I was all the way out here in Beaumont because we are selling an investment property in town. Previous tenants seem to have taken the garage door openers. So came into this local Home Depot to get replacement garage door remotes. I've been to a lot of Home Depots around LA and Orange County in recent years. I've noticed employees don't check on you like they did 10-20 years ago. There was a time when Home Depot employees used to ask everyone if they were finding everything ok. That doesn't seem to exist. However, at this Beaumont location, it does exist! They had a lot of employees in Home Depot aprons. Every one that passed by me acknowledged me first and she I was receptive they asked me if I was finding what I needed. It was amazing! The most important thing is they were all upbeat. And they really welcomed people in the store. Especially in today's world with ridiculous news, politics, road rage, crime, lack of civility, etc etc etc... Just went in for paint samples for bathroom remodel...no lights on in the paint dept. So I asked the millennial behind the counter if there were lights over the paint samples because you can't pick paint without light (which there were) and she replied , "Ya, I don't know why the lights aren't on". Does anyone remember what "service" was like? I do. It was lovely. If she could have cared less for me, she would have. Re: Beaumont Home Depot visit on March 6th. I had to have help with my Mini chain saw and met with Ben and Doug in the tool rental department. I was greeted with such kindness by both of these men who not only had the patience but also took the time to not just tell me what was wrong but showed me and shared all details while getting this taken care of. Not so good experience today. I'm not sure if it's just because it's the night shift or if it's specific staff. Two different employeees were not so kind today when I needed assistance. Once employee looked me up and down when I needed assistance because she was looking at her phone when I asked a question. The other was a lady(I think) with glasses and a long pony tail with darker hair ignored me at the check out and while I'm standing in line, she started to help the person behind me and acted like she didn't see that I was next. Ordered online bi fold doors. Waited nearly 2 months for delivery. Delivery notification states order will be placed on porch or driveway and that company will notify when delivery will happen. No notification was given. Delivered at night or early without notification and laid on driveway next to curb and lawn. Sprinklers completely soaked my doors next morning. You'd think delivery company (Non Stop Delivery) would take the time to carry doors to porch a few feet away. Even if they had not been ruined by sprinklers they could have easily been stolen. Home Depot should ensure the people they contract with for delivery will be more responsible. I now have to return and will now have to wait until doors are back in stock if I choose to reorder. The best customer service to resolve an issue that I have experienced in a long time. Most of the time , lately , if you have a problem you get told "sorry nothing we can do about it" but today a bright smile and a happy to help attitude saved my day and weekend. I was able to get the paint sprayer I need from Home Depot all thanks to Mina! The home depot app cancelled my order and the sprayer wasn't going to get delivered at all , even though the app showed 7 available for next day delivery. Mina listened to my problem and helped me get an in stock sprayer. She was so kind that it really turned a stressful day into a freaking ray of sunshine! Customer service they are extremely rude. I just got a new phone number last night in fact, and when I needed to put my phone number for my military rewards , I didn't have my phone on me. The lady said you don't know your phone number. Don't be ignorant you never know what's going on that's no way to answer someone. On top of that this same employee I had a problem with before. When I saw here again I already knew. Last time she didn't want to call the manager for her attitude. Here's a rant re: Home Depot's price adjustment policy. Went to the store to originally purchased 33-gal recycle bin trash cans. Noticed that 20-gal should be enough. Saw the price for $17.97 and decided to purchase a couple of them. Went to pay and realized that they charged me $19.97. I told the cashier and she told me to go back and take a picture of the label and go to the return desk for them to fix my purchase. The woman at the return desk went to go look at the item and came back and said that the label was wrong. I asked if she can do the pricing adjustments for the ones I purchase since the displayed price and even online shows $17.97. She declined. She cannot do that. I told her that how is it my fault that they displayed the wrong price and it's only a $2 difference. She declined and told me to just purchase it online. Why the hell can't you just price adjust the $2 since I'm already there in years of me buying it online and do a store pickup? That's dumb. Imagine