We…read moreheard they had been very full lately and we were considering kittens because I had never raised an animal from an early stage. My only pet was a grown cat who adopted us. We fell in love with our kittens on our first visit, but they were not old enough to go home with us. Euclid Animal Shelter was so great, they let us visit them every weekend until we could take them home. They allowed us to put a deposit down to save them for us. One of babies was staying with a foster parent, so they even coordinated with her to come and visit with us when we were there. It was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. It was also the most affordable pet adoption I've ever heard of it, and it included their future neutering procedure. When I was leaving, they even gave me a little treat bag with a blanket, toys, and some food for our new family members. We could not be more thrilled with everyone and everything. The kittens are now home and they made themselves right at home right away. They were not scared or skittish like I expected. I can tell they were well taken care of for us! I will recommend them forever!!

I feel secure here as I am a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. I was treated way better here than anywhere else.

I was encouraged to play with the fur babies. And when we decided on a bonded pair of senior brothers who look more bovine than feline, WE were the ones treated like rock stars. Being able to get nearly all the essentials there with a teeny-tiny price tag was a sigh of relief and that money goes back into the shelter, too. If you or your charges have sensory issues, I would recommend ear protection as it does get loud, but that's just par for the course at nearly all shelters. This place is the real deal!

I'll rate my latest experience shopping for cat food over the weekend. The store is clean, organized, and usually well-stocked. It has seasonal items (like cute dog outfits and themed toys - Hello Kitty, how cute!). There are often pet food sales. This location has grooming salon onsite that's always busy. I was asked whether I need any help during my visit which is always nice. One constant inefficiency at this store is the checkout line. Usually only one checkout is open and line forms quickly. There was a usual very long wait for checkout. This time someone wanted to get fish promotion (buy 4 fish, get 5th free). It took multiple employees to figure out how that works. The customer had to visit the signage multiple times and take pictures to prove that it was actually happening. It was miserable. While bored in the checkout line, I picked up one of the dog toys for my dogs. I put it down immediately because it smelled like very strong paint or acetone. So much so that another customer could smell it. Please be cautious if purchasing toys for your pet. Overall, if you have a lot of time to spare, shop at this store.
