I would give it a 5 star review because how helpful Jacob Yahav was to me but the bouncer Vishal was very rude and lost a valuable customer

The pink drinks are so delicious! My friends and I came for our senior bar crawl as an ode to the good old days, and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, served quickly, spacious patio. The sun is shining, the ice is cold. No complaints here. read more

1 star the bartenders insisted on a tip in stead of a tip at the end of the bill. She was rude the entire time and kicked me out after my second beer. Would not recommend unless playing 25% each drink. read more

Eric and Eliza are the baddest people and the best employee's known to man! Please stop by even if you are in Knoxville for 3 hours you have to try the wings!!!! All sauces are made in house and the ranch is to kill for! I give a 16/10 stars! read more

I called in an order tonight Monday 11/25 at 11:24pm, ordered a pound of buffalo garlic parm bone-in wings, a half pound of bbq bone-in wings, and onion rings. They were out of onion rings so I got buffalo chips as per the guy's recommendation. I asked for ketchup, they told me celery was included, and I asked for one blue cheese and one ranch. They said yep got it. I grab the order, come back to my hotel, there's 2 ranches and no blue cheese, the bbq wings are boneless instead of bone-in, there is no ketchup, there are no napkins for these messy wings so I'm in my hotel room using the Kleenex box, and there is NO celery and I should have got 2 orders of it. I usually don't leave reviews but holy crap. To top it off, I see a hair in my box once I started eating. I called to see if I could get some sort of reimbursement since I was not driving back out to the restaurant and my order-taker said he couldn't unless I was in the restaurant. Sigh... I wouldn't have ordered wings without the celery and the boneless wings just aren't good at all. The bone-in wings are actually good, but the buffalo chips fall flat. I'm sure this is a fine place to dine-in and have a drink, but this takeout experience was beyond terrible. Really bummed. read more

It's alright. I've only ever been on summer evenings, which meant that it's quite low energy. I came here on two wing Wednesdays, and was definitely not impressed. The wings were just okay and the service was alright. It's a good place to chill on a weekday evening if you just want somewhere to go, but just that. Also, the men's restroom is really disappointing - it's cramped and there isn't any privacy. read more

I've been going to The Hill for 9 years & always had a decent experience. Tonight 4/12/25 the bouncer made us leave because I pointed at him. He charged us a $20 cover, but he was outside eating out of a ziplock bag & talking to a female, so I kind of felt like he may have been a customer hustling us. I walked inside and asked the bartender if he was real. The bouncer seen me point at him & proceeded to walk in & tell me & my partner to get the fuck outside . He then proceeded to give us our $40 back and told us to "get the fuck out". I asked why and he said "you want to point at me & shit so you can get the fuck out". I tried to just explain that I was making sure he was real and he said "what the fuck am I a ghost". He seems like he may suffer from anger issues or trying to show off for the female he was talking to. If you go here I would recommend not pointing at the bouncer, or you may be cussed out and told to leave. He also charged the people that were outside as we were leaving $30 a piece. So I guess he just makes up the cover fee as he goes. I believe he needs to be fired before busy season starts or they are going to lose alot of business. I will miss the wings. read more

The same individual has tried to charge $20 cash each time we wont to go and get just food (At 4pm) We use to go every weekend for food and will not go anymore. He is completely unprofessional and have been told by an old worker that he pockets most of the cash. Do not recommend unless you want to get ripped off. read more

Bartender tonight had an awful attitude and got mad at people for not tipping. I understand if she just had a bad day but damn she sucked. Love this bar, very sad for to have a bartender be an absolute dick to every customer.:( blonde girl btw, not the other one read more

What is the deal with the owner/bouncer?!? Yes, $20/person cover...I'm sure pocketing the cash and taking advantage of college students and their parents...there was an altercation when we were there and the bouncer/staff was encouraging it. So, $60 to spend hundreds more on food and drinks at this establishment, possibly get in a fight, and get yelled at by the owner. No thank you. It's funny how many of the reviews below are sharing similar stories. read more

I will never return to this place. We went during our son's UT parent's weekend. The "owner" was extremely rude after we calmly spent more than $200 on food and drink. Knoxville must have better places than this. read more

Stopped by for a drink...The bartender was really helpful and friendly! Ambiance is a college town sports bar... so don't expect anything fancy! we definitely want to come back for their wings which they are most known for! Place is horrible! $40 cover for nothing. No band , poor service, expensive drinks . Go downtown!

