Adriana didn't offer another drink till the end since she was taking shots with her friends. Once she did she said, "you have four minutes to drink" at the same time the "friend" who she was arguing with came back. Her whole mood changed and yelled, "it's 2am you gotta get the fuck out" the clock is set 15 minutes ahead which is fine. But she then decided to argue with my girl friend and I. I just asked for the tab, she slammed it on the bar top and said, "get the fuck out" mind you I've been going there for well over 7 years. Bryn and Chloe always had great service.

In fact, I asked an elderly man next to me what he was drinking and he pulled out a recipe on a napkin from his pocket and invited me to take a picture of it for the future. Obvi, I did because anyone who carries a recipe he made up and included a little happy face at the bottom of the napkin is awesome. As soon as we walked in they asked us what games we wanted to watch. Whaaaat?! That's amazing. The place feels a little bit like a den...an old den but a comfy one. They don't have any food, per se, but they did have a crock pot with beans and Fritos to make a Frito pie. This is why they didn't get 5 stars. I'm a grazer...I'll order wings...then fries...then feel bad so I'll get a salad...then more fries. We left when we got super hungry and went to the next place...that didn't have any food either. Finding a football watching home is hard. On another note, we were pulled over by Castle Hills police as soon as we left. Apparently, it's a known fact that the speed limit is 35 (no postings in sight). We only got a warning and he was a nice officer so I'm passing on the warning - drive very slowly.

After a while the bartender Velvet (we learned her name later), would come out and ask if we needed anything. This is a rarity. Usually, we have to go to the bar to order so this was much appreciated. After about half an hour, we were able to move to the bar. Turns out Velvet is good friends with the owner and helps her out periodically in an emergency. As she was doing today. Her main job is with My Bar at Callaghan and 410. Velvet is very personable and efficiency. She will cut you off if she sees you are going overboard. Awesome. Erin, you are lucky to have such a friend to help you out. See you next time.
