Thank you Ismaela for your hospitality!! I had my baby shower here recently and everything from…read moreplanning to the actual night went smoothly. We're so happy with the outcome from the decorations to the food and service provided by the staffs. The actual venue is very nice and roomy. We were able to fit a photobooth with an inflatable room for privacy, a 10x10 jumper, ball pit and kiddie merry go round for the little ones. They had large restrooms with many stalls in the women restroom. My ladies appreciated it ! I also love that they had an elevator leading straight up the to venue itself. It made it easy for my brother who's disabled. As for the food, it tasted great ! My guests all enjoyed their food which was our main concern. We definitely want to go back and try their restaurants food which looked delicious too. The staff who helped us the night of the baby shower were also so nice and attentive! I would definitely recommend grand conquista to anyone who is looking to book any special event! Thank you again Ismaela and staffs for making our babyshower so special

Under new owners called Xopic banquets &events…read more I recently hosted my daughter's quinceañera at this venue. While the event itself turned out beautifully, the planning process and venue organization caused a significant amount of unnecessary stress. Initially, planning with Evelyn was great. We discussed setup times, table settings, chargers, napkins, and other event details, and we had originally been told we would have access to the venue on Thursday to set up. However, the week before the event our contact changed to one of the owners, and we were asked for information that had already been provided. We were also informed that Thursday was no longer available for setup and had to rearrange our schedules to come on Wednesday instead. Unfortunately, when we arrived for our scheduled setup, nothing had been prepared. Tables, linens, and place settings weren't ready, and items from the previous event were still in the venue. Because setup time is already very limited, this prevented us from completing everything we had planned. Future clients should also know that this is a second-floor venue, and you are responsible for bringing up all of your own bar supplies. We weren't told until two days before the event that no carts would be available, so thankfully we brought our own dollies. The owner did ask what still needed to be done after we explained the situation, and the team completed most of those items before our final walkthrough. I appreciated that effort. Another important thing to know is that the venue also has its own event planning and decorating business. If you choose to bring in your own vendors or decorate yourself, your setup time is extremely limited unless you pay additional fees for early access. We arranged our own flowers and had to pay extra just to drop them off ahead of time. We also hired The Habit Burger food truck for our event. We had to set up our own cones to reserve parking, and when the truck arrived, it didn't fit in the location the venue had instructed us to use. Fortunately, one of the owners helped resolve the issue and even told my husband that the team should have already had the parking area prepared before the truck arrived. The biggest issue was on the day of the event. I arrived around 4:20 p.m. for photos before our 5:00 p.m. guest arrival, and the air conditioning in the hallways and restrooms was not workin it was over 95 degrees outside. We had several ADA guests who needed to use the restrooms, making this especially uncomfortable. About 3.5 hrs into the event, one of the owners arrived with fans, and guests were eventually directed to another restroom that did have air conditioning. We also had an issue with the security guard, who was speaking inappropriately to some of our minor guests. We immediately reported it to the venue staff. I do want to recognize the bartender, cleaning staff, and event lead. They were professional, kind, and worked hard throughout the evening to help wherever they could. Overall, the venue itself is beautiful, and our daughter's quinceañera was a wonderful celebration. However, there were too many communication issues, last-minute changes, and preventable problems leading up to and during the event. I hope the venue improves its organization and communication because it has the potential to provide a much smoother experience for future clients.

We appreciated that the owner/staff was kind to help my family with bringing stuff upstairs when we arrived to begin our set up. That is beyond appreciated! All of our guests loved the space which was big & plenty of space for our 60-70 people. We were able to decorate & set up and have an amazing time with our loved ones & had plenty of space for fun baby shower games lol. The amount of time we rented the venue (5hours not including set up) was more than plenty of time for us. Highly recommend this space and would use again in the future!! Thank you to the business for your professionalism and making this experience easier for us!

When I first requested a quote, I recieved a response very quickly from Pro, the manager, and he remained available for any questions I had until I was ready to sign my quote and lock in my event (and thereafter until shower day.) When you request a quote, you'll be sent a questionnaire about what you'll need for your event (time frame, services, furnishings, etc.) so you know exactly what you're paying for when you get your price. There is a lot included in the price, but other than some standard items like tables and chairs, you'll need to rent, or bring in everything else yourself or with outside vendors. I did all of my own decor, had my family and friends help me set up, and we catered Porto's. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, prep area and sink as well if you're cooking yourself, we used the oven to warm up potato balls and stored drinks in the fridge and it worked out great. You can rent a cover for the kitchen if it's not your vibe. Here's some of the concerns I had before booking and how we overcame them: Concern: the venue is on the second story in a historic building and is only accessible by stairs. Solution: It is only one flight of stairs, and there is a break in the middle with ample room for a chair or bench if guests need a stopping point. I informed my guests of this ahead of time and had my husband help anyone who needed assistance, everyone was able to make it work. It was a little but rough carrying all of our own stuff up, but many hands made light work. Concern: there is only one bathroom for an event of nearly 90 people. Solution: Honestly, this was only an issue for us at the beginning of our event when people were arriving from far away places. Once the initial rush died out, there was never even a line for the bathroom. Concern: the space is very plain. Solution: The space does not have many bells and whistles, but I found it charming and rustic, and there's lots of opportunity to really make it as dressed up as you want with whatever theme you can think of. Also, the natural light from the windows on both sides of the building made things that much more appealing. Concern: there is no designated parking. Solution: the Electric Loft team was able to save some spaces directly in front for me and my set-up team, and then parking is open up and down the streets as well as at the nearby park. No one had any issues, save for some later arrivals as there was some kind of art event at another building nearby. There may be a little walking involved, but not so much that it made anything impossible. All in all, everyone thought it was a great spot and I've been recommending Electric Loft all over the place, and I'll continue to do so. Also shout out to The Splendor Co for my photo spot!