The most distasteful group of individuals I've ever met. If you don't order they kick you out. I had asked my friend what they were getting and the bartender said "stop mouthing off." read more

Having to give this place even one star is painful. No one should ever step foot inside The Hill. We experienced so many awful things during our visit there during parents weekend, I don't even know where to start. The doorman was rude, vile, and yelled in the faces of people in our group when simply asked how much the cover charge was. Later on in the evening, I watched as the same doorman/bouncer not only stood back & watched as a large group of college students began physically fighting, but he actually encouraged the fight to continue. I think the worst part of our visit to The Hill had to be the disgusting 30yr old male bartender who screamed obscenities in my face when I tried to order a type of beer that apparently was only in the cooler for the owner's girlfriend, not for paying customers, even though it was front and center in the cooler. This man has zero business interacting with any customers. I have to assume he is a family member of the owners, because there is simply no other reason for this man to still have a job. UTK parents do not give a single cent of your money to this horrible business! read more

Miserable experience. I go with my dad from Home and am yelled at by the bartender for 5 minutes about how I wasn't ordering something off the gameday menu. All good, I order something off the regular menu and she continues to attack and be rude to me and my dad. Wait almost an hour for mediocre chicken, then left no tip only to be chased and kicked out of the building. Super aggressive bouncer grabbing me and my family for something you are allowed to do. Wish this place would be replaced. read more

We went because it stated they had award winning wings we are new here looking for a wing spot but unfortunately I would have to say no where near should they be given that award. Or the cook that was on tonight needs some more training... The wings were white like they were just dropped in the grease and pulled back out I had to come home and recook them. I also order a quesadilla with onion rings and received the 4 thinnest onion rings ever. I wouldn't go back but if you like it then by all means spend your money read more

We were on a road trip and took a long detour to stop by here to eat, they wouldn't even seat us because some people in our party are under 21, They was no warning on the website about this. We've eaten at countless "Bar and Grills" before without these issues. They have a kids menu so I'm quite confused. read more

One of my favorite bars on campus. Never had a bad time here. Lots of tvs to watch sports and a dj upstairs (some are better than others, dj ne4r was great). Food on wing Wednesdays is also great for the price and comes out quick. Only complaints are the lines and covers on busy nights. Great college bar for people of all ages! read more

The Hill - Pitcher of michelob ultra and pink drinks - Sports Bars Near Me - Knoxville, Tennessee

Our first time here. It is a definitely alot of regulars. College age. Parking is horrific. Very small inside. Boneless wings decent at $9. Beer battered fries were mislabeled as the tasted like ordinary French fries at $3.50. prices for those items not bad. No craft beer at all. They DO NOT itemize receipt and they charge extra if you pay with a card. So you really don't know what the drink prices are. We won't be back and I promise you they won't miss our business. read more

to Ira, Chase and Eric, phenomenal service, food and atmosphere. Honestly the best wings I've ever had in my life, and I have had them everywhere. the Mac and cheese was bomb, the ranch and blue cheese made from scratch is amazing, but the sauce selections are incredible! if you are in Knoxville you MUST come here and try their food. Spacious seating area, beautiful patio, and a great crowd. I'm very happy I got to experience this place! much love-Tony ps try the death shots on your wings if you are bold enough read more

Awesome food, lots of TVs, non smoking, close to campus.. great place to have drinks!

if i could give 0 stars i would, the bouncer michael k was verbally assaulting my friends and i, and handled situations very unprofessionally. To management please deal with this as i wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. read more

Fun bar ... great TV set up for watching football on a rainy Saturday.....but only ordering food at the bar does not encourage good service. We Ordered wings, bone in and without just now. Came out tepid and the fresh from the freezer bag inion rings were soaking in grease. And cold, too. Their "ranch" & blue chz may have been squeezed out of the same bag. 1 star for mediocre... no, for cold pedestrian food. 1 star for fun crowd cheering on the Vols. read more

Since the owner decided to respond to my review on Google be being a horrid condescending prick so quickly after I posted about our experience I figure I should let other sites know what to expect. this place stinks. i need a minimum of 85 characters but all i have to say this place stinks.

The Hill is located on Forest Ave on the fringe of "The Fort" and is visible from the Western Ave exit form I-275. The Hill, named for the property owner, opened in 2009 and is your typical college bar. Renovated and converted to a restaurant the building at 1105 Forest Ave sat vacant for years and I believe at one point the building was a full service garage. I dropped by The Hill on a Tuesday night for their "Taco Tuesday" special. The Hill offers daily food and drink specials, that are almost to good to be true. The Tuesday food specials are $1 tacos. I went in skeptical and sat at the bar. You have a choice of hard or soft shell and chicken or beef. I began my night with 5 hard shell beef tacos. The tacos were delivered fast and were visually full. The tacos were stuffed with a spicy runny beef concoction, shredded lettuce and queso blanko. The shells were crunchy but did get slightly watered down at the base. The beef was spicy but not to hot. The lettuce was plentiful and crisp. The cheese was mild. I followed the beef tacos with 5 more chicken hard shell tacos and to be honest they tasted about the same. The different textures of the meats is what distinguished them for me. The food wasn't that bad and it was cheap. The $2.50 imports were also a bonus. All said, I got a decent meal for $15. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The interior is dark, confined and dimly lit by the various TV's hanging from the walls. There is a patio with outdoor seating. The men's restroom is a disaster. A broken urinal and a stain from vomit on the stall wall. The chalk board painted walls are not forgiving, when it comes to hiding the drunken regrets of its customers. The restrooms poor quality drastically effected my review. If you can avoid using the restroom you will have a pretty good time. read more
