After reading all the reviews I have to agree, that's exactly what I went through. I'm going to start shopping at Lowes.

They said they usually come up on Tuesdays and Fridays. They did a quick diagnosis at no charge, this was on a Friday. They purchased a timer on MONDAY, came back up late Tuesday and installed the timer, $370.00. Was glad to have refrigerator again so went to smiths and stocked up again. The fridge was nice and cold but after a cycle it stopped getting cold again. I called them in panic but they said they couldn't get back to me until the next week, so I lost another $150+ in food again. They said a cold controller this time needed to be replaced but couldn't get the part until the following Monday. I accidentally tapped the cold controller (the THERMOSTAT) while placing my water bottle onto the top shelf. The Fridge came back on. So they confirmed that it needed to be replaced. I kept tapping the Thermostat (what they were calling the "cold control" every 4hrs for about 5days to save my food. but because I had to sleep it shut off in the middle of the night and I lost much of my frozen food again (the third time). The following Monday they contacted me saying that the Thermostat was no longer available so the Fridge can't be repaired. Sorry Buddy you're out of luck. Try placing "Duct tape over the cold control.. , were they kidding? My son was surprised that SEARS PARTS wouldn't have a replacement part. My son contacted SEARS PARTS. They had the Thermostat. I texted ADAM from The Appliance Guys, Co. with the information on the part. They confirmed it, I ordered it, it arrived two days later on a Thursday which was lucky since they come to Los Alamos on Fridays. I let them know I had the part. They said they'd be here the next day late afternoon. The next day on Friday, they contacted me to say that they had a cancellation by another person in Santa Fe. So, IT WASANT WORTH IT TO THEM TO COME UP TO JUST REPAIR MY REFRIGERATOR. "Great customer service?? " really? As a customer I'm not worth it to them??? Maybe next week?? Meanwhile the Fridge stopped working again, lost more food. they never returned and would not respond to my texts/calls! Consequently, I had to wait another week for SEARS REPAIR TECH to come finish the job, more lost food and another $225.00. The SEARS Tech swapped out the "actual faulty part" with the one my son found from SEARS PARTS DIRECT. The Tech also found loose screws, and missed timer adjustments. Avoid these "Guys" at all costs. Just call SEARS or I've heard DNS repair is good. So, it's off to SMALL CLAIMS COURT we go! Unless I receive a refund and get all the costs of lost food back from Joe and Adam..., "The Appliance Guys". PS, I'm 75, don't need that type of bullshit! Oh yes "No Senior Discount offered" either!!

This father and son duo were extremely helpful, thorough and informative. They also gave me very useful information about my current refrigerator and washer dryer. They also let me know if I have any other issues inside or outside my home, to let them know, and if they could not help me with the issue, they would find somebody who could. I'm very glad that I went with this company and I will be using them in the future.

He got right to work, cleaned the dryer well and replaced some drum parts that had worn down. He also cleaned the vent again and got up on the roof to verify hot air was flowing from the vent while the dryer was in use. Even though he didn't arrive on the hour, he still spent the two full hours making sure the dryer was working its best. He left everything clean. Overall, we are very pleased with the results and will call them again for other appliance repairs.

The door locked so we couldn't even get the clothes out. Honestly, we were fully expecting to be told that our washing machine wasn't worth fixing and we should just buy a new one. In a couple of hours, Tim got it running again like new. After that good experience, we asked Tim to do a regular service on our dryer. He was so thorough. I was surprised to see the whole drum removed. Even more surprised to see the amount of lint hidden inside the machine. The vent underneath our microwave had not worked in years. We'd had many repair people try to fix it in the past but with no success. Tim figured out the problem and fixed it very quickly. On top of everything else Tim was a very nice and conscientious professional. We'll definitely be calling him again next time we need an appliance repaired.

