Had their sun dried tomato wrapped shrimp burrito . It was alright...not worth the price they charging. You think burrito 8, 10, 12 bucks tops, nope 15 and change here. The menu they had up said 12...it was the closest place nearby so why not try it once. So for the price of twice of what you typically find elsewhere you'd expect twice the burrito, but it left me wanting something else to wash it down. Love coming here before or after 24 hr fitness pacifica workouts. Their salmon is so fresh and grilled just right, not over or undercooked and juicy, my fave. Another fave is their agua fresca my go too: pineapple mango and also strawberry. And their tacos they put everything so its great. Wet burritos are tasty but kinda salty. I've lived in the area for some time and always drove by on my way to Safeway. I decided to try out an organic' mexican restaurant for the first time. I had the special of the day which was the 1/2 Rotisserie chicken with rice and hit corn tortillas. I asked for no beans. The salsa was not what I was accustomed to, but it was a small green salad with tomatoes and was very tasty and not overwhelming to my meal. The chicken was juicy and very flavorful. It seemed like a huge portion, but I realized I was very hungry and ate it all. The waitress brought home made chips and salsa. The salsa was good but came in little plastic cups. I also had some mango agua fresca. That was very tasty. I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes. read more

This place is just ok. I probley won't return. The only option was to take it to go because the tables were messy and dirty, either someone didn't clean up behind themselves or the restaurant is skipped cleaning up that day. The burrito I got was just ok nothing to pay $12 for ..the portions was kind of small like a baby burrito in a normal sf burrito place, the beans were old cooked un the morning .. you could see no steam coming off the food other than the chicken (the reheat it on the grill) I olmost asked them to reheat everything but didn't want to be rude. So the burrito was just ok.. The fresh water melon fresca drink was old. I just had 2 sips and tossed it. Chips are not free and don't dare ask because they said out loud they are not free. That may have been they way to say u must buy get to end of line..Damnn I had money to pay ,Im not asking for free food.. So i give them 2 out of 5 start as because the food was cold.. he littlerlly took orders on the phone while i looked at my food de-heat .. all he had to do is prioritize. This is a quick review because I only had 3 items: Veggie Quesadilla, chips and guacamole. I was very impressed with the freshness of the quesadilla. Basically I saw that someone else was having it and it looked so good I had to have it, too. I shared it with my wife and she liked it, too. The guacamole is tasty and they give a big portion to go for a reasonable price compared to some of the restaurants that act like guacamole has gold flakes in it or something. The chips are made there and are pretty much the thick standard style, but I liked that they didn't have a lot of salt on them. All in all a good first experience. I'll be back to try other things. My Growth Coach tip for business improvement: Add your menu to the wall on some sort of sign. Most quick service places like this make it easy to see the menu for people looking to get food to go. If you can do that it should speed up the pace. read more

We had lunch catered at my work by The Green Enchilada - organic food. Our team LOVED the roasted chicken, salad with avocado and brown rice (Mexican) with hot tortillas. It came with a delicious gourmet chimichurri sauce for the chicken. Balsamic and olive oil dressing and pico de gallo and green salsa. It was over the TOP delicious! I'll definitely be ordering from The Green Enchilada again! Delivery was on time with 5 - 7 minutes to spare. I highly recommend the food! Everyone is coming back for seconds as I write this! In a region that is awash in fantastic Mexican food, The Green Enchilada manages to stand out from the crowd. This is a tiny eatery (most tables only seat two people) with a fairly straightforward menu (all your usual taqueria favorites), and yet they still exceed nearly every other joint I've tried around the Bay. The food is fresh, made exactly how you order it, made with organic ingredients, and prepared and served by people who clearly love what they're doing. My go-to is the Super Burrito with grilled shrimp, pinto (or sometimes refried) beans, and wrapped in a spinach tortilla - it's just an incredibly tasty meal. My young son loves their grilled chicken quesadilla, and the chips and roasted salsa they provide are just to die for. Best of all, their staff are just lovely people - helpful, eager to please, and appreciative of our business. We've made the drive from the East Bay to Pacifica a few times to "visit the beach," but at this point the beach is way less motivating than getting lunch at The Green Enchilada one more time. read more

