The spin class was tough but in a good way - it was well cued so you knew what to expect for each phase and the instructor was motivating but not over the top. It was a super approachable workout. Whoever thought of adding a 30 min yoga class as the second half of this is genius. The idea of a slower, super stretchy calming yoga session after an intense ride is so nice. It was exactly the right balance. The staff was all so kind and welcoming too, noticably so. I loved the vibe and the options here - even though it's a bit of a drive, I'm definitely excited to become a regular!

They built me up and made me very excited to join, but at the end asked for $499 that I would "get back at the end, if I did not want to continue after 6 weeks." If I like the gym and like the trainers, I do not want to leave just to get my money back after 6 weeks, so what's the point? There is no "free" anything about it. It is false advertising and dishonest. I'm actually pretty pissed off about it. I was willing to do the six week challenge and then become a committed member once I saw results and felt like it was a good fit for me, but regardless of how they want to justify why they have you pay upfront...it's still FALSE Advertising. I left this place feeling deceived and poor, so thanks guys!

John Bassford and Chris Garner are incredible at the sport itself but also possess a seemingly endless supply of energy, patience, and eye for detail. They will not coddle you, but they also will not make you feel stupid as you learn. And learning is what they want you to do. It is hands on, you will work with others in the class respectfully, they insure that. There is a limit anyone can learn simply practicing alone or with someone who will not challenge them. This is not something you need to take into consideration at Undisputed. If you want to improve you will have to suffer the pain education brings with it. Undisputed understands this. They will not antagonize this inevitability. Any rivalry that springs into being from sparring is kept amicable. For those with lousy vocabularies this means respectful, friendly, maybe even fun. All skill levels are embraced and all are welcome. It is a rare community, a real community, a place where you become part of something greater and are free to roam and lift weights or tap into the dynamic teachers who are there. Finally, Cassie worked with me on payment plans and proved that not all gyms are rigidly fixed on taking your money. She was accomodating and fair. I do not know any other gyms that can be said about.

The staff is courteous and helpful. The Lohse Family Y is clean. People are respectful for the most part cleaning off the machines after they use them. Go into a locker room. There you will find the details of cleanliness. Clean as a whistle. No debris or anything laying around. Bathroom was spotless. Huge selection of exercise equipment. A whole room dedicated to free weights. Swimming pool which we did not use. Pay to park on street or in the next door City of Tucson Parking Garage. Get this $15 per month. Not downtown Philly for $40 and up. If you should wish to continue bettering your health through exercise here in Tucson, this a good place to go. Thank you Belina for running an efficient YMCA.
