Hello I ordered online a beautiful spray of lowers for my brother's funeral. All the siblings got together and decided to send a big beautiful one. I was at the church when it got delivered and the card on the front only had the name of the church, NOT who they were for. And inside was a message of condolence only. It did not say who they were from. Good thing I was at the church and not in another state, I was able to tell my family who they were from. So I called this company and they said, "well, that is how it was ordered, don't know what to tell you." I took a screen shot of my order with all the names, but the lady was not interested. I am letting everyone know how they treat their customers and who sends flowers to a funeral with no names. Don't use the Growing company. read more

I used this wonderful company 4 years ago for my wedding. Made a darling palm tree centerpiece with fruit & veggie Now I'm making it for my friends wedding reception. I called & spoke to Heidi this morning I had a last minute item I needed (10 palm leaves) & she ordered it & said I can come get it in 2 hours. Great customer service & very sweet over the phone. I stop here sometimes because my favorite flower shop is about 30 minutes away. The selection here is always hit or miss. Sometimes they are an okay selection sometimes they don't. the prices are very high for what you get. I got a selection of two roses, some wildflowers and one bunch of spray roses for about 40.00, which seems high. The owner and the people that work there have always been extremely rude. They all look like they really don't enjoy being there and it seems to bother them when customers come in, at least that is the vibe I got. Judging by the other reviews you would think they would step up their customer service and try to be friendlier. I love to support good local businesses, but needless to say I will not be going back to The Growing Company. I would rather drive an extra 30 minutes to get a great selection, better prices, and customer service. read more

Interesting to read reviews after you do business with a company! I called the day before my mom's 75th birthday because of their proximity to my mom's apartment. The woman I talked to was so friendly and helpful! Next-day delivery wasn't a problem and it was delivered by mid-morning! The woman on the phone worked with me regarding my mom's allergies to certain flowers and their pollens substituting out lilies and putting in daisies. My mom got her flowers and just loved them! They were beautiful! They were fresh! I was 100% satisfied with every aspect of this transaction! I guess as someone who was purchasing an arrangement of flowers, I was very careful to make sure my mom was there to get the delivery. When I found out that she might not be, without telling her what to expect, I made sure she'd made arrangements for someone to accept the delivery for her (and put a note on her door to that effect). As it turned out, they delivered the flowers before she left for the day. read more

Tami I believe her name is, was very rude over the phone. She very clearly needs to be trained on how to talk to people on the phone. She is very curt and actually pretty rude. The attitude of "I can't be bothered" has cost you guys. I don't work with flowers so how am I supposed to know what you can or can't do. This is why customers call you. If you don't want phone calls then don't be in business. Needless to say, wouldn't order from here. Veldkamps helped me out and were nice and put together exactly what I needed and guess what?????? The Growing Company is wonderful to work with, I've had some great experiences working with them for both funerals and my wedding. Leslie is absolutely a pleasure to work with - she is helpful, open to unique and new ideas and has no problem doing custom designs. The flowers are always fresh and beautiful and the prices are perfect, you never feel any pressure to spend more. Leslie helped me with my arrangements, corsages and bouquet for my wedding. We had some unique and different ideas to incorporate some uncommon items into the floral pieces and Leslie listened and gave some great suggestions. The flowers were delivered on time and so fresh and beautiful, I cried when I saw my bouquet as it was more beautiful than I imagined it would be, it was absolutely stunning and perfect. They have delivered my flowers to the crack heads next door to me--who I don't even speak to. Idiots. I will NEVER receive this delivery. For the past two years, when I've been sent flowers, they just kept them at the store and I came for them later. WHY would they think it is OK to give my delivery to strangers? If they wanted to deliver them to neighbors, why not call me BEFORE rather than AFTER leaving them with people I don't get along with? If they had bothered to call, I could have TOLD them which neighbors (on the other side of me) would have been best to hold onto my delivery. CRAP! read more

The Growing Company did a fine job of a bouquet for my husbands birthday! The bouquet I selected was to have White Lilies, which they were out of, but they suggested a comparable replacement. It was still beautiful and if you hadn't seen the pic you'd never know what was replaced. They also were delivered in a timely manner given they were busy on the delivery date. Thank you!! The flowers were good quality as they remained beautiful without signs of wilting for well over a week! (I've had flowers from other places that wilted into the 2nd day). I would recommend The Growing Company to anyone looking for a friendly company with good quality fresh flowers! read more

This was a rather disappointing experience. We ordered all our center pieces for a gender neutral baby shower and specifically said no pink and no blue. The flowers were supposed to be delivered Saturday later afternoon since The Growing Company is closed on Sundays. The flowers were delivered Saturday morning at 9:00am and were pink. They did correct their error and change the flowers to yellow. The flowers sadly didn't even last 2 days. read more

Had them do the centerpieces for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Ordered 9 centerpieces and 3 bar table arrangements. They were absolutely beautiful! Could not have asked for more. We are sitting here a full week later and still enjoying the one or two that we managed to take home! They were a huge hit! We would use them again for any floral needs whatsoever! read more

This shop is very convenient because it is close to my office however, every time I go there I feel like I am troubling the ladies working in the shop. They make me feel unwelcome and unwanted. This place has to be the ulitmate worst. My daughters birthday and she gets 5 tulips and my credit card is charged $52.98. When I called them and asked them to explain the charges all they did was blame it in on the internet company I went through. They took no responsibility and could of cared less to try and make it right. DON'T EVER USE THEM. The company that farms it out to them isn't any better, that company is Wesley Berry Company and they were even worse if that's possible. Actually they were even more rude and stated that the flowers I purchased were not the one's pictured... HELLO, why would I buy 5 tulips for $52.98?? I have since found that they have 560 complaints and over $31.000 in claims with the BBB. This is called FRAUD people. Has to give one star which equates to -100 in my book. read more

We used this local florist for our son's funeral. The manager, Leslie, listened to what I wanted and created original beautiful arrangements which all coordinated in colors and types of flowers. She was very helpful, knowledgable and artistic. She showed us different types of flowers, and let us hand pick vases. We couldn't have been more satisfied. The flowers were delivered to the church 2 hours before the funeral as promised. I had reviewed internet choices of funeral floral arrangements to get an idea of what I liked. This florist made original designs with fresh local flowers and was competitively priced. read more
