I absolutely LOVE, Crystal! I recently started going to her for my hair, first for hair color, and I loved it! I always asked other hairdressers for 'caramel' highlights and no one could ever get it right..until Crystal!! She even writes down what treatment she gives you so that on your next visit she can tell you exactly what she did the last time. She's very organized! I decided to try her out for a haircut today, unsure if she would be as good as she was with color, because I've had hairdressers that are awesome with color, but don't know how to cut hair, needless to say, I was blown away!! She worked her magic, and I love, LOVE, my haircut! I've received many compliments :). Her new salon is super chic, comfortable, easy to get to, and very modern. I always look forward to getting my hair done by Crystal, because it's just like paying a special visit to a great friend. She offers beverages, makes you feel at ease and very comfortable, and always listens to what you have to say! Time flies when I'm there because she always engages in such great conversation. She's a very talented, creative, genuine person, with a big heart, and I would HIGHLY recommend her! I will never go to anyone else again. I'm very happy I finally, after 10 years, have found my go to girl! read more

Before moving to Austin I was using one of the top stylists in the DC area so I was a little nervous about using someone new. I read Crystals reviews on yelp and decided to take a chance with her. When I set up my appointment I gave her my previous formula and she seemed extremely knowledgeable, nice, happy and thoughtful. When I showed up at her studio she spent several minutes discussing what I wanted and she matched the color perfectly. On my next visit I asked her to take the reddish under-color out and she did a perfect job again. Then we decided to highlight my hair, she highlighted just the right amount. Did I mention that she is the best hair stylist I have ever used, she is extremely talented! My hair has never looked better in my life, she totally understands it! She revised my hairstyle and it now looks full, updated, and shiny. I look like I am in the year 2012 instead of 2008. People routinely comment about how great my hair looks. Where to start! I've known Crystal for a couple years now, She always does an AMAZING job, So I knew I wanted her to do my Bridal hair for my Wedding day! We had a super fun trial and she listened to EVERY detail I had asked of her and even suggested more. I had three bridesmaids that also needed bridal hair done, "no problem!" she said. So the big day came, and like every bride, (as much as I dont want to admit it) I was STRESSED! We pulled up and walked in to Mumford & Sons playing in the background and chilled champagne ;) We gossiped and laughed the entire time (as a hair appt should be) and before I knew it, It was time to leave! Crystal set the scene for my wedding day. I walked in completely freaking out, and walked out with BEAUTIFUL Bridal hair and a 'can do' attitude! I LOVE YOU Crystal! You're a FANTASTIC Stylist! xoxoxoxo read more

I am so excited that I finally found Crystal! She has been doing my daughter's hair and her friend's hair for years and they have always looked amazing, so I figured why not give it a try and spice up my life a little bit with new hair? Well, she has been doing mine for almost 2 years now and I will never go to anyone else. If you are looking for a stylist that knows how to make your hair look the best it can, Crystal is THE stylist for you. I've followed Crystal since she was in hair school years ago, even though she's moved all over Austin, and she is WORTH going wherever she ends up. One of my luckiest days was when my previous hairdresser quit the business. My daughter located Crystal and loved her so I went. I had been disliking my coppery hair color (trying to disquise the grey) and had been working to get it more natural looking without success for over 1.5 yrs. Crystal put in low and high lights and viola! A hair color that is more natural looking and blends in with the grey as it starts growing out. In addition, I love her hair cuts! I have fine straight hair and not a lot of it. The last haircut is a Bob and I can't believe that my hair looks so good! Try her and you'll love her too!! read more

Let me start off by saying Crystal is amazing. Not only does she have a great personality and sense of humor, but she's got some mad skill. I seriously drive from san antonio just to see her... yes, she's that good. Half the time I'm not even exactly sure what I want, and give her freedom to do what she thinks will look best and it always turns out great. There were a couple of slots available for that day and the next but waited until today. I was a bit nervous booking an appointment because I have had some terrible experiences last few months after my good friend/stylist had to stop to care for her 3 gorgeous babies. It was so bad I just decided to cut my own hair. Yea, that's pretty bad though I must say I did a pretty fair job thanks to my husband who helped straighten out the back a little :) So I checked out the reviews, crossed my fingers and held my breath because I booked the appointment for a time right before my shift started. So I had NO time to "fix it" before heading in to work. Charlotte had just finished up with a client as I walked in. She was very friendly, told me to have a seat so she could sweep and then welcomed me over to her seat. She was very attentive and receptive to what I wanted done. She told me what she would be doing and I closed my eyes and and thought happy thoughts as she massaged my head during the hair washing and then again, during the start of the hair cutting. She knew I was a little apprehensive so she kept me talking and seemed very genuine when she asked me questions about my kids, and life etc. As she worked she asked me what I thought and made sure that's what I wanted. Very sweet girl. When she was done I asked her to add a little volume to the top of my flat head and without hesitation she did that and once she was all done, I LOVED it! Very happy with Charlotte who by the way added me to her Monday schedule when it's super difficult to find someone! Also very happy with Jenn who was very prompt in returning my email. She also worked with my schedule because I work nights and I need the latest appointment available so I'm sure she had to coordinate with Charlotte. I had to change one of my choices because I went out on a date with my husband and she was sweet telling me to have a great night with him. She could have just ignored that but she chose to add a little bit of personality to what could have been a very impersonal email. That says a lot to me. I'll definitely be using Charlotte's services again!
