We drove all the way from San Diego just to try Halal Bodega on their grand opening day! There's plenty of street parking outside. There is seating inside and outside. Lots of space to sit! I loved that you can see the Hollywood sign from the front of the restaurant Service was fast and friendly. Abdul was very friendly and educated us about the menu! He had the greatest suggestion's! I love that the menu was small and simple. I wasn't overwhelmed with too many options. We ordered a single smash burger with everyone on it, the bodega special and the fries with everything on it too. Everything was soo sooo good! It was worth the 3 hours drive from San Diego with traffic. Super excited to come back!

The Halal Bodega finally opened its first brick and mortar! They started out in Irvine, but now they're right off Sunset Blvd. There's a parking structure nearby plus plenty of street parking. The space is huge, with lots of seating inside and a great outdoor patio too. Their menu has all the comfort food cravings covered: smash burgers, chopped cheese, wings, fries, and you can customize everything with toppings like jalapeños, pickles, or banana peppers. We ordered the smash burgers, chopped cheese, smash fries, and buffalo wings, and honestly, everything was so good. You can easily add or remove cheese, which came in handy since my dear old husband is lactose intolerant and we were sharing. Abdul, the owner, was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. If you've been wanting to check them out, this is your sign. And yes everything is 100% halal, just like the name.

Ahhh I'm so excited for this place because i've been loving their burgers since they were a pop up in the parking lot! It's a great smash burger that has a great bun, crispy edge patty, and great burger sauce. I love seeing a good halal option for a smash burger! Also they now have a chopped cheese on their menu that is ABSOLUTELY mandatory you HAVE to get it if you come!

Delicious smash burgers. Made to order! The quality is amazing! Great costumer service! I added jalapeños and they are fresh so the crunch it gives it so tasty! The wings have a nice crisp to them so even though they have sauce! The bread they use is nice and soft! All the flavors work well together and i love how thin and crispy the meat is!

crisped patty, soft potato bun, and thoroughly melted cheese- amazing 8$ burger pricepoint for great quality (: spoke to the owners who are two friends that started off as a pop up tent around Irvine and recently opened up their storefront in LA. super kind and they make great smashburgers, fries, and chopped cheese sandos!!

Wow! This place was a surprise. I was looking for food walking distance from my house and to have a smash burger spot near my house is a celebration. I got a double smash burger which was so yummy, it had crispy edges. The fries were exactly how I like them. Golden and crispy. I also got the Mango drink which was so thirst quenching and the perfect combo with the burger and fries. The guys making the burgers were so friendly, good vibes and good food. 5 stars and above +++

The food here was so good! The service was great and the staff was incredibly friendly. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend checking them out for sure.

I wanted to like Halal Bodega, and to be fair, the burger was great. But the experience overall was frustrating. You can get in line around 5:45 and still be waiting at 8:25. The process feels highly disorganized, and the staff often seems more focused on talking with friends than actually cooking or moving orders along. If they could get their logistics in order, this place could be amazing. But right now, and in the short term, I can't imagine waiting another 2.5 hours for a burger anytime soon. I'll just go to Hammer Burger instead. I thought I was saving the drive to Santa Ana, but clearly I could have gone back and forth four times in the amount of time I waited.

Amazing smash burger! Got the double with pickles on the side. The hitter sauce had a sweetness to it. Enjoyed every bite. 9.5/10! Will come back!

This location gets my order wrong so often, I'm convinced it's by design to make the numbers look good. The manager gets away with it because ALL YOU SYCOPHANTS refuse to under-rate them when YOUR order doesn't go as planned. Most of America gets away with subpar service because a significant proportion of the Public can't be bothered to report or refuse to report so they can feel part of the In-N-Out Burger Cult. I order the same meal every time, with two fries and I only get one. They're often stale and resemble classic potato chips. I order a strawberry or vanilla shake and half of it is blended with chocolate. The burger is just meh at this point, nothing special, somewhat dry and small. Very disappointing experience…read more I visited this Shake Shack on Friday around 2-3 PM, when temperatures were close to 100°F. The lobby was closed, and customers were expected to sit outside in the extreme heat. The manager informed customers that the lobby was closed but did not provide any explanation as to why as there was no construction going on and the tables were clean, with nothing wrong with them. There were children and elderly customers outside, and I was also working with an adult with autism at the time. I found it extremely concerning and unprofessional that customers were left outside in those conditions while the restaurant continued serving people. I understand that there may be operational reasons for closing the lobby, but customer safety should still be a priority, especially during extreme weather. On top of bad customer service- service was slow. A formal complaint has been reported to Shake Shack regarding this incident, and I hope management takes the matter seriously and reviews what happened at this location.

The Texas Toast was fresh, but not warm at all and boring in taste. The Coleslaw was awesome and tasted great. If you like cold and creamy slaw, you'll love this side. Unfortunately, it's a real tiny portion. Just like the Tucson location, the food comes out super fast after ordering, and the employees are super friendly and helpful. The meal at the Tucson location was very warm compared to this location in Hollywood. I'll probably visit a Raising Cane's restaurant again, but they need to work on sending out much warmer food. Let me tell you my great experience that I had on the 1st of this month around 6:30pm. Got an excellent service/welcome by Alejandro with a nice smile. I already knew what I wanted to order, but he still gave me few of their delicious menu options. So I let him explain, and placed my own order, in my own way. I have been to this Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen years ago, when I used to work in Hollywood. Actually three times. Those were before the Yelp years. They have many different options of drinks, dessert (churros and apple pie). Also, different options of chicken. I ordered their Classic 4 piece dark meat (2 legs & 2 thighs), a small coleslaw, 2 biscuits, a small rice mixed in with beans and no drink. Stayed with my own water. The 2nd biscuit substituted for the drink. Also got some fries at the bottom of my chicken, and 2 orders on top.. in addition to my order. 1 breast and one wing. Food came out hot, crispy & fresh. It wasn't too salty, nor was it too greasy. Didn't take long for my food to come out. Literally 5 minutes. I timed it, also got 4 sauces. Restaurant was very clean, and there was another employee sweeping outside as I walked in. It wasn't even dirty.
