This is my 6th year coming to Kennebunk/Kennebunkport and now that I've found this gem, it will always be where I stay in town! The staff was incredible and I loved that guests had access to the kitchens in the houses to store leftovers and that water was left out for guests! The breakfast was also incredible and loved being able to sit out on the lawn and be able to enjoy my meal and to come back in the afternoon and just relax in the sun. I also had a late checkin and the staff made it incredibly easy to get in on my own. I really appreciate the little welcome gift that was waiting on me in my room! I highly recommend this place to anyone and literally everyone I meet. Will forever stay with this hotel group if I'm in a city they have a location! Side note: I overheard a conversation of 2 guests that weren't happy that it wasn't decorated like it should have been to be authentic, but with a quick look at the website, you can tell what you're getting, so just make sure you're booking the right place for you!

We ordered three dishes: skillet breakfast, fluffy pancakes and lobster with polenta (sorry, forgot the exact name). OMG. Those pancakes were definitely fluffy and the chef didn't skimp on chocolate chips. The skillet breakfast was savory, nutritious, side salad was a nice touch. My husband loved his polenta with lobsters, he was in the carboloading mood that day. I believe the rooms at the inn are great too; I heard other visitors commenting how much they were enjoying their stay. We would love to come back as guests next time.

I was happy that they provided yogurt was Chobani and actually had some protein in it (unlike most continental breakfasts that are a carb party). We rented bikes and kayaks during our stay. It was great that they had these for us to utilize. The bikes should be covered during storage, however. They were a bit rusty. This was the priciest place that we stayed during our 7 night trip, but I wouldn't consider it the best. After our stay, I do feel that our stay should not have cost us so much.

Well, due to liability issues, they would not allow me to borrow the knife but offered to have the chef shuck them for us (after signing a waiver!.....I hate where our country is, but totally understand!). We listened to live piano to relax us during a raining and "trafficy" day driving from down east and Acadia national park. Just one mile down the road from Walker's point (The Bush compound) I was really hoping that we might run into 'W' and Mrs. but to no avail. The room was well appointed and a corner room with beautiful views of the chanel. Picture commercial lobster boats moored at bouys as the tides rise and fall with the hours going by. A rainy day to start lead to clear skies and a beautiful bluebird sky with white puffy clouds to accent. Breakfast buffet included in the stay along with free bikes to use as guest made our stay complete. I only wish we had more time to spend here at the resort! Huge thanks for making our stay complete and fabulous!! Cheers to you all. Oh, I almost forgot, they have a shuttle that runs out to dock square every half hour. What a blessing.
