HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS METRO GROCERY STORE…read more BACKGROUND - My family spends $2000 / per month on groceries. - I have been buying our groceries at Wal-Mart and the Real Canadian Superstore. -I visited this Metro recently because I was in the neighborhood and needed a couple items. OBSERVATIONS -The store is very clean - spotless. -The store is fully stocked and the organization of the shelves is very impressive - especially in the produce department, but also throughout the rest of the store. -The quality of the produce is WAY better than anything else I have seen in the area. I also like that they stock a good selection of organic produce. -Very good selection of meats, seafoods, and baked goods.  And the bread is fresh. - A reasonable wait at the checkout. The cashier was friendly and fast. -It's easy to get around the store and yet the selection is good for a store that is quite a bit smaller than where I'm used to shopping. - The prices were noticeably higher than Wal-Mart. CONCLUSION Overall, I was delighted with my experience at this Metro!  Everyone there must be working very hard! Despite the higher prices, I am going to move the vast majority of my budget and shopping visits to this store. So long as Metro continues to deliver such an outstanding mix of benefits, I will keep giving Metro my business.

This Farm boy location is a gem ! Everything is so clean and orderly ! Staff are super friendly and…read morethey have cute monkeys hanging in the vegetables/fruits section ! The bakery section is my personal favourite !!! We bought macadamia white chocolate cookies and cheese croissants awhile back and my bf and I were in love ! Today we bought chocolate croissants and a watermelon from there and it did not disappoint ! The chocolate croissants are sooooooo delicious and tasted super fresh . The chunks of chocolate in it left me craving more with every bite . Initially I was just going take a few small bites cause of the calories but it was too delicious that I ended up devouring the whole thing :/. The watermelon was also super sweet and juicy . For bags , you can choose a brown paper bag (25c) or a reusable bag (99c). Highly recommend everyone to check Farm boy out especially the bakery sections!

I got a decent parking spot and went inside. I was hoping to get some Vegan Rob snacks. Sadly, this line wasn't in the store, which was disappointing. However, I ended up filling the void with other goodies. I'm fine, really! I ended up buying these air-puffed potato snacks by Spokes. I got them in barbeque flavour. They are vegan and dairy-free. I brought them into a work meeting with my small team. I also bought a box of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Let's just say that my team devoured everything. The Spokes potato snacks are yummy, filling, and amazing. You eat them guilt-free. They loved the cookies. They were fresh, delicious, and perfect. This store is clean and inviting. I was pleased to see a beer section with a decent mix of craft and mainstream brands and flavours. Part of me wanted to get ice cream sandwiches. The problem was not having them melt, so I had to pass. As usual, there are food samples. I tried some chick pea chips that had a subtle mustard flavour. I was probably standing in front of these chips longer than I should have been. Okay, so I ate about a quarter of what would be a bag of them. They were delicious and I did buy groceries here. Staff are friendly and helpful. There wasn't a huge lineup when I went there at 9:30 am. There were a decent number of shoppers like me at this hour. I'd definitely come back here to shop. It's in the same plaza as Winners, CIBC, and SportChek. (235)

I used to drop by Ajax practically every weekend. I stopped doing it for a couple of years, but I…read morerecently revisited what I used to do. Instead, I drop by once a month. When I am in Ajax, I pass by the Real Canadian Superstore often. Shockingly, I had never been in the store until yesterday. My dear friend and I like Joe Fresh. We decided to drop by and check out what this supermarket has to offer. It's a large, typical Real Canadian Superstore. We found the Joe Fresh area and browsed. She was there to look at pants and jeans. I love the selection in this section, especially the loungewear. I like coming to this store to check out nail polish. I haven't given the Joe Fresh brand a try. One of these days, I will give it a shot. There is a huge assortment of gift cards. I have never seen anything like it. I also loved that you can get the lowest price on M&M's chocolate bars. I was happy. The produce is fresh. I also love the bakery. There was plenty of parking here, even with the extra gardening section that blocked up part of it. I will need to visit this store more often. It's tough when you have this store and a decent Sobey's roughly a block away. (177)

This is a big, bright beautiful store, with logically organized aisles (I hate it when they label a…read more"cookies" aisle, but not one for crackers - Real Canadian labels them both!). Their seafood section, deli and meat section always features very fresh products. Anything that isn't is sold for discount. If you want to buy deli meat, I recommend buying it from the actually deli counter. The lower cost will save you money. The lack of packaging will save the environment. Win-win, I call it! I bought $5 of parma prosciutto at the deli counter, and the same product would have cost $10 from the fridge case. They have a wide selection of foods from various cultures and cuisines, in addition to books, magazines, clothing and household items. You could do pretty much anything here except auto repairs! There is even a wine store in there. If you want one-stop shopping, then this is the place to go!
