I am wearing orthotics for the first time and try to pair that did not work. Cashier became a shoe fitter overnight & does not know enough about her stock & how to find the right shoes. I was sold on a pair that is too long and too wide, and told that as long as the laces kept them on my feet, it was fine. Then I started feeling pain around the laces. I tried to take them back once and was convinced to keep them; they eventually showed dirt and we're refused for exchange or refund. I went to Ragged Mountain and got much better service and shoes that fit: an item that is probably in stock at Shoe Fly. I will have to try to sell these shoes that I was "sold on" via eBay.

Stepping in to this cute boutique shop, one feels as though they have just entered a set for Sex and the City or Confessions of a Shopaholic. It's beautiful inside, with comfy sofas, fancy chandeliers, and pretty flowers to complement the spectacular selection of fashionable clothing from designers such as Tory Burch, Donna Morgan, and Kate Spade. In addition, customer service is fantastic. The ladies working at Monkee's are all very friendly and helpful, and they made me feel so comfortable while I was browsing the store. I was never told about the 10 days policy and since I had gotten a text receipt - the policy was not in writing on the receipt either. They did not attempt to offer any sort of accommodation. A simple exchange would not have cost them anything as the shoes were 100% unworn. If the shoes were no longer in stock, I would have understood paying a restocking fee of a reasonable percentage in exchange for store credit. Instead I was RUDELY dismissed. I cannot recommend this shop based on this poor experience.