how many people may have not noticed the extra charges. It's not about the $2 difference, it's more about the principle. Would Home Depot let me walk out with a $2 item? I think not. Getting there: This location is tucked in the corner of the parking lot so if you've never been there and you don't have your navigation going you might miss it. There's lots of parking but the lot can get crowded. Experience: We went there to get storage shelves for our garage and bins. The isles were narrow because they had little bins in the middle with holiday nicknacks. Their inventory was low on the shelves but we were able to get some that we needed. Where we really came up was the bins. They were less than $10 each. I always thought these bins were expensive, bu these were super affordable and they fit perfectly on our shelves. The shelves were really easy to put together. I would have been able to do it by myself, but they were heavy. read more

The WORST service ever!!! Me and my husband went to the Redlands location to order a patio set. They didn't have it in stock but they said Beaumont location had two. We go online and purchase one of the two and are told we can pick up today and will be notified when it's ready. This was around 10am. 5pm rolls around and we haven't heard anything yet, so I call to see if it's ready. The sales associate tells me they haven't picked it cuz it isn't in stock, and I can get a refund or wait until one comes in. Mind you, she has NO IDEA when another one will be in stock. We asked to purchase the floor model and she said "We Absolutly don't sell our floor models." I asked to speak to manager, which is when Katie gets on the phone and tells me she CAN SELL me the floor model but will not offer ANY discount. Seven transfers later we finally have it waiting for us at pick up and were told someone would help us load it. An hour later we arrive in pick up and call the number to have our stuff sent out... 10 minutes on hold I have my husband call and he gets through right away. Smh. A sweet girl brings our furniture out, put together, not boxed. It doesn't fit in our large suv so we begin to take it apart. She goes inside to get help. 30 min later someone (who tells us he just started a week ago) comes out to help us load. I tell him all my husband has is an Allen wrench, can u bring whatever drill y'all used to put this together to help? He says yes he will be right back. 45 min later my poor husband finally finishes taking the entire FOUR piece patio set apart with ONE TINY ALLEN WRENCH!! She was very transparent told me how every step of the delivery and installation will go, and she was so sweet! She answered every single one of my questions with patience and kindness. He told me they do have the bit in stock, but it recently came in so it was packed in a box on the upper shelves over on isle 19. Leon went above And beyond looking through tons of boxes just to find me that single tool to save my day! I'm so great full Leon took the time to help me out. The last two evenings I have had to make Home Depot runs and purchase items around 6:30 at night. For the most part, the store has been clean and organized, and when I come across employees in their respected departments, they can be helpful and for the most part can point me in the direction I need. Where this particular Home Depot is missing, the mark is in the checkout process. This Home Depot has gone through two transformations and recently now has a checkout line similar to a Kohl's or clothing department store. Home Depot you need to do way better. BUT the biggest negative experience that will make me never shop there again is their loss prevention and other employees that act like they are tough cops and everyone else is criminals. While shopping there my wife and I were followed and watched by an older bald headed guy. It got to the point were she felt uncomfortable like we were being stocked. I needed a charcoal/gas/smoker grill. I wanted the oakford nextgril the one priced at $699..so I went on Friday June 16th to the my local beaumont homedepot, mind you I needed it before father's day. After I purchased it they told me to wait for a boxed one because store manager Gabby had a problem selling me the assembled one on display, so I said okay fine, I patiently waited and waited I spend 2 hours there, waiting and dealing with associates in purchase process. As I waited and kids hungry in my truck and restless, I asked for the grill as associates walked by No one knew, so I read a sign if you purchase a grill for $399 and up, you get free assembly and delivery, so I informed the cashier of the situation, that i have been waiting for a long time, and now I informed her that I wanted to take advantage of that promotion of free assembly and delivery. She did the process of refund than do the delivery instead, I informed them that I needed the delivery the next day for I need it before father's day. They agreed but in the night I get an email that stated that my delivery was rescheduled for next Wednesday beyond father's day. I just called and cancelled the order, not only did