Once, Alex, the service manager, even sent a video of how to reinstall something. A stick got lodged in the mower last year causing the self-propel to not work and they helped fix it on the spot with no charge. They insisted on starting it at the store to prove that all problems were fixed. Excellent, excellent service.

It's turned into a total SH$t show. I like the people that work at the store and I've been going here for 20 years but the cut to their workers will make me probably go elsewhere. My mower still sits there as I write this. It's been two weeks since they picked up my barely running mower (which was just returned to me two days prior) and my mower has yet to be looked at. He came back two weeks later, after canceling us at least once, and he decided only one part needed to be replaced. Washing machine worked for one load and was again broken. After another week or two, Whirlpool sent out a different service repair company technician who fixed the washing machine within 15 minutes. We also purchased Epic Protect 5 year extended insurance when we bought the washing machine. According to the insurance, we are entitled to $50 for laundromat services. We have called and emailed epic protect multiple times and have not received any response. We also sent an email twice to our sales rep at home appliance regarding the insurance and asking for assistance, and have received no response from him. We have been happy with home appliance in the past, but obviously things are different now.

I needed to return an item and had the order number and receipt pulled up on my phone. Well, Jeremy at the customer service desk was able to turn a 30 second return into a 15 minute ordeal! When I showed him my return documentation, he said I needed to have a printed receipt and to go over to that kiosk, swipe my method of payment, and get a printed receipt. Before I was able to tell him I didn't have my Menards card with me, he was on to the next customer. I had to get back at the end of the long return line and about 13 minutes later, Mia saved the day and returned the item in less than 30 seconds.....the way it should've been done 15 minutes earlier. So, I can't recommend this location.

The non plant goods are also very nice...........but for years I've struggled and watched people much older than myself struggle to move the shopping cart over the dilapidated parking lot, not just that it's unsightly but it is difficult to maneuver a cart over. I actually met one of the gentlemen who who owns the store about 2 years ago and kindly asked him why he wouldn't fix the parking lot. His answer of " it wasn't being done " was because of adding more space for products. I know we are all trying to budget for the high price of things.............but I think for what we pay when we shop there it is certainly worthy of paving the parking lot . Even our Marc's parking lot in North Ridgeville is better. I spend about 800$ every year in Gayle's and I will continue to buy things there ..........but come on! Paving your parking lot is way past due.........that is why I gave them 3 stars but the employees and plants are 5 stars