The last time I went there, the portions were huge and well worth the $10 considering it was so big and they used organic ingredients :) I love their chips and salsa! I can taste the freshness!! The quesadilla I got was ok, I mean it was good because of the ingredients. The cheese was stretchy and had the saltiness and nuttiness, the chicken was tender and well seasoned, but I was expecting a small spicy kick because I have been to other Mexican restaurants and I always experienced a kick with my food (it didn't matter what I got) but it wasn't terrible! Seriously disappointing. Driving back from Southern Pacifica, we were torn between driving into the city or going to the Green Enchilada. We knew that the GF was over priced, but we decided that we would save gas if we just went to GF. I ordered 2 burritos (one with guacamole) and a tamale for my child to go. We drove home to Daly City and discovered that the tamale was missing, so my child had nothing to eat. BIG bummer! I called and asked them to credit my credit card. No luck. They said that next time I come in that they'll give me a discount. My husband ordered salsa verde because he HATES tomatoes. He ended up with chunks of tomato throughout his entire burrito. I was sick of hearing him complain about it, so I told him to YELP about it. ...and here I am. Lastly, he ordered guacamole on his burrito (for ¢50 extra) and there was no guacamole to be found, just chunks of tomatoes. We paid $22 for this highly unpleasant experience. Next time, we'll waste the gas and go to our favorite taqueria in the Mission and pay 1/3 the cost of this. Oh and on another note, this place is SOOOOO NOT organic. Where is the FDA when you need them? Tortillas, NOT. Meat, NOT. The tortillas are your regular run of the mill GMO style corn. YUCK! Went here today on a whim to try their burritos. Didn't even know this place existed until about 3 days ago. I ordered the Fajita burrito with a whole wheat tortilla, and a strawberry drink. The strawberry drink was very watered down, barely tasted of strawberry. Must be all the ice thats in the container, and in my cup. The burrito itself had a lot of ingredients in it, but still lacked flavor. It didn't taste like anything. The steak inside the burrito was flavorless. I don't get it. I ate half of it and gave the rest to my brother, he will eat anything. The chips they provided were home made which is the only reason why I'm giving two stars. I frequently eat at this joint in Manor Plaza. My favorite dishes as follows: Pacifica Salad (with chicken): fresh greens, black beans, papay, mango, tomatoes, fresh avocado slices, chicken (optional add-on), and a light dusting of cojita cheese. Included is a light vinagrette to add a little punch. It's an excellent hunger smacker boasting quite a variety of flavors and colors. Chicken Burrito Supreme: Peeling the tightly wrapped foil is like opening a delectable Christmas present for lunch. Biting into the soft tortilla, you're teeth with penetrate delightful layers of chicken, beans (my choice is pinto, others may prefer refried or black beans), rice, fresh guacamole, and sour cream. **This is my go-to on days where my sanity hinges on a "fuck my diet" indulgence.** Other dishes of note are the aptly named supreme tacos, various quesadillas, and chile relleno. The salsa is made fresh and has this light smoky flavor to it as they roast the tomatoes daily in the oven behind the counter. It has a nice consistency and is a perfect teaser to scoop with a chip while waiting for your order. The ingredient quality is above par which, to me, is a fair trade-off for the higher pricing. I don't mind forking over a few extra samolians for better quality ingredients. If you want cheap and don't mind food tasting like it was squeegeed from the bowels of a beached whale carcass then, by all means, go across the highway to La Mordida; Just be sure to have a paramedic on speed dial in the event your heath-code gamble comes up snake-eyes. Seriously, la Mordida is FILTHY, people. As for sometimes having to wait a little longer for food; It's a small taqueria and the food is made to order. Waiting a couple more minutes for it is a tiny concession to make given the quality of the products. I don't blame the establishment for the occasional wait to order. There's a single register in a tiny space. I think most of the waiting on that ordering end is due to indecisive customers holding up the line than anything else. read more
