place when nobody else would and he worked hard in the sun to get me right. Maybe 2 hours. He ran diagnostics, did some troubleshooting of his own, but couldn't find the answers. Basically, Husqvarna did away with old sim connections and I needed a 4G board. Another company had installed it but there was no connection. Chris got on the horn with Husqvarna and found out that the boards come ready in AIRPLANE MODE and the company was just finding out this info and being slow with telling this info to their authorized dealers. I'm mentioning that here in case it helps anyone with connection issues.
