I went in there last month to buy a gun and boy what a mistake. I try to support small business over corp, but in the end CORP Won. I understand a few things about customer service but these guys don't know when to shut up about politics and unwanted opinions. Jeez-us Christ man get a grip if you don' like California ---LEAVE. OKI called the store to check inventory on some duty ammunition that I needed for work. I told the gentleman that answered. I needed 3 different types of ammunition. And I gave him one and then after I gave him 1 to check. He said no, we don't have that and they just hung up. And I tried calling back and every time that I said hello, he says.Sir we don't have it and hung up again. I remember the owner of this store.Tell me a long time ago when they first opened the store that his son had the just guns over by Denny's and he moved out of California and sold the business.Just guns was very good business.I'm sad to see the carry over to this store has greatly diminished. read more

Very smooth and straight forward process. I went in, took the test and bought a Glock 19. I assume the person who helped me is the owner. He was helpful and answered my questions. It's a small store, so you're not getting the selection you would see at a big box store but the price was competitive and I would rather support a local business. The process was simple: Do a needs analysis, get pointed a direction, take test, buy gun based off analysis, wait 10 days, receive gun. Short and sweet. Short of the story. Went in to buy a firearm. I was put on delay. Guy in the store said he didn't know why I should have gotten a letter explaining why. I i just got delayed that day I dont think they can get me a letter out that fast. Days later after I did receive a letter. I did what I had to do to move things along. 3 days before my 30day waiting period is up i come down to the shop to ask what's my status. It was like the guy already knew who I was and said "you were denied call this number and ask them why". The number he gave me did not help what so ever. It's just a recording of the firearm laws. We all know I cant blame the store for being denied BUT the guy simply told me "I dont know you need to contact the DOJ" I was never given a NTN number or even told about NICS. Maybe I am wrong but I should have been at least told about NICS. I had to find out about this on my own. I think they could have giving me a better response than "i Don't Know". I am sure I am not the first person to be denied a firearm from this shop. read more

This place is weird, paranoid maybe definitely a different kind of gun store. Very helpful and friendly. Inventory SUCKS. Low or no stock on everything. Consignment revolvers I noticed were to say the least beat up and I mean tumbling down a 10000 ft. Rocky mountain; beat up! Way old, beat up overpriced period. Like 800 bucks for a s&w 38 with more dings and dents than a 1968 VW Bug. Bad practice when I asked they told me consignors could ask what they want and what good is a gun if you don't use it... Ridiculous, used not abused be weary of this place something just dosen't feel right! read more

I wanted to be fair and update my review but I can't so I'm leaving another. I thought they were scamming me by not releasing my firearm because my application was undetermined. It seems this is pretty common. Most shops will not release them until fully cleared by DOJ. Some shops will and I will be doing business with them. My bad. If you don't have any problems with DOJ delays this shop is fine. read more

The store is clean, but not fully stocked only because the demand for weapons has been greater lately. That's good for business. However, they do their best to accommodate customers. Have made three significant purchases from Joe and Gary. I have always been treated respectfully, have found the guys to be helpful even when they are busy. They have always been helpful in seeing that I understood what I was purchasing, providing helpful information and willing to answer any questions! I suspect that if like me, you have a clean background, and that you will be background checked, wait ten days before you can take delivery of your items and understand you have to have your FSC and will do paperwork etc...I can't understand why you would have a problem with the guys at the store. Ordered a gun. The guy ordering the gun said that the gun should be here in the next day or the following day. I waited the ten days. On the tenth day, I heard nothing so I called to make sure it is ready to be picked up. The old guy answered the phone and didn't know what was going on so told me he would call me back right away. I waited 30 minutes and heard nothing, so I called the store again. This time the lady answered. She said that they had received the wrong gun, and that the right gun is going to arrive tomorrow. Now I have to restart the ten day waiting process. Shaddy ass people. They didn't call to tell me that there was an issue with receiving the wrong gun. If I never called, they would have never reached out to me. Since I called on the day that I was supposed to pick up the gun. Take your money somewhere else. read more

Very polite, but not a huge selection. Service was good but they didn't have what I was looking for.

If I could give no stars I would. I have two guns on consignment back when it was Just Guns. They closed and moved without a call or anything. So I figured out they rebranded. I've called three times trying to get my guns back. All three time I'm told they'll call me back. No call at all. I have the original paperwork with serials numbers and everything. Why won't they give me my guns back. Ive consulted an attorney who says we have a solid case and I have the means to move forward with this lawsuit. Beware. They will steal your firearms and leave you hanging. I just want my guns back but nope. They can't do that. Or even a call or give info on the status of my guns or the process to retrieve them. I'm filing a law suit against them and have all the evidence to win. I hope the owner sees this and understands how serious it is. A lawsuit can shut down a gun store. And they already closed down one. Both guns and a scope mounted on one of them total almost $3000. Beware and go to another gun store. read more
