Price not only covered the new range, but it included delivery installation and the takeaway of the old range. Helped with bringing my gas line in the home up to code before delivery. One salesperson at home appliance was my connection to getting the whole job done.

Be wary of using Home Appliance for range‑hood installations. Just over a year after our…read morerenovation, the hood ripped straight out of the wall during normal cleaning -- because the installer didn't hit a single stud. Not one. They also drilled two screws into the flex duct, blocking a vent flap and potentially voiding the hood's warranty. That's not a small oversight; that's basic workmanship missing entirely. When we reached out, instead of standing behind their work, they wanted $138 to "diagnose" the problem they created. If I'd cleaned the hood a month earlier, it would've magically counted as "under warranty." Convenient timing. After 14 years of buying exclusively from them, it's clear the quality and accountability have dropped sharply since Mike Polk left. Family‑owned doesn't automatically mean quality -- sometimes it just means no one steps up when they mess up. In the end, I fixed the install myself, which I should've done the first time. I paid $250 for their install, and now I get to pay in time and frustration to correct it. That streak of loyalty ends today.

In early February, my three-year-old Bosch 800 series threw the E15 error code -- showing a leak…read moresomewhere with water puddling in the base of the dishwasher. Called Mr. Appliance. They were very friendly and came out to fix it on Feb 12. They fixed it ($179), and it lasted a week before it threw the same error code again. They came out and looked at it again, and recommended a part with a bigger fix, so we said OK, and we ordered it. On their third trip to our place they came out Feb 24 and installed that new part ($505). That fix worked, and the tech was very friendly, but a week later it threw yet again the E15 error code. I called their office in frustration and three days later they still hadn't called me back. So I called in again and they promised to come out and make it right. After another few days' wait, they came out again on March 10, looked at it, fixed it up, and that fixe lasted, yep, about a week. They came back on March 24 and recommended another fix (only a $30 part this time), and they installed it on March 28. This time I was assured it was fixed for real, and it seemed like it was running fine just like every other time the tech was here. But yep, the dreaded E15 error code came again three days later on March 31. So we've been eating off paper plates on and off for six weeks, Mr. Appliance has come to my house six times, made four repairs, at a cost of over $700, and my dishwasher is still broken. The tech is super friendly and seems knowledgeable, but he certainly hasn't actually fixed my dishwasher. They don't seem to have anyone else to send to fix it. Their management takes a few days to call you back even when you're obviously dissatisfied, and their only solution to make it right is to send their people back to repeat the same attempt. So if you've got an easy job, maybe Mr. Appliance will be the right fit for you. But if you've got a tricky job I can't recommend Mr. Appliance, while their techs are friendly you may find yourself wasting six weeks of effort and hundreds of dollars and yet have to replace your dishwasher anyways.

Your technician replaced the compressor on my Thermador wine cooler after diagnosing it as the…read morecause of the cooling issue. However, a little over a month later, the unit stopped cooling again. During the follow-up visit, the same technician identified severe corrosion on the heat exchanger and a refrigerant leak. Thermador later confirmed that the unit is not repairable, and I was forced to purchase a replacement out of pocket at a discounted price (which is currently backordered). I want to express my concern that this corrosion and leakage likely did not develop within such a short period of time. It seems far more probable that the corrosion was already present during the initial diagnosis and simply went unnoticed. If that is the case, the compressor replacement was only a temporary fix and did not address the root cause of the problem. I understand that I was informed that the leak is being treated as a separate issue and therefore not covered under the repair warranty. However, from my perspective, I paid for a repair which ultimately failed because the underlying problem was not identified or resolved. I sent you an email and I am still waiting for your reply almost a year later...

Unfortunately it started leaking and I called home depot who told me to call Electrolux. I called Electrolux and they made a call to the service people in my area. It turns out that was Total Appliance Repair. The first time they came they looked and did not see why it was leaking but said that Home depot who installed the machine did not level it properly. The repairman leveled the machine and ran a few loads and everything seemed ok for a day or two. Then it started leaking again so I called Total Appliance Repair directly this time. The person who answered the phone was very nice and apologized and said they could get the same guy out the next day which was great. Luckily I took pictures of the leak so the person could see proof. In the pictures I took he saw where it was leaking from and not where we originally thought. It turned out it wa s major problem where many parts needed to be ordered and replaced. The repairman was super friendly and seemed exceptionally goo at what he does. The repairman said he would order the parts and then they would call to reschedule a service call once they came in. It took about 2-3 weeks but all the parts finally came in and the same serviceman came and installed all the new parts tested the machine. overall my experience with Total Appliance Repair was great and the serviceman was really friendly and nice and very knowledgable. I would defiantly recommend Total Aplliance Repair for all your appliance repairs.

Daniil got back to us within hours and offered to come same day, describing what he expected to…read morefind based on my detailed information, and what he would do. We couldn't do same day, so we met the following morning. Just as hoped, the guy kept it straightforward, honest, helpful and as described. A little context: Originally Sears was out (yes, they still exist). Having repaired a few refrigerators, garage doors and operator control boards myself over the years, I knew things weren't right with these Sears guys (yes, plural -- well, one in training, poor sod). They weren't dishonest, really, just excessive. Especially with cost (...pretty obviously constrained by dinosaur policy -- what felt geared towards getting a fleeced customer to buy a new appliance from Sears). The Sears guys estimated a four-figure two-man project, including for two off-the-shelf generic machine screws, $37 each, parts only. (Still had to pay them for coming out.) Bless their little hearts. I can see how people get bamboozed by this blue-shirted Sears "professionalism". Hearing good things, I contacted Daniil. And in a little more than a day, paid an eighth of the price for way more, better, no-nonsense, good natured, in-and-out service. With warranty. (Sears' job was to be "As-is" for an older-ish appliance in excellent condition.) We're grateful, Daniil -
