Groomers are top notch, caretakers are wonderful - creative in their "Report Cards." It's a great special touch . We made an appointment for a dog evaluation to have our 18 month old female German Shepherd attend…read moreday boarding 1-2 days a week. Arrived at our 8:30 am time and informed the staff. I was told to have a seat by the entrance door where customers were dropping off their dogs for the day. A man brought in his 2 Border Collies who immediately turned right and started to snap at our dog who barked back. Nothing was said to the owner of the Collies. He then dropped off some cookies and gifts to the staff and left. Still waiting patiently when a pug and a Doberman arrived and came up to our dog who again barked back. The woman who had the Pug came and apologized and she stuck her hand out close to our dogs nose and she tried to nip at her but did not bite. A few minutes later one of the staff approached me and I was told they would not take her as she showed signs of aggression. Mind you she was in unfamiliar settings with a lot of activity close by- how would most dogs respond? That was it, no evaluation, just an assumption of aggressive behavior. I guess it's all our dog's fault- not the the dogs of the regular clients. Did not even get an I'm sorry from the staff. We had this same dog board there overnight for a week one year ago- no problem. Condescending and rude behavior by the staff and clearly unprofessional. Moral of the story - be like Skippy the nerd and bring cookies! Will not be coming back and would not recommend! Merry Christmas!

The groomer said she was "overbooked anyway" Well guess what.... I noticed my credit card was charged for 124.00 dollars. Completely unauthorized . In fact, They kept my credit card number from the first time I went. I never said they could keep my card on file. It is fraud that they have charged my card without my permission. I have notified my bank and have filed a dispute. Another interesting fact, the first time I was there the groomer said she had to muzzle my dog?? He had been groomed with another groomer multiple times and was never muzzled. Unfortunately, she moved. I took him today for a full groom somewhere else and he was not muzzled. They also operate under smoochie pooch.

However, due to weather conditions she couldn't come to my home as planned which was totally understandable. She gave me the option to reschedule or come to her shop. I chose to reschedule and confirmed the date and time for Tuesday, January 27th at 1 pm. The groomer didn't show up, and unfortunately, I didn't receive any notification or heads-up about the change. I waited for a bit and then tried to get in touch with her but I couldn't reach anyone; which was actually disappointing because I was looking forward to my fur baby's appointment.

We've been bringing our Labrador "Cole" to Lucky Dog Club a few times each month since he was a…read morepup. We love the ability to watch him on live stream video and he loves going. As soon as we make the turn that (he knows) leads to LDC, he starts to whine and shake with delight. Once we park, I need only open the car door, no leash required! He launches himself at the front sore and repeatedly splays himself on it until I let him in, continuing to whine with anticipation. When we reclaim him at the end of the day, he's totally spent, docile and compliant. The staff is great and it shows. This is one awesome doggy day care and kennel, they segment the dogs by size and temperament. Everything runs smoothly. I heartily recommend Chagrin Valley Lucky Dog Club.

I was able to fill out and submit all the forms online. 5. They were able to confirm paperwork received meets all the requirements. 6. Boarding confirmed. This process couldn't have been any easier at least as a first time experience with this company. I'll update after complete with boarding process. So far so good.
