3.5 stars! Really enjoyed my visit! The taco was tasty and fresh, and the overall experience was great. I went with the super burrito which was yummy but just too much going on inside. Horchata was perfect. The cashier was especially friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Good food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. I'd definitely come back!

Been driving by this location all the time. It has a small parking lot which is a plus. We ordered: fish tacos Togo. Omg. The fish was battered and huge. We just had it with the cabbage, but added some lime juice. It was so good. We will definitely come back and try something else. No wonder it was so busy. The line was out the door to just order food which I noticed while waiting for our food. Wow. But it's worth the wait.

First time at La Perla and you order at the counter. The service was ok from the man behind counter. I liked the Al pastor burrito, good flavors and filling. The waffle fries could have had more fries for the price. Salsa bar on the side. Tables along the window. Card/cash accepted Small parking lot

I mainly liked the orange because that has a bit of spice Get lots of lime

The food was delicious the salsa was not spicy lol You would think the orange salsa would be but unfortunately that's the only one I liked I usually go for the green salsa usually salsa verde or salsa verde with avacado mixed in but the day I went wasn't that delicious The chips are kinda chewy thin but not crispy all the way but they literally only give you a small tray full so like maybe a handful of chips I got the birria taco Get that Open it up Dip chips with salsa and put little morsels of birria meat on the chip and eat til the chips are gone and then eat the taco shell with the meat and cheese

Full disclosure: I have never had any other Latin food int he Pacifica area, but for my first time trying it around here, I found a decent spot in La Perla! Right from the start, the service was great. I was greeted and when in need of extra time, the cashier was super patient. Service Grade: A I felt that there were a lot of food options and the food came out in a timely manner. I was with my daughter so I ordered myself a California Burrito with shredded beef (Birria de Res) and 4 tacos (2 steak, 1 chicken, and 1 pastor) to share with my little one. The food was flavorful and the burrito was a generous size. California burritos do not come with rice or beans, but rather, French fries. The French fries didn't seem fresh was my only minus for this place, but otherwise, the food was great! Food Grade: A- If I could give this place a 4.5, I would. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at La Perla and would come again when in the Pacifica area!

Haven't been here in years but came back to see why we haven't been here in years. Food was good. Meats had good flavor. Waffle fries got hit with shrinkflation. I recall the portion being so much bigger before, (not like I could finish either portion). Ordered a large horchata which was a yes for me. Not watered down, had good flavor. Their mole sauce was also really good. Didn't have that typical dark bitter sauce. It was pretty tasty. Workers were very friendly and eager to take our order. Seating is a tad odd since it's all hugged against the wall, but place is clean. Small parking lot that shares with multiple places however only 1 other restaurant lives there which is an Indian restaurant. Would def come back.

    Fish tacos are great!

Love their fish tacos which are larger than expected and very filling. Ordered 3 and was full after just one.

La Perla Michelada. The shrimp are a must, but ask for them grilled in the sauce. Much tastier!
    Alex R.

Team Perla is always welcoming and food comes out quick. I love the fact it's 5 minutes from mi casa. Get yourself some tacos or a burrito, walk two blocks and enjoy your food watching waves or a few paragliding folks in the air. Either way, food won't disappoint!

Came here on. Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch. Order was taken right away and we were enjoying our selection within a few minutes. Food was hot and delicious. They have a help yourself salsa bar that also had pickled vegetables, radishes and jalapeños. Food was yummy and decently priced. Service was good and place was clean. This is our go-to Mexican place near our home. We have never been disappointed. Do recommended and will be back.

Hello, good morning. Could you tell me why they're not the same? When did something go wrong with your burrito? What did you notice differently? Your feedback would be a great help for us to continue improving. Thank you.

Do they use lard at all?

Hi, we do not use lard

Are the enchiladas made with corn or flour tortillas?

    Corn.

    Are vegan options available?

Just called to ask the same thing. Only the beans are vegan the rice has chicken broth so you could get a burrito with beans avo and pico and it would be vegan

Like not even ranch, salsa & dipping in chicken broth when I got home could aide in the quality of their carne asada. Upon trying their Lengua & chicken, not much better. I had an indigestible HARD piece of something (plastic?) in my burrito once. It's not like I just gave this taqueria a one and done review, I've been a customer since 2015. And let me tell you, 2015-2022 they were banger!! Salsa bar was amazing. Now I'm pretty sure they charge you per salsa container. I'm sure my nostalgia plays a part in this low rating but Taqueria Pacifica doesn't stand out the same way El Grano De Oro did... Too bad. Service is standard. Nothing special. Food is ready relatively quick, so if you order to-go... get there early! The ambiance is very much a to-go vibe even though there is a plethora of indoor seating as well as a picnic table for seating outside. Tacos are pretty good here, but I did find bits of shrimp in my al pastor! I don't think I'll be coming back here unless I need to refill my water bottle.