The salesman sent all the specs to the kitchen contractor. He never advised me that the wall oven may not be at eye-level when installed. I didn't think about it, and the kitchen contractor never advised me. The cooktop and refrigerator were installed when the kitchen was partly finished. I called the salesman to ask about the ice maker; the instructions weren't correct. He said he would come by after the ovens were installed to go over all the appliances. I then went to the showroom and discussed the oven cabinet with him. He told me that the cabinet needed some braces for the shelf, but that wasn't specified in the diagram, nor did the contractor tell me that. I had to have a custom cabinet built to get the ovens in a position they should be in, Then the ovens were installed the end of July. The salesman said he would contact me afterwards, but I still haven't heard from him. So my advice to future customers is to make sure your kitchen contractor tells you exactly where the ovens will be positioned before you buy them. The products are high-end and very expensive, and there should be post-installation service from Builders Source to make sure customers are pleased and know how to use the products.

Not only did it look dated it just wasn't up to par and by that I mean you could touch the burner on high and not flinch in pain. Heating up a pot of water would take a good hour plus. So we started looking online for the best bang for our buck and struck out. Either they were out of stock, wanted a ridiculous amount for shipping or way out of our price range. A friend recommended we give them a go, so on a Friday morning we walked in not holding our breath. We were quickly greeted asked what we were in the market for and pointed to the display area. Soon after Kenny came up, introduced himself, he was very pleasant and to the point. We told him we needed a gas stove top, 30 inches and stainless steel. We waited for a sales pitch and his response "You looking for the biggest bang for your buck?" We were perplexed...really no sales pitch on the most expensive item? No showing us tons of options? "Let me run to the back see what we have in stock and I'll give you guys a great deal." Well I'll be! He sure delivered. He found us a great stove top, great price, could walk out with it today. We like to compare prices so we informed him we'd mull it over and he was fine with that. He even gave us the option to shop around the competition and call him to see if they could match what we found or he'd give us his honest opinion of a good deal. Needless to say we went back later that day and purchased the stove top. In and out 5 minutes. The only miss was we had to go elsewhere to pick up the item but as it was on the way home it didn't put us out of our way. I'll definitely go back when the time comes to update the other dated items in our new home.

I just went to look around. The sales person Jorge said " that Conns would just run a inquiry on my report to see if I can get the 3 years no interest . I left the store so I could go continue shopping around like a normal consumer. I received an email from my credit monitoring service and realized that there was an open line of credit which I was again not aware of. This is shady for the company Conns to do. Which means it not only lowers your score but it looks like you are trying to open all these lines of credit. I called Conns to speak with Jorge the sales person to find why would he do that when I did not sign any paperwork for the loan. He gave me some lame excuse that this would fall off my report in 60 days . I was like what and why would Conns do this. So it looks like I have to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office under consumer complaints division. There is also the Federal Trade Commission to handle companies like Conns. I believe this is not legal for Conns store. The only way to stop this type of practice is to stand up to them. Hopefully this was helpful.

They will just stick you with half of what you paid for and then tell you that they can cancel the remainder of the sofa and leave you with an unusable set of furniture and a whole lot of empty promises. We purchased a sectional from Conn's. During the sales process, we were told that all piece were in stock and could be delivered the next day. We placed our order, at which point we were told that we were outside of their next day delivery area and would have to wait almost two weeks for delivery. No big deal, but then before finalizing the purchase, we were told that one of the pieces was no longer in stock and we would have to wait three weeks for it to be in stock, at which point we would have to come in to pick it up. Three weeks went by with no update, so I called and asked and was told that the remaining piece of the sectional was being assembled and that I was second in line and it would be another week, but they would see what they could do. A few days later, I received a text to schedule pick up at the warehouse and I did so. When I showed up at the locked and seemingly abandoned warehouse, I had to call the store so they could get me in touch with the warehouse who eventually let me in, only to tell me that the remaining piece of my sectional wasn't even in Albuquerque and there was some sort of miscommunication, but they could have it in the following day if we spoke to the store where we purchased it. We spoke to the store and they said it would be another week. Another week went by, and we called for an update and were told that the warehouse was closed and they would send an email and get back to us the next day. Another five days went by with no update. At this point, it is now eight weeks from when we placed our original order and we still do not have a complete couch. Every person we have spoken to has given us different information and keeps telling us to wait another indeterminate amount of time. Don't fall for the "we're a small local company and can work with you on anything". They won't work with you on even the most basic of problems and blame it on "policy" and "corporate".
