Was driving through Pacifica and decided to give Guerrero's a try. I was not impressed. Customer service wise, the lady at the front taking our order, she was nice. No issues there. The food itself was very inedible. I honestly left most of it behind. For the veggie tacos, the rice was crunchy (not in a good way) and tasted very raw still, or stale. It also lacked flavor. The beans also had little to no flavor. The guacamole didn't taste fresh whatsoever. I ate one of the tacos because I was very hungry, but left the second veggie taco. I did take a bite of the shrimp taco to give it a chance, and the shrimp was extremely rubbery indicating it was overcooked. The flavor was good on the shrimp, but I couldn't eat more of it with what the consistency of the shrimp tasted like. I was bummed because the place did have several customers sitting down eating inside. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I don't know yet if I'd try them again... read more

After 20 years I thought I would go back into this restaurant to purchase food. Years ago, 3x my kid got sick on their food. I gave them 3 tries... After all these years, I go in there, thinking I'd pick up something quick, and when they started ringing up my tab, the prices were not what was displayed on their boards. A 3.50 taco was being rang up as 3.64, a side of beans for 3.50 was being rang up as 3.84, and in addition there was tax being applied. I kept telling the guy that the prices are different than their listing price, and he kept telling me it was tax, even though at the end of the total there was another tax applied. NOT WORTH IT! Freakin scammers and I'm tired of restaurants raising their prices and expecting 20% tipping! Not again! read more

We ordered Carne Asada Dinner plate and two tacos plate ( chicken). Highly recommmemd the carne Asada plate. Generous portion of beef, beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream and shredded lettuce. The chicken tacos had great flavor but slightly dried. Don't forget to get the chips and fresh salsa. We had it to go but there are a few tables available to dine in. Plenty of free parking. I've been to all 3 Guerrero's Taquerias and so far the 2nd location on Hickey is the best for food/service. Small counter space with seating past the counter. The chicken dinner plate was aright, moist chicken with all the sides. But the carnitas plate was bad. Overcooked and near dark burnt pork. This is a pretty good little Mexican spot. The food was very good, I've had nachos and burrito and quesadilla and it stands up to just about any taqueria I've been too. The service is just average, the young lady was on her cell phone and couldn't really concentrate on my order so when I said to go she didn't tell the kitchen and they had to pack up my nachos (they just dumpedthe order into a box). Inside is pretty tight and not very inviting, but they've got some nice artistic flourishes on the walls, so kudos for trying. read more

I've ordered from this once before online and decided to try it again since the food was good. I'm very disappointed that they didn't get our order correct. I ordered a burrito without any beans and it arrived with beans. The taco salad was supposed to have refried beans and that didn't have any beans at all. When I called the restaurant to let them know they told me they would send another one in &10 minutes. That never happened. I was hoping to get some lunch while working at home but I guess I wasted my money on a meal that wasn't prepared the way I wanted. So I believe this is the original store of Guerrero's to the one in Pacifica near the boxing place and Safeway. We got a steak burrito and an enchilada plate. This place I feel isn't as great. Reasons? The chips are some cheap store bought ones with watery salsa and they did not even want to help us when we were ordering. Came in on a Sunday around noon and there was a line of about 10 people. They are open during COVID-19 for pickup or outside dining (about 3 tables). I usually get a burrito and always enjoy them. Good flavor on the rice and beans. My husband had the shrimp quesadilla, however it was on the small side and part of the tortilla had no shrimp or cheese, just tortilla, so he really did not get the whole thing. So we are regulars. We come here on Sunday when we are too tired to cook and want a little stability and comfort. I wait in the car as my vaccinated boyfriend makes the order. He finds comfort in the Horchata and Carne Asada Super Burrito. I'm satisfied with the stability of the Al Pastor Fajita with rice, grilled vegetables, and red onions cupped in lettuce. The crunchy corn chips and fresh salsa compete for my first bite. We bring the food home and it's a challenge to have any Horchata left when we get there. We pair the meal with Grolsh on warm nights and a Cabernet when the fog creeps in. So great to have a dependable restaurant like Guerrero's through COVID. read more
