Last month when I had friends visiting we went to the Harts Head for Sunday lunch. I quite often eat out on Sundays so this was a new place. It is actually one of the nicest places I have eaten in for a long time. The resultant itself is on top of a hill really out of the way, the scenery is breath taking and I bet it looks great in winter if snow has fallen. You could order a 2 course meal for £10 each and the portions were fairly generous and very nice. We were sat by a table beside a nice coal fire. It was a really nice atmosphere, the fire was a big bonus for me it really gave the impression of home cooked food. The staffs were very nice and brought the food fairly quick. I am even thinking about ordering Xmas dinner here. read more