I like the salsa bar that has limes, jalapenos you don't see that at many taquerias. The inside is spacious with plenty of seating. I liked all the salsas: green, red and orange all firreee! My super al pastor burrito had great flavor and was packed with filling. The only downside was some of the pork were not that tender. But I'll be back to try the others like fish/shrimp. We very rarely go here, though. It had been a very long time, over a decade, since we ordered food from them, so I nearly forgot why they are not one of our usual spots. DJ told me that the food is underwhelming, that's why. I didn't remember this, so I gave them another try on October 3, 2025. We had an appointment at Banfield, but I was starving. So I decided to drop in very quickly for something little and easy to eat while at the vet appointment. The small eatery, of likely a maximum occupancy of around sixty to seventy persons in the dining room, appeared to be semi-clean. Tables looked like they could have used a good wiping, but I wasn't concerned about that since I was ordering take-out. They have a chips and salsa bar at the end of the dining room which looked decent enough to trust the offerings, but, again, the counters could have used a wipe-down. I initially was going to order a taco or two, but decided that a tamal would be easier to eat without making a mess. According to a posted sign at the counter, tamales, sweet corn or chicken, are supposed to be $3.50 each. I say "supposed to be" because despite what their sign says, my receipt shows me that I was actually charged $3.64 for one, plus tax. Not cool. It's only a $0.14 difference, but this should never happen, ever. I recall pointing out the price difference to the cashier to which I was given some bogus response. I was too much in a hurry to get into a debate with her. As for the taste, the flavour of the chicken was not bad, but overall, the tamale was DRY. My tamal had a thin layer of sauce on top and the inside could have used some kind of moisture, either from cheese or sauce. After the appointment at Banfield, for the convenience, I returned to Guerrero's #2 to buy dinner for the family (Super Burrito for $15.08, Veggie Burrito for $13.00, Taco Plate for $18.20 + a Flauta for $3.00, and 2 Large Horchatas for $10.40, totaling $65.58 inclusive of tax). DJ reiterated that the food was meh...and I finally remembered how we found their menu items to be subpar. Service is usually fairly quick and decently friendly, though. I will refer to this yelp review of mine to serve as a reminder as to why we don't frequent Guerrero's Taqueria #2, in case I forget again.

I visited recently to try their super breakfast burrito. The couple working here are extremely friendly and hard working people. So how was my burrito? Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The chicken taco ($5.99) was good, but there was no wow factor. The chicken had decent flavor, but everything else felt pretty basic for a nearly $6 taco. The crunchy taco ($5.99) was probably the most disappointing. It reminded me of a small supermarket-style hard taco shell. The chopped steak inside was actually good, but it was heavily covered in shredded cheese. Then there's the Super Taco ($7.99). This one is a skip for me. It was loaded with cheese and watery guacamole, while the al pastor was drenched in sauce and seasoning. There was so much going on that I couldn't really appreciate the meat itself. That's roughly $20 for three tacos before tax... and ultimately, they still felt like fairly basic tacos made with basic ingredients. We also ordered the chicken quesadilla, and I'll give them this: it was MASSIVE. Definitely not lacking in portion size. But again, there was so much cheese, and the chicken was diced so finely that I found myself questioning the overall quality and freshness rather than appreciating the chicken. Surprisingly, my favorite part of the meal was the complimentary chips and green salsa. The green salsa had a nice kick and great flavor. Interestingly, though, our two cups tasted completely different one was flavorful and spicy, while the other was noticeably bland. After everything, we somehow walked out spending around $45 after tipping at checkout. That's where this place loses me. I'm willing to pay more for good food, and I understand restaurant prices have gone up everywhere. But when you're charging $5.99-$7.99 per taco, the quality has to justify it. The food wasn't terrible. It just wasn't memorable enough for the price. If you're coming here expecting elevated tacos to match the elevated price, I would temper those expectations.

Our food came out quickly, which was probably the only positive besides the michelada. The tacos were also disappointing. The photos show them being served on yellow corn tortillas, but ours came on white tortillas. I didn't complain because I figured they'd still taste good, but they had almost no flavor at all. My boyfriend ordered a shrimp cocktail, and it was just as bland. Between the two of us, we spent around $50, and it honestly felt like money wasted.