I waste my time the 2 hours there, but they also ruined father's day so now I will travel to a lowes in Hemet, mind you I live in Beaumont where this home depot resides...this is the second time they do this. I shop at this Home Depot quite often. Lately I have been ordering on line for curbside pickup. Yesterday I decided to go in the store to get a programmable thermostat since SCE is offering an instant $75 rebate. I went on the website for Golden State rebates to answer the questions and get my coupon to use in store. I selected the Google Nest Learning thermostat for $249. The guy who tried to check me out could not get the coupon to work. His supervisor also tried. The supervisor called Jim the associate store manager to try and help he couldn't do it either. He went on to tell me the item I selected did not qualify for the rebate. I had printed a list of the model numbers to show them the one I picked out was on there. I even told the display in the store shows this item is part of the rebate program. He INSISTED it needed to have the energy star logo on the box. I asked him and the associate to look at the model number on the item. I told him it would start with a "T". Both of them appeared to be looking at the SKU. I even showed him the picture below. I left very frustrated. I went into Best Buy next door. That guy was able to quickly look at the item and confirm that model number T3019US is indeed part of the rebate program. I would have bought it from Best Buy. Here is my issue when I log back into the rebate website it has the coupon tied to Home Depot. I plan to go back to the store this morning perhaps there will be someone available who is more helpful. If you look really close on the picture right above the price it shows the T30xx model number. The last 2 digits indicate the color. I really was not picky about the color. All this to say that was a horrible experience. read more

Receipt information:  8987 00003 79883 1/15/2021 3:10pm Hello,  My name is Frankie, I'm emailing customer support to attempt to finally have a resolution to my issue.  On the date of purchase I was charged the wrong amount on my credit card. I handed the cashier more money then she inputted.  I gave her $171 cash. I was gonna pay the difference of the $1.24 on my card.  In the camera you can see me count out $100, $50, $20, and $1 She then counted it back out as well. Since I assumed the transaction was correct I didn't pay attention to the charge amount on the card reader.  Later that night I realized on my statement there was a charge for $101.24 from Home Depot. I called the store right before closing, and informed the associate that there was a mischarge on my transaction. She informed me that she'll leave a note with the morning manager to look into it. I left her all the receipt information and a call back number.  I didn't get a call back, I went in after work around 6pm the next day and the associate informed me the manager was gone for the day and the LP is off on weekends.  Since it was a holiday weekend I assumed they wouldn't get back to me until Tuesday, no biggie I can wait.  So I went in person the following week to see if they looked into the situation, I spoke with someone from customer service, and they handed me over to Scott.  I repeated my story all over again to Scott and he said they would look into and give me a call back. I waited again... So I went in a few days later after not getting a call from anyone, I spoke with customer service and they had me speak with Scott again.  Scott informed me that he was under the impression that the situation was handled after he passed it on to his LP department.  Another manager Jesus was going to call me after looking at the video. He informed me that they saw me clearly give the correct change to the cashier.  Apparently Jesus had set aside this money for me in the vault. He told me Jesus was off already and that would give me a call. I go in today to speak with Jesus or Scott. I just missed Jesus and Scott was off.  2/3/2021 **Here comes the annoyed customer vent**  Sorry it's nothing personal but hopefully you can see why i'm annoyed.  At this point I don't even want the $100 back, keep it, shove it up your derrière.   This whole lil issue could have been easily resolved with proper communication among the management staff. Not one time was I called. Not one time did anyone from the management staff inform me that LP looked at the video and I was in the clear.  This could have easily been done and over with in 7 days tops. *insert hypothetical phone call*  **Ringging*  Frankie: Hello?  GM: Hello Mr.Ortega, this is the manager from Home Depot. How are you doing today?  Frankie: I'm great any update on my issue?  GM: Why yes that's why I'm calling you today. After reviewing the video we can see you are right and are owed $100 Frankie: That's great! GM: Here's the thing: only the upper management can properly handle this issue. If you can come in during this date and time *insert time they will be there* we can take care of this for you.  Frankie: That would be great I can come in at that time.
