Great Coffee, priced just like most coffee shops. Lots of locals were in line to buy coffee so that's a good selling point. Right near where all the cruise ships come in. read more

Great little kiosk near the port with friendly staff and quick service. Menu is easy to read and the self serve station is clean and tidy. We ordered cappuccinos and I realize now we maybe should have tried their speciality drinks instead, but their cappuccino was wonderful and they work very quick. Stop by if you're in the area! read more

I ordered the Iced Pumpkin Macchiato and it was pretty tasty. There was something that I can't quite put my finger on about the taste that was throwing me off at bit though. The barista was friendly and promptly rang me up. It did take several minutes to get my coffee but there were people ahead of me so I understand. After placing my order, it got quite a bit busier, this was around 9am read more

Outside on sidewalk it doesn't have seating. But don't let it fool you they have a really good coffee. Well, I think I both had cappuccino's mine with whole milk hers with oat milk. Each added a shot for an additional $.50 each. You can get 1216 or 22 ounce. Friendly service. read more

One of the ports of our 8 day Alaskan cruise was Juneau, and I was dying for a good cold brew coffee! Loved this little shack right on the road, with still tons of space around it to hang out! Mia was a doll, and recommended me the Trail Mix cold brew from their summer menu, and it was exactly what I needed! So delicious, and I decided my Alaska souvenir would be a mug from The Grind! Thanks Mia for being so sweet and making my coffee dreams come true in Juneau!! Love from Maui read more

Purchased 3 coffees. One tasted bad and asked for something different. Lady was rude said she wouldn't re make it as it was what we ordered and we couldn't purchase another. I asked how it was made and she told me. It was made with 2 missing shots. I asked her to re make it. Finally I had to walk up to the pickup window and explain that it was made wrong. After several minutes of standing there she asked me to move. And I asked her again if she would remake the drink and she said that's what she was doing. Wouldn't ever recommend this place. Bad costumer service. read more

i ordered 4 drinks, they said they didn't have redbull and never had redbull (a lie i've lived been ordering from there for several years), then proceeded to make me go into line every single time they didn't have something to re order it, then made my 16 oz vanilla matcha latte with 2% milk with water instead of milk. worst service i've experienced, and i am no longer a loyal customer. i should've just drove to hot shot instead. read more

Admittedly I worked as a barista for 13 years and have a great espresso bar at home where I still enjoy making great tasting well balanced drinks so maybe I am just not the target audience for this little coffee shop but honestly this place should more accurately be described as a sugar shop that technically has coffee in it. The drinks, which were pretty expensive because you pay for the product's journey to Alaska, were cloyingly sweet to the point that they aren't palatable. I threw mine away after a few sips. Maybe it's because they cater to the cruise ship crowds who don't have particularly discerning palates but for coffee masters who can identify soil acidity from one slurp which I have been trained to do, this is basically just a candy store. read more

I was not a big fan of the coffee at the base of the cappuccino I ordered. It tasted a little earthy for my taste. But the cappuccino was well-made, and the barista made sure that I wanted a classic cappuccino with half foam and espresso. The service was quick and attentive. And the ambiance was a coffee stand. read more

Drinks here are always so good. Their sandwiches are also very good when they have them.

White chocolate mocha was SO good! The location is right across the docks and tram. They were quick with making my drink.

This is the perfect place to grab some food or a drink to go if you find yourself at Juneau's cruise port. It's in such a convenient location, right across from the Goldbelt Tram. We stopped here to grab some lunch after doing the Gastineau Peak hike and before going whale watching. I enjoyed their turkey pesto mozzarella wrap, and their banana bread was deliciously moist. read more

Probably the best coffee in Juneau. It's very unassuming, but don't let it's lackluster front fool you. I got the Cortado and it was phenomenal. The coffee was perfectly rich, strong, and smooth. Surprisingly, it's pretty hard to find good coffee in Juneau, but you don't have to worry about this place letting you down. It's dang good. read more

First time ever I had my first Breve on a cold weather day and fell in love with it. For those of you who would enjoy creamy coffee drinks, Breve could be your new love! Seriously, I loved it a lot! The steamed half-n-half diluted the espresso and made it rich and thick, smooth and creamy. I would choose Breve over latte or cappuccino. read more

Location, location, location! Many tour groups from cruise ships meet in the parking lot a few steps away from here. Cruise ships include a ton of food, but due to a combination of waking up so late I thought I would miss the tour and my mother in law wanting to be super early "just in case", I missed breakfast and the cup of coffee I usually need to even get in the shower... So we ended up here to get a caffeine fix and a snack before boarding an all morning whale watching boat tour. Had a delicious mocha (or was it just the most needed caffeine fix due to staying out late and waking up early?), and a packaged Instant gluten free oatmeal. The in laws both had small coffees and muffins. We were all on our merry way and a lot more cheerful after this stop. Thank you for being open early squirrelly! read more

We were dying of thirst as the Downtown area didn't have a place where we could sit and have a nice cool drink or a coffee drink and we happened to see this little place right across from the tram station and also right next to Trove. They had recently opened and so there was no sign about what they were serving besides coffee so I asked. And we ordered mango smoothie, forbidden fruit smoothie (passion fruit and guava), and strawberry smoothie. All were delish and I ordered mine with water, not milk and it was tasty. They also have pastries as well such as cake pops and cookies if you're feeling like having something sweet. There is some seating right near the stand as I call it. read more

We were on the grand princess on our first cruise. Juneau was one of my favorite stops. My first impression of this town was how adorable. Shorthly after starting our sight seeing we came across this darling little coffee shop The Grind Coffee. I was like real COFFEE yes please!!! Kept it safe with 2 giant hot Mocha. Quick and friendly service and most importantly delicious I think it had been at least a handful of days since we had a strong cup of coffee. Perfect location if your traveling through on the cruise ships. Also the town was great to sight see. Cute little shops through out and friendly locals, we had a couple offer to take a pic for us right next to the coffee shop. Was not disappointed!! Can not wait to go on our next cruise. I almost forgot this coffee shop also was a free WiFi spot!! read more

Really hits the spot on a rainy Juneau morning. Good coffee at a reasonable price made by a friendly barista.

Perfect place to get an amazing coffee. The baristas are well educated and fun. The coffee is air roasted and smooth without the burnt taste. It's owned by a Juneau born and raised business woman also employed by all Juneau residents. read more

Their location is great if you are coming off a cruise ship but they are pretty slow and their coffee is just average.

Tea and coffee were great, as were the two employees. They gave us great information on what to do in town (a great mix of get-away-from-the-crowds and must-see activities). Unfortunately, we couldn't fit it all in, and were too tired to do the rest. It was great fun! read more