Avengers assemble!…read more Diamond Bar Center Assemble! So finding a good venue for a two-day leadership retreat usually feels like trying to locate the hidden city of Wakanda... just impossible. But this faciilty is easily one of the most beautiful in the area. It sits up on a hill with these massive floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom that give you a view of LA that rivals looking out from Stark Tower,, it is just an amazng vibe. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. They handled all our executive attendees with that Captain America level of patience and coordination. We had a bunch of professionals there for the event and they all kept talking about how it felt like a real getaway... not just a boring corporate room. plus there is a ton of walking space outside. you can wander around and clear your head like Doctor Strange visiting Kamar-Taj. Anyway, the whole two days went perfectly. If you are putting together a big meeting or training, you cant just settle for some random hotel basement. * the views alone are worth it * the team has your back like Nick Fury I highly recommend this place. it really feels like the official Avengers Compound but with way better scenery. Special thanks to many of the staff, such as Lauren, Jared, Adrian, and many others. 5 stars

1 Star I am honestly so disappointed and saddened by the…read moreexperience I had at this venue, especially because my wedding hasn't even happened yet. We came in to pay the remaining balance for our wedding, which should have been such an exciting moment considering our wedding is only two months away. Instead, the experience with the gentleman at the front desk completely ruined what should have been a happy milestone. We were told the remaining balance needed to be paid in cash, so we came prepared with the full amount. We were literally short one penny. I asked if we could give an extra 10 cents since we didn't have a penny and simply leave the change. Instead of showing any understanding or basic customer service, he made the biggest issue out of one penny. The way he spoke to us and handled the situation was so unnecessary and uncomfortable that I was literally on the verge of crying. My fiancé had to calm me down afterward because I was so upset. Imagine being a bride, two months away from your wedding, coming in excited to make your final payment, only to leave feeling this way because of how someone treated you over ONE CENT. This is supposed to be a place where couples come to celebrate some of the biggest moments of their lives. Customer service matters. Compassion matters. How you treat people matters. The venue itself is beautiful, which is why this experience is even more disappointing. I truly hope management addresses this because I would hate for another couple to experience the same thing. I'm now praying that our actual wedding day is nothing like the experience we had simply trying to pay our final balance. It's incredibly unfortunate when one employee can make a couple question whether they chose the right place for such an important day. I sincerely hope things change before our wedding because we deserve to feel excited and welcomed, not stressed and devastated.

But ultimately we were able to fit: 80 guests (7 rounds x 10 chairs - us kids running the party didn't sit), casino rental tables (Ace of Spades casino rentals - 2 black jack, 1 craps, 1 roulette, 1 Texas hold'em), a DJ with karaoke setup (Tom - see my other reviews - who was able to use the existing sound system), a small bar (the studio has a mini drink station they let us borrow) and a full buffet. The buffet fit perfectly in the back storage rooms. There are separate men's and women's bathrooms with 3 stalls in the ladies room so there was never a line. The studio included the tables and chairs in our rental fee and also provided table cloths - we only had to cover the costs for the cloths to be cleaned after. They also have chair covers you can rent. Marcin responded quickly to my MANY questions on yelp and Rebecca met us several times at the studio on various days and times as we had to go there several times to look at, measure and plan the space. If you do rent this space for a private party I would highly advise you to clarify all the pricing before you sign the contract and try to get it in writing. There was a bit of back and forth on the pricing. In the end, everything was cleared up and they were genuinely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to have a special night for my mom - including thoughtfully leaving extra paper towel and toilet paper for us. They let us use the refrigerator (!!!) and walked us through lighting options. The studio was big enough to accommodate our guests and entertainment but not so big that everything was too spread out. It was really perfect. I highly recommend this space for parties. There is plenty of parking and an existing sound system. The space itself has decor that goes well with a variety of decorations. They have tables and chairs available as well as table cloths and chair covers so you don't need to get to an extra vendor. There were fans and air conditioning. It was really a great space. Marcin and Rebecca also seem to do a lot of events there so they are really helpful in explaining different options for setup. The dance floor space is about 50 ft x 30 ft.
