Location, location, location -- it's one of the most charming plazas in the city, so showing up for a workout here just feels good. This studio brings the full F45 energy: fast-paced, effective workouts and a genuinely welcoming community. They're also on ClassPass, which makes it easy for travelers or locals bouncing around different studios. What really stands out though is that it's more than just a workout spot -- they host community events, run clubs, and social gatherings, so the vibe is always lively and connected. Every time I've dropped in, it's been a great workout with great people. Always a good time here.

My first class was with Cameron and Micaleigh and they are easily some of the most attentive, enthusiastic, and encouraging coaches I've met. Gracyn, Marley, Cameron and Micaleigh are all patient, educated and invested not only in your progress but in your safety. As someone with previous injuries, I was hesitant to try group classes. If you share this concern, at F45 you can rest assured that every class has coaches ready and able to modify any movement/workout to ensure it is tailored to your needs/past injuries. Bottom line, whether you're looking to start your fitness journey or just join a new gym I strongly encourage you to sign up for their 7-day trial and find these coaches on the schedule!

This is a real community gym--clean, modern, well-organized, and welcoming without being intimidating. The space itself is impressive: open, bright, and thoughtfully laid out with quality equipment, plenty of room to move, and clearly structured stations. Everything feels intentional and well maintained, from the strength rigs to the cable machines. It's functional training done right--no chaos, no overcrowding, just efficient use of space that makes workouts flow smoothly. What really stood out to me was the people. The coaches are approachable, attentive, and clearly invested in making sure everyone feels supported, regardless of age or fitness level. You get the sense that this gym is designed for people, not just hardcore athletes--which I genuinely appreciate. The vibe is motivating without being pushy, and inclusive without watering down the workout. Bonus points for the details: clean locker rooms with showers (huge plus), water stations, and a front desk area that actually feels welcoming rather than transactional. Even the branding carries a strong "you belong here" message--and it doesn't feel forced. If you're looking for a well-run, community-focused strength and conditioning gym in the Foothills that balances structure, quality coaching, and a supportive environment, Block Fitness is absolutely worth checking out.

Many class times to choose from on weekdays. As for the other 90%: 1. Those extremely young, spirited coaches understand *nothing* about aging and necessary exercise modifications. Not worth $189 a month. 2. Neither the coaches nor most of the clientele appear to be strong, fit, defined or athletic - even after YEARS of OT. 3. Coaches don't correct bad form. Even if you're doing something egregiously wrong that's likely to get you injured. 4. They hit you with charges and fees at every opportunity - a late cancel, a membership pause for medical reasons; etc. 5. People talk throughout the workout. Incessantly. Shush! I'm trying to hear the Greatest Frat Boy Party Hits Mix of 2004! 6. If you raise an issue, the poorly-trained front desk folks will say "it's in your contract" or "there's nothing we can do." 7. You will never reach anyone in OT Corporate to address any of these issues. 8. They appear to report and delete negative Google reviews. Bottom line: OT in general, and the Casas location in particular, is a money-making machine run by people who know very little about exercise kinesiology, but are EXPERTS at making every single buck they possibly can. That said, there's usually plenty of parking.
