We have taken guitar and piano lessons here for the last two years and could not be happier. The teachers are engaged and interested in teaching kids things that enhance their skills and keep them interested. The range of music you hear them teaching demonstrates their commitment to the student - not their own interests. I wish my parents sent me to this kind of place growing up instead of learning to read music for "Mary Had a Little Lamb". Bad enough for piano, imagine it for a kid that wanted to learn rock guitar. The space was recently spruced up and has a nice vibe. If you are interested in lessons for guitar, bass, uke, drums, piano and a few other instruments this place is definitely worth checking out.

Sergio from 247 Drums was easy to communicate with. I checked with the drummer after the gig who verified he got the type of drums he requested and was happy with what 247 Drums provided. Most importantly when there was an issue that one of their drivers called in sick Sergio quickly communicated to us about the issue and we were able to find a work around.

Maybe you can buy directly and in person at the store but by no means buy online, this business is not reliable and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired!!! We work hard and musicians make a lot of sacrifice to get the tools of the trade and apparently this is not important to 247 drums store!!! No excuse is enough to repair the damage!!!

As an adult I was hoping to learn how to figure out songs so I can understand how to play them myself. Maybe the feeling is if they teach you that you will have no need to keep coming back. The instructors seem to want to push their own agenda not necessarily what you want to learn.

I told the store owner what I was looking for, and he showed me what was in my price range. He also very kindly told me that I was welcome to try any of the guitars--even though I very clearly could not afford them! I thought that was cool! He left me alone to play the guitars. I was able to take my time--as I didn't really know what I was looking for. I was so happy with one of them, that I went ahead and bought it! I've had it for about 2 or 3 years now, and I still love it!

I could spend all day here listening to Gino Stories. I brought a 40-year-old bass here because the guitar tech in the back of the shop is phenomenal and regionally renowned. If not nationally. Despite being completely booked, he found time to tune it up a little bit and give me some great advice on my next purchase. I found this place on the recommendation of a small store in woburn center. The front of the store is all guitars and gear and gino. Yes there is a Gino at least I think that's his name. There are probably at least fifty or seventy five beautiful guitars and basses for purview and plucking, but you have to be very careful. Gino provides a great illustrious story for each instrument. And will talk endlessly about them. You can tell that he is a consummate guitarist end musician. Very outgoing. And communicative. I bought an old Ampeg cabinet a pedal and a soft-case for my bass. Very reasonable prices. Very reasonable advice. Fantastic selection. Not to mention the genius in the back of the store that can find a fix for anything and knows everything about anything guitar. Easily worth a 45 mlnute or more long drive to get here. You won't be disappointed even if you walk out of here empty handed. The place is a music school, museum and an ICU for stringed instruments electric and acoustic. One of a kind without a doubt. Is it the eighth wonder of the world? Probably not, but definitely belongs in Ripley's. You'll see, check it out

I don't write much posts on yelp but this place highly deserves it…read more Play music is a family owned music retailer and has an amazing collection of guitars, drums, bass guitars, keyboards and accessories.. To be noted, they also teach music. They teach music instruments, Guitar, Drums and Key boards. Trust me, the owner is an excellent teacher. I have tried in many places to learn guitar but after few classes I usually lose my interest. When I tried here, guitar teacher (who is also Owner) impressed me a lot. He exactly understand why and where I am making the mistakes and he will correct the course based on my speed. Also, when I make any mistakes, he will tell me where I am making the mistakes and explain me why should I correct it. This place is not like tradition classes, where they always go in one set of sequences which might not be suited for everyone. He takes individual interest on everyone and define the class based on the student. The best part is, he will remember exactly where he left and continue from there. I am really excited and enjoy every time I go to the class. Happy strumming..
