    Lemon drop and Bronzed Fish

I enjoyed my dinner and overall experience with this establishment. I set a reservation for ten people and the restaurant was very accommodating. Although it was not on the menu I was able to order a lemon drop and crab cakes for my appetizer. My husband order a berry smash and lobster Mac and cheese. We asked our server for her opinion and she suggested we have the redfish. I usually don't eat anything except for the salmon but I am very glad I tried the redfish it was amazing!! Very well seasoned!! I would recommend this place to anyone for a nice dinner!

My sister and I chose to visit the Gregory for restaurant week. She comes often for happy hour but I had never been at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining room was open and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was attentive and checked in on us several times. We both ordered the barbecue brisket, goat cheese mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I might tell you a joke but I'll never tell you a lie...my food was so gooooooood. The brisket was smoky and tender, the mashed potatoes were creamy and a little tangy from the goat cheese and the Brussels were perfectly crispy! I forgot to mention that we started with a goat cheese spring mix salad and the Parisian Crawfish gnocchi with were both a chefs kiss! We wanted out our dinner with crème brûlée. I will definitely be back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I just love it here. I sometimes stop at the bar since it's close to my apartment. It's great vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Larissa, Iman, and Gabby always give great service when I am there!! The happy hour special is also a steal!!! Great sized portions for $10 and you must try the Gregory Burger. Also they have a great steak if you come during dinner time. My preferred steak is cooked "Pittsburgh style" and many places can mess that up quite easily but it's been wonderful everytime I've been there. I've been coming for years. Only complaint is that I wish they'd bring their old chocolate cake back ugh! Anyways, great place and I recommend over and over again!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing ambiance, quiet restaurant located in the historic downtown Baton Rouge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of parking but they have valet service and it's free with eating in the restaurant. Just make sure you get your ticket validated. The soup of the day was mushroom. Second best mushroom soup ever had. Secondly to 1908 at Longwood Gardens. Highly recommend. I had the Sensation salad with chicken. Very refreshing yet filling by adding the grilled chicken. Love the cut up tomatoes and what I think was caper berries. I love that when I made the reservation on open table, the restaurant knew my allergies when I arrived and had marked up a menu for me! Excellent service. Our food was great and our service exceptional. I highly recommend The Gregory if you are in the area.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was fancy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].. prices for happy hour bar bites and drinks were impressive for the quality. The only downfall is that they were kind of busy when we arrived and it took probably at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged... Other guests that we're standing behind ordered and served before us even though we were sitting at the bar patiently..that seemed a little bit odd coming from an ex bartender ... although the two bartenders that did acknowledge and serve us were very helpful and kind so I feel like it made up for the loss in the beginning!

Came here for a night cap drink but ended up have a host of plates. Over performed for sure. The crab cakes were the best plate we tried, with real seafood. The burger slapped as well. The patty was great chuck.

Don't sleep on the Happy Hour at The Gregory in downtown BR. Select cocktails/beers 7 to 10 bucks Plenty of food options like the pic 10 bucks each I was not expecting that burger to be so good or the flatbread but I'm already asking my hubs when we're going back for happy hour again They run happy hour everyday 2-7 and the valet parking is free if you eat at the restaurant. (Tip your valet!)

Went back for a lunch date and enjoyed our selections. As always the place is beautiful. I reserved on Open Table but there was plenty of seating so a reservation didn't seem necessary. We started with the Boudin balls and fried cauliflower. Both were pretty good. There was a little inconsistency with the cauliflower as far as the coating but the flavor was really good. The burger was delicious. The fries were hot and fresh! The bbq wings were good. The sauce was light and not overpowering. We had two non alcoholic Tea drinks but they were super super sweet!! Next time I would ask for light syrup. Our waiter was super friendly. Also I purchased a voucher from 225 eats! It was $24 for $40 in food. I had no issues redeeming it. We'll definitely be back.

My wife treated to lunch at this fabulous place. I must say the inside of this place is very beautiful. I really enjoyed my date. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend this place. I will most likely return. Good vibes!

I always come here during the lunch hour and order the express lunch and generally enjoy what they offer. I look forward to going for a dinner!

We went for our anniversary and it was pretty dead. I will say that there was an LSU game going on so that could have been why. We started off at the bar for happy hour and had the sazerac's, French 75's and charcuterie board. The drinks were pretty good as well as the board. However we did have to wait for the board a bit. We then had a table and got steak mashed potatoes and asparagus. The asparagus was overdone and mashed potatoes were bland. I will say that George our server was the redeeming person for the experience. He was a great bartender and server and we appreciated his attention to detail. We would go again because hey it might have been just a slow night. The location though was great in relation to downtown.

Amazing, speedy and friendly surface. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful, intimate but well-lit venue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was fantastic. Wonderfully seasoned and complex flavors that all worked together.

Skip it. There has to be a better place to go. We had a reservation for 8PM. By 8:15, I was looking for a server and ordering waters for us and getting menus from the bar. I asked for a water refill and at 8:47PM, my boyfriend went to the bar for to get it for me because our server still hadn't brought me a water. We also still didn't have our food. My man had his heart set on the duck and they took the order but came back later to say they didn't have it. Then we sat and waited for the meals we ordered... And waited. And waited. And waited. Woof. What a disappointment. The drinks were fine. The food was ok. Fingerling potatoes weren't seasoned at all. The sweet potato "fries" were just little cubes. At the end of the day: service is terrible. Drinks are good. Food is mediocre. Go somewhere else.

This was supposed to be a pork chop cooked medium. It was well done and dry.

For appetizers, we had the cachapas with pork which were delicious. Recommended app for sure! My wife had an Indian curry with cabbage, purple rice, chick peas and spinach-wow!!!!!! Probably the creamiest tasting curry ever! You could add a protein but wifey went with the vegetarian option and it was great! It wasn't perfect bc there were some chick peas that weren't cooked all the way and were crunchy I went with the mussels in a pesto cream sauce with potatoes and it was sooooo delicious!!! Again not perfect as some mussels had that sandy/gritty taste which I didn't like it most of the them were fine. The ambience here is great! The owner really has thought out every detail to make sure you have an amazing experience. From the decor, music, staff-you can tell there was a a lot of thought, care and love put into it. We were in a large alcove at the back of the restaurant. It was spacious and elegant, even with the table ended up being almost entirely filled. Our waiter was enthusiastic and patient with our large party. Refills and check-ins were timed well. The drink selection was pretty extensive. Food was delicious and all delivered within minutes of one another (no one was stuck waiting for long). Burger was cooked to perfection and not TOO hot. I hate when food is so hot in temperature that you can't take a bite. The chocolate cake was good, but the whip cream tasted kinda fake/oily. The cake itself was medium density and had a slightly salted finish. It paired perfectly with the frosting which was very rich and extra sweet. A delightful pairing. For my drink, plus a double shot of whiskey, the burger and dessert, it came to just over $100. That feels expensive. Take that as you will. I wouldn't return mostly due to price. But quality on everything was great, and so was the service. Atmosphere was great too.
